Amy put hair weave in my hair twist because I have thinning hair. It looked Terrible! & it was hard for me as a man, to take that crap out! & she change her schedule twice on me. Will never go back!

Amy’s greeting was phenomenal, but her works was disrespectful.. I will not return and would not recommend. “African Braiding”. SMH end having to go somewhere else to achieve what I wanted done.

I always wait a couple days in order to do an honest and fair review, so here we go I like the final product, but when I book my appointment it was with the owner and for my surprise another girl jumped in (not a big deal) I never fight over prices, is your salon but u had to be more professional and let me know someone was going to jump in, this second girl pulled my hair really bad and was kind of slow, answered the phone like there wasn’t any sense of urgency and that’s when the owner make the mistake, this isn’t a $3 service and I think fair that if costumers pick up a braider the service is provided as we requested for, they’re both nice girls but I would have preferred that instead of braiding one of your kids hair you would had finished with me first, besides that everything went just fine

I’m so happy with my stitch corn roll braids. Amy did a phenomenal job on my hair. I received many compliments at work. She was so warm and kind with her amazing customer service. Not to mention on arrival you feel like you’re in good hands. The place was lovely and inviting with soothing music while you are being pampered. This salon is at a great convenient location and very much recommended. Thank you Amy! See you soon

Very kind, respectful. Always on time. Shop is clean and Ms. Amy does beautiful work. She also encourages you to speak up about your hair. She asks questions and I appreciate that. I've never left dissatisfied. Been a client for the past couple of years.

Great experience! It was challenging finding someone to braid my hair that was professional and seemed to care about my hair and what was best for me. After calling and then stopping by, Amy scheduled my appointment the very next day for small box braids because my hair is very short. When I arrived for my appointment at 9 AM, they were on time, quick and took care to make sure my hair was not too tight and my edges were not damaged. Definitely coming back!

Chanel did great job with my straight back cornrows Before doing my hair she recommended a wash due to flakes After getting a wash that literally took 9 minutes Amy the owner says ok the wash is gonna cost me 45 $. Never in my life I paid that much for a wash. Yea never again going back there Great way to keep clients coming back Middle of the hood charged a quick wash like we in bal harbor Miami Yea No never will I be back there Thanks again!

I really try to support black businesses but this business is horrible. You can make an appointment in advance on their website and the morning of the appointment they will request that you arrive over an hour earlier than your appointment time or they won’t do your hair. They have no respect for other people’s time and obligations. I have given them 3 chances. The first time I was told to come early for my appointment . I told Amy that I cannot do that and although she gave me attitude she honored it. The next time I went and got braids the person braiding my hair disappeared for over 30 minutes before finishing my hair. Amy made me pay before finishing the service. Also my head hurt for a whole week. Now today I had a 2 pm appointment for small kinky twists and I was told that I have to come an hour and a half earlier because I am getting small kinky twist. They were fully aware of this when my appointment was scheduled. I had my deposit returned. I will never go back. If you respect yourself do not do business with these women. For the price you would think they would have basic communication skills.

A big factor when I was looking for someone to do my hair was fullness in their pictures, and I was not disappointed. I got kinky twists done and am absolutely in love. There's so much volume and the braids are so neat. Amy herself is quick and professional. Absolutely do recommend.

AMY'S ASSISTANT IS EXTREMELY RUDE.. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE TIME THEY TOLD YOU TO COME IN.. ITS WAS AN HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... BEYOND WORD. I DONT EXPECT TO GO INTO AN AFRICAN BUSINESS AND GET GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT THIS WAS BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL.. THE WORST PARTS: THE WOMAN TOLD ME TO COME AT 1O ON A SUNDAY.. AS I ARRIVED, SHE STARTED DOING SOMEONE ELSE'S CORNROWS (tried to start an argument with me when I tried to confirm the time).. SHE GOT TO ME AFTER 11:30 AND MADE ME PAY FIRST.. THEN SHE VIDEO CALLED A MAN ON WHATS UP AND PLACE THE PHONE ON THE COUNTER, IN MY FACE THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME AND SCREAMED IN MY EAR THE WHOLE SESSION.. THAT WAS BESIDES THE FACT THAT SHE WAS RESTING HER HANDS ON MY FOREHEAD AS SHE WAS BRAIDING, BY THE END, MY FOREHEAD WAS FULL OF GREASE... I DO NOT RECOMEND THESE PEOPLE... THEY HAVE DISGUSTING PERSONALITIES AND WAYS... OH AND, IF YOU BRING YOUR OWN HAIR PACKS, AMY WILL TELL YOU SHE CAN'T USE THEM AND MAKE YOU BUY HERE... THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO KNOTLESS BRAIDS, THAT'S WHY THEY HIKE UP THE PRICE WHEN YOU ASK FOR IT...

After booking, Amy reached to confirm the style. She was very communicative and flexible and sent me pictures to decide on the final look. She provided braiding hair and didn't have a 20 step checklist before booking. She is fast braider and got my hair done in the amount of time listed when booking. Great salon experience.

Highly recommend Amy, I went to her for the first time and she did cornrows for me. Her work is very clean and crisp and she was very nice. The salon is very neat and tidy. I will be definitely be returning to get my hair done by her again in the future.

I drove a 1hour and 30mins to the salon. It was well worth the drive. She gave a great conversation was very funny. She excepts everyone and every race with an open heart. She did my hair amazing even did extensions for me cause my hair still a little to short and it all looks amazing. This was my first time doing anything like this with my hair. She made a customer for life. Thank you Amy.

She is an AMAZING WOMAN very professional and fast, best hair salon to got to for any needs, she did my locs very nice as I’m starting my journey with them. She is very good at multi-tasking as I book my appointment and there was a client she wasn’t finish but she got me in the seat very quick extra star there. Happy customer ;)
