Go here at least once a months. Place is clean, team is professional, and the massages are great (especially if you like firm pressure). Can’t beat $76 for a 90 minute massage!

I went to Angel Hands Wellness for my first massage in two years, because I've been having a lot of pain in my shoulders and wanted to treat myself for my birthday - while also not breaking the bank. Based on reviews and their pricing menu, I was really looking forward to the experience. I showed up (with an appointment) and they didn't have any sort of check in process - I'm not really sure what the point of making an appointment is, they never asked my name and asked all of the questions I had already filled out online. They also didn't have any health or waiver forms to fill out, which I've never experienced anywhere else I've received a massage and kind of feels concerning for everyone involved. But I looked over that, thinking maybe it's just that I'm not originally from NYC and don't know how it works here. As the massage went on, however, I realized there's a reason it's so cheap. The massage went back and forth between feeling good to being really bad. And by bad, I mean sometimes very painful and sometimes nothing at all. I couldn't tell at times if the masseuse was good at her job and making mistakes, or bad at her job and accidentally doing things right on occasion. I'm pretty sure you're *not* supposed to put your elbow directly into someone's spine, for example, but at other times she located the crazy knots in my shoulder blade and it felt incredible. I left after my hour and was really dizzy for about 15 minutes which was really unsettling. But eventually I felt fine, and went about my day. As the day went on, though, my back started hurting really badly, worse than when I went in. I thought that this would be much more temporary than it was, because of the pressure and because I hadn't received a massage in awhile. But I had very weird bruises on my back from her elbow - and my back / neck are still in pain (it has been a week). It was not the worst massage I've ever gotten, but it was pretty close. I guess you get what you pay for in this city, and I will make sure to go to an establishment in the future where the staff are clearly trained on human anatomy and massage techniques.

It’s a hit or miss depending on your masseuse . It’s like one or two that’s not good. The ones that are good are very good so I suggest you ask for the one you want if you get the right one . Great price too.

Was able to get an appointment for 2 by calling in 20 minutes in advance. The massage was really great and the masseuse worked out all of my knots. Highly recommend!

Went for a foot massage that was so incredible i added on a body massage too. Wow! They really are attentive and so have always had issues with pressure being too night, except here they did it perfectly! A great price, and it’s super easy to book. Will be back for sure!

Massage was very strong. I felt beat up. 😂 but I think if you tell them pressure preference, you’ll be fine. Half shiatsu and half Swedish with oil, and hot stones for a few minutes on my back. Beds were private with curtain separation.

Rita and Linda were absolutely wonderful. Linda took the time to work out my pains in my neck and healed all my muscles. Rita worked on my guy and was just great. We called at 5:15 and we were able to get a couples massage at 5:30 and it’s not like they were slow! They were super busy so I appreciate how they got us in right away and started and ended right on time too! $49 per person for an hour and after your 10th massage you get a free one! This is a neighborhood spot located right on 16th and 1st, you buzz and walk up one flight. This place and all the people are just absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be back! Every time we go we are kindly greeted, provided water and asked if there are any sore spots etc. This is a must try!

I love this place! I’ve been to a number of spas in the city and this one is the only one I come back to. Staff is friendly and caring, and the foot massages are so good I fall asleep almost instantly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an affordable go-too spot.

I’ve been going to this massage place for about a year and only have positive things to say. The ladies who work here are very strong and know what they are doing. Some of the massages have been so good that I felt years of deep rooted tension being released from my body. It’s a no frills type of establishment, which in my experience are usually the best spots for body work with real firm pressure. The price is very reasonable, so it’s quite ideal if you’re looking for weekly massages. They are super easy to book with over the phone and usually have flexibility for walk ins.
