Grateful I was able to make a last minute appointment for a massage. The staff was great at check in and check out. The aesthetic of this spa is fantastic—nice and warm, inviting. My massage therapist was the best I’ve ever had. His name is Ulysses. I let him know about my areas of tightness and he did a really fantastic job working those areas and also provided some great stretches. Very kind person too. When I’m in Seattle I will always go to this spot because of the level of service and expertise this team has. Thank you all!

I had been ignoring some muscle aches and pains for a few years and finally decided to try a massage. A friend recommended Crystal at Ananya and I am so glad that I listened! From check-in to check-out the process was smooth and easy. Paperwork can be filled out in advance so you don’t have to worry about it day of. Parking is tricky but validated and well explained. I got a deep tissue with Crystal and she was phenomenal. The perfect balance of communication, pressure, and expertise made it a great experience. I will be back and telling my friends.

My friend and I had a fantastic experience at this spa! I enjoyed the oxygen facial and used the sauna—both were incredibly relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, making the entire visit seamless. The estheticians were excellent, and the spa features high-quality products and luxurious decor that enhances the experience. I’ll definitely be returning for more treatments! Highly recommend.

A pleasant time, but for prices like these I was disappointed. The hot tea was cold, renovations paused with no doors on the showers, no towels anywhere. I'm sure it'll be better when the renovations are done, but I feel a bit cheated to pay so much for an unfinished experience.

I have been going to Ananya spa for years now, it’s an absolute gem in the city. Their staff, products and everything is just top notch. Please check out their new location asap, it’s like walking into 7 star luxury spa.

This place is ridiculous. I had an appointment and they called the night before to move my appointment earlier. (They said they often move peoples appointments). I didn’t get the message since it was less than 12 hours notice and then they charged my card 100% for a no show. Unbelievably bad customer service.

Was in from out of town and tripped into this place when they could get me last minute in a rainy cold Sunday night. Crystal gave me one of the best and strongest massages of my life and she did cupping on my aching feet. The new facility’s sauna etc are top notch and beautiful. Just great!

I had a massage experience with Jay. I was worried as this would be my first massage ever. I didn’t want to have too much pain as I have been suffering from soreness/tightness in my muscles for months. When I say she was excellent. She assessed my tolerance and increased pressure only within my comfort zone. She also picked up on areas of strain without me saying a word. As for the aftermath, I feel light as a feather and as one in my body again. I’m excited to return and I will be having my next session with Jay again.

UPDATE!!! The spa called me and listened to my story. They were very apologetic and sorry that the session did not go as I expected and gave us a full refund on my massage. I was very impressed with the level of care and attention they gave this matter. I’ve updated the rating to reflect that. My wife and I had a couple’s massage session. My massage specialist was very nice, asked what ails me, all the usual pre-massage protocol. I mentioned a hand injury and she suggested using a certain tool/process for which I said yes. Little did I know that was going to be 95% of my massage. The tool was not unbearable, but not totally comfortable either. I trusted her judgement and didn’t address my concern at the time, but was very surprised when she said “ok, we’re done”. In the initial questionnaire, I mentioned pain in my legs and lower back and wanted some attention there, but since all the time was spent on this tool and procedure, my legs and back were completely ignored. Needless to say I was very disappointed, but since I’m the kind of person that doesn’t like to make someone feel bad, I didn’t say anything, and in hindsight, I should’ve expressed how I truly felt. I responded to a review request that day and expressed how I felt, and surprisingly have not heard a single from them. Only reason I’m not giving one star is because my wife said her massage was great.

Was told dryer wasn't working so no robe offered. But Nicole got me one from somewhere, greeted me warmly, super knowledgeable about products and gave me an amazing facial.

I really enjoyed the facial service; it was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the way the gratuity was handled. The automatic 20% tip was added without informing me of the amount, which ended up being $57. I would have preferred to choose a tip amount myself, perhaps around $25 or $30, based on the service provided. I also took products from them, I think they put the 20% on the total of facial with products, which is unfair. It would be great if customers were given the option to select their tip amount rather than having it automatically set. This would feel fairer and more transparent. I hope you consider making this change for future customers

Ulysses (hope i spelled right) did a phenomenal job from beginning to end they were firm but caring in approach and really helped with my sciatica! Highly recommend this place.

While the environment is nice with relaxing smells and music, but TBH, I was very disappointed with my massage. I had asked many times that I wanted a very firm massage on my back and shoulders from my call, to the therapist directly. I signed up for a deep tissue as well. Instead I received a very light massage where maybe 30% was my back and shoulders which is all I wanted. There was even a point when I had to hold up my own head causing more strain on my neck. I expect much more after spending $324 on two massages. I ended up leaving more stressed and upset than when I arrived.

I visited back in November and tried to reach out to the spa directly multiple times with no response. The individual I had was listening loudly to a podcast that I could hear the entirety of my massage. I expressed audible discomfort multiple times. They never asked about pressure or comfort. They were using my shoulders to prop their massage tools up. I received a scalp massage and the mixture they poured onto my head got onto my face. I won’t be returning especially with the lack of communication or desire to hear feedback from their clients.

Got the hot sugar back rub addon with the hot stone massage with Gerard for me and I didn't catch the name of the therapist for my partner. Checkin was quick and easy. Overall was a fantastic experience, Gerard went through my check in form with me asking for more details about things I had included, asked for more info to better guide the experience. To reiterate, it was fantastic.

O my gosh! Never have I ever been to a spa so relaxing and luxurious. From the moment I stepped in, to the moment I left, I was in total bliss. I found my zen, if you will. Imani was exceptional! The front desk was charming and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place if you need to treat yourself. And then you can go to the waterfront and do some shopping or go to Pike's fish market right after.

Clean, calm and friendly staff. I've been going here for years. Typically get a spa package that offers massage and facial; 50 minutes each, Om package is a great deal.

One of the worst experiences of my life. I was physically harmed by a lady named Crystal, she did not listen to the clear boundaries I set around my body and disability and has left me unable to walk for days. She also kept trying to ask me about my tattoos and was sharing about her personal life ADDITIONALLY the front desk charged the wrong card for my service. The spa has avoided taking responsibility for their actions and will for some reason not reverse the charges. Do not trust this spa with your body.

I was gifted a spa day at Ananya and overall had a good visit. I had a 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. I enjoyed the massage but would probably skip the facial if I chose to come back. This was my second facial ever and facials just may not be my thing. I did however really enjoy the massage! When you arrive you are taken back to the locker room/dressing area. It is small and only has one private dressing stall. Most people, including myself, just changed in the area adjacent to the lockers. There is one bathroom for all guests to use. This was my least favorite part of the experience. Waiting in line to use the bathroom while pregnant was not relaxing. All and all, the facilities were clean and the staff was kind. It was nice changing into comfortable robes during our stay. My next spa visit will most likely be at a different Seattle Spa but I won’t close my mind completely to Ananya.

Great little spa spot in belltown. The staff is attentive and professional. The masseuse were polite and respectful and asked for preference. However, they worked on some areas more than others, so had to ask them to cover specific areas again. The price is reasonable too. Will definitely try it again.

I got a massage and facial, and I really enjoyed my interaction with my facial woman. She was knowledgeable and did a wonderful job explaining everything. All this along with the added complimentary teas/drinks along with robes and slippers rentals was great.

My sister treated me to a facial at Ananya a couple years ago as a birthday gift, and we both have been returning regularly ever since. I have only ever had extremely positive experiences at this lovely spa! This is the only spa I will go to. Aside from the expert services, the ambiance is top notch. Yummy herbal tea upon entering, very friendly staff at the counter, cozy soft robes, peaceful music, perfectly dimmed lighting, a safe feeling locker/changing area, and it’s very clean. Facials: The signature facial is so relaxing, and the aesthetician always does a thorough job of learning your skincare routine and concerns, so they can personalize the products they use to best suit your needs. If you are interested in their process, they are always more than happy to teach you about the products, how to use them properly, and how they will benefit you. If you want to feel extra pampered, the Hydrafacial is luxurious. It will leave your face hydrated, clear, bright, and plump like a newborn baby. If you opt for a dermaplaning, you can be confident that your aesthetician will have a precise and deft hand. They use extremely sharp surgical steel razors that will completely exfoliate off the top layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz without scratching your face or causing excessive irritation. Every aesthetician I’ve worked with at Ananya is highly knowledgable, gentle, and professional. I do like to ask for Naomi if she’s available, but truly everyone I’ve met here is fantastic! Your aesthetician may leave a couple of skincare product recommendations for you at the counter. I’m a big fan of the Eminence line they carry as it’s super gentle, clean, and affordable. The lip treatment trio, strawberry rhubarb hyaluronic masque, and hyaluronic hydrator all are on repeat for me. Massages: I’ve had relaxing Swedish massages, and intense deep tissue massages here alike. Both have been positive experiences. For the past year, I have been seeing Jay once a month for deep tissue, and this has done WONDERS for chronic migraines and tension headaches. I swear, Jay is akin to a magician! They have helped release years of muscle tension caused by anxiety, constant high heel wearing, and teeth grinding. I truly can’t recommend them enough. Your massage therapist will listen intently to your needs and concerns to provide you with the most beneficial experience based on their expertise. True experts in their field. Don’t snooze on the add ons as they can really enhance your massage. Personally, I like to opt for the CBD oil when I’m getting a deep tissue massage. Hot rocks and Gua Sha are also fun choices for inflammation and relaxation. Make sure you schedule time after your massage to rest, and drink lots of water! Misc. I’ve never had an issue finding street parking on Elliott right out front. I really can’t recommend Ananya enough!
