I have called this office 3 days in a row...no answer and NO ONE calls u back...she is pretty good dr but mo one answers or returns calls!!!!... how r u supposed to book an appointment????

This was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The doctor never introduced herself to me and until she came into the room for the exam I assumed she was the front desk assistant. As a new patient she did not ask me a single question regarding my previous history. I did not see her wash her hands prior to or after my exam was over. The exam was about 2 minutes and she said “all looks good, see you in a year”. I was charged $200 for this appointment where she did absolutely nothing. I have called multiple times to address my concerns and cannot get ahold of her. I feel as though I have been scammed and will now need to go pay additional money to get a legitimate exam performed.

I had an appointment here back in April where I had a great experience. I rated it 5 stars. I came to get put on birth control specifically Sprintec, which I had been on for years prior to having my daughter. I was given a one month supply, which I thought was unusual because I used to get three months at a time. Once my medication ran out, I called for a refill. I was told that I had to come in for a Pap smear in order for them to refill it. When I asked why, they stated that it was policy to have a Pap smear done BEFORE going on birth control. If that was the case, why was I already given a one month supply? I don’t have a vehicle and it’s difficult for me to make it to appointments. I called my previous Gynacologist from frederick md. They told me that it was not mandatory for a pap smear before going on birth control unless it was an IUD. Now I have to wait until september to get an appointment somewhere else. I really liked the doctor here but now I’m disappointed.

I've been putting off getting a check up for years. I found good reviews online for Dr. Anderson so I checked out her website and was able to schedule my appointment online. Within minutes I received a confirmation email - very easy and convenient. I was nervous to go, but her office had a welcoming atmosphere so I was instantly put at ease. Dr. Anderson greeted me with a warm smile and before I knew it, my appointment was over! What a relief! I highly recommend her!

Dr Anderson was recommended to me by my PCP, and also a friend of mine. I am glad that I went to her. She is very knowledgeable, and thorough. I appreciated her kind demeanor, and how she took the time to explain things to me, so I had a full understanding. She is someone I would recommend to my daughter.

Finding a new dr after being unhappy with my previous one and let me say I am happy I went. Dr.Anderson was very gentle and explained everything because I was very nervous and had many concerns. I worried about health issues with a previous surgery and she immediately set up appointments for all testing needed- even ultrasounds within two weeks!!!- . She didn’t make me wait forever for appointments and made sure to tell me reach out if I needed it. Recommending to family and friends

First impressions, the office environment was nice and the receptionist was friendly. I was very happy to get an appointment for an annual exam as a new patient within 2 weeks whereas my current OB had a 4 month wait. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time to be seen and I did not even know the woman taking me back into the room was Dr Anderson until she began examining me. I thought she was a nurse! She was completely cold and flat, never introduced herself to me or spoke more than a couple sentences the whole visit (which was maybe 10 minutes tops). Never asked me any questions about my medical history except if I do monthly breast exams. She barely touched or felt around on me, I don’t know how good of an exam that actually was. The part that really bothered me was as I was lying on the table for the Pap, she pulled a plastic speculum straight out of the drawer, rinsed it in the sink and put it in me! Now I am anxious if it was even properly sterile! No nurse was present in the room during the exam, which I found weird, any other GYN appt I have ever been to they always have two people present in the room. As I was leaving I caught her in the hallway to ask if she would manage a pregnancy as I was considering one more and she said no. What a waste, I should have just stuck it out and waited for my regular office. I was hoping to find a smaller, more personal, caring office for my ob/gyn needs and was completely disappointed. It was a bad experience and I was so bothered by the whole thing I cried when I got home. I don’t know if Dr. Anderson is going through something personal or is experiencing burn out, but after reading similar experiences from others on here, I won’t come back.

First time impressions, the office was lovely. Loved all the plants in the waiting room. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room at all. I was there for a yearly routine exam, and I felt Dr. Anderson was thorough. My only complaint was that she was not very personable. She didn’t even introduce herself to me. Thank goodness this wasn’t my first time getting a Pap smear because she did little to make me feel comfortable. She did not try to get to know me, absolutely zero conversation or small talk. I feel like since I was a new patient that maybe she would try to get to know me a little? She Completely ignored my 9 year old daughter who was with me as well. I wanted my daughter to see what OBYGN visits were like so when it’s time for hers in the future she will have an idea of what’s to come, so I was a little disappointed with that aspect of the visit. But since the doctor seems professional and the fact that the office is very convenient to my work/home I will give it another try!

Dr Anderson is very professional very thorough with every thing she does she answers all questions to the best of her ability to keep you informed or when you need mammogram and your next paps and will book you for anything you need to be seen first GYN I've been seeing her now for approximately 7years had no complaints book your next appointment with her you will not be disappointed.if I could give more than 5 stars it would be 10+.

Receptionist was great, Dr. Anderson did not introduce herself to me so I thought she was a medical assistant seeing that she did my vitals, I only realized she was the doctor when she back to the room to perform the Pap smear. She barely smiled and I asked her to check some results for me that I was concerned about and she seemed to be not interested. Everyone’s experience is different so I’m not going to say that I wouldn’t recommend her.

Doesn't listen or respect patients' time (at least not mine). I am newer to this area and needed to find a new GYN. I thought, based on the positive reviews, that Dr. Anderson would be a good choice. Unfortunately the experiences described in the positive reviews are not at all similar to the experience I had with this doctor. Maybe she solicited these reviews, or maybe she prefers the "ob" portion of "ob-gyn" and these are ob reviews. I went to her for my annual, which was fine; I wasn't overly impressed but accomplished what I needed to. Then I had a problem - a minor feminine issue. My body has a hard time shaking minor infections due to medication I take for an autoimmune disease, and the effect that medication has on my immune system. I explained this repeatedly to Dr Anderson, and to the receptionist in subsequent follow up calls. I explained the treatment regimen that works for me (over and over). Dr Anderson said she just wanted to confirm the issue with lab results and then would send the prescription. It became apparent that she was not comfortable with the proposed treatment regimen when she refused to send the prescription after the lab results confirmed the issue. That is her right, I suppose, even though it doesn't make sense, but for some reason she was not comfortable stating that to my face. I only figured it out by her actions, which were completely unprofessional. Not only did she say one thing when I was in her office and do the opposite afterwards, she refused to come to the phone and explain her reasoning to me. Instead, she just totally blew me off. When I asked the receptionist who took my follow up call if the doctor had explained why she told me she would send the prescription once lab results confirmed the problem while I was in her office if she wasn't comfortable doing that, the receptionist told me the doctor was "looking into it" (looking into what, remembering what she told me during the visit?), and would "call me back". I never heard back from her. This occurred over a period of several weeks, during which time I visited her office twice and called several times. I then had to start over with another doctor who did end up helping me. Dr Anderson was a total waste of time. It was also apparent during the visit that she wasn't listening to me; she seemed distracted and as if she was in a rush. It also seems like she overbooks; all three times that I visited her office I arrived early but was not seen for 30-45 minutes past my scheduled appointment times.

Dr Anderson's waiting area is small and quaint. I always feel very relaxed by the minimal yet inviting decor. The check in process is efficient and there's never a long wait. Dr Anderson is always pleasant, friendly while still maintaining optimal professionalism. She listens to all of you concerns/questions and always has an answer that puts your mind at ease. As a middle aged woman, I've had difficulty over the years finding a GYN that fit my needs and actually listens. Choosing Dr Anderson as my GYN was the best decision I made almost 4 years ago. I wish she could be my PCP too.

Dr Anderson, has great bedside manner and most of all I loved that I was in and out. I feel in this day in time that is very important to not be sitting and waiting to be seen when you have an appt. I was able to make it back to work ontime while getting good service.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Anderson for 5 or 6 years now and I have always been happy with her. She’s incredibly nice and informative, and she makes the whole gynecology experience more comfortable. Not to mention her smaller office makes visits feel more personal, and not quite so medical/professional.
