I went in for my first perm, I was a little nervous but the atmosphere was cozy and Angela made me feel very comfortable. She was very helpful in helping me decide exactly what I wanted and walked me through the whole process; my hair looks AMAZINGG to say the least 😍 I highly recommend!

The hairstylist I was going to really messed my hair up so I was on Google and came across Green Rose Salon and called . Angela said if I came right then she would fix it for me. We'll let me tell you if you need a good hairstylist Angela is the one to go to. She has a new client for life. I will not be going back to my old hairstylist never again. Angela is a miracle ✨️ worker.

Angela did an amazing job! I made the mistake of going to someone closer to my side of town and they messed up my hair and did the exact opposite of what I ask for. Angela took her time and made sure everything I wanted was doable and would be flattering. Will continue to make the long drive from north east to golden shears. Will go to no one else 😊

I cant say enough about Angela. I moved here from Colorado and of course always nervous about having someone new cut your hair and do a perm. She done a great job. She is all about keeping your hair healthy and not charging you for more services than you need. I already made my next appointment. After we relocated to South Carolina, I needed a new hairdresser. I tried a couple of expensive places and the results were just very underwhelming. By God’s grace, we found Angie at Golden Shears. The first time I went, she was quick to figure out what looks best with my hair and gave me the best hair cut of my life. She was able to tell that my hair has some curl to it (which I can only really see sometimes when it air dries) and was able to cut my hair in such a way that it really brought out the most shape and volume that I have ever had from a haircut. She did the same for my daughter. My daughter had a specific idea of what she wanted and Angie nailed it. Angie obviously has a gift when it comes to hair. I also see Angie for color, to cover greys. She’s really thorough about explaining your options and you can tell she really wants you to be happy with your results. I am driving 35 minutes one way to have her do my hair; that’s how much I like her and her work. The cherry on top is how kind and warm she is with all of her customers. Her salon has a very friendly atmosphere and she makes everyone feel at home. You should definitely make an appointment. She’s worth every penny.

Has done miracles for my hair, time and time again. She’s honest about what she thinks will look good and is not afraid to tell you that an idea you have just won’t turn out the way you think it will. She is not afraid to lose some money by telling you not to get a service done if she thinks it will ruin your hair or make you regret it. I cannot stress enough how much she cares more about you and your hair than her money.

I was new to this area so I checked reviews on the internet and Angela at Golden Shears had wonderful reviews. She told me my hair was too blond for me so she highlighted my hair with colors that complimented my coloring. Also gave me a haircut that was very flattering and I could style it like she did. My friends from out of town could not stop complimenting me on how well it looked. I’m so glad I found a wonderful hair dresser.

Amazing Top Tier Experience! Services done: Men’s Alkaline Spiral Perm + Haircut ✨My experience: For a while I had been wanting to get my hair perm This was my first time getting a perm. Had a consultation a week prior to discuss my options for getting the hairstyle and curls that I wanted. Since my hair is naturally very fine and straight, we decided to go with an Alkaline Spiral Perm with A mix of pink and purple rods I believe. From start to finish the Perm + Haircut was just 2 hours. My expectations were blown away. I love the way my hair looks now! ✨ The perm process: no pain. Just a tad bit discomfort when she was putting the rods in. Everyone compliments my hair now, all of my friends & family love it just As much as I do! ✨ I will include some after pictures, I don’t know how but I forgot to take a before picture 🤣 I found one from a few weeks ago that shows how my hair looked in it’s natural state 5/5 Stars! My first experience at Golden Shears was amazing. Very cozy, welcoming, and friendly environment. Salon was very clean and well taken care of. They were able to bring my hair from greasy gold go a platinum blonde and even stayed extra extra late to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. My hair hair is transformed and I feel more confident with it then I did walking in. All of the time and effort has 100% been worth it. Turned out absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. 10/10 would recommend and will return.

This is a wonderful place to go for hair care !! Not only friendly and professional but Angie is a pure genius when comes to color and haircuts . After 3 years of trying to fix my hair after a bad color and cut Angie did it in under 2 hours . Just wow !!

Angela is amazing!!! I recently lost over 100 pounds, and for years I used my hair to mask my weight. My hair was almost at my waist. My hair was just hanging and so heavy, so I went to another salon to get a my haircut and we decided to cut it all off like 15 inches. My hair was above my shoulders, it felt a lot better but it was still just hanging there. No style at all no curl no waves nothing.. I was so disappointed.. I found Angela about two months after that haircut. She sat me down in the chair and she worked magic!!! She didn’t even have to cut much off. She is a professional that knows hair period. My hair has life again all my natural curls and waves are back!! So if you want a professional that actually knows how to cut hair for the shape of your face she is your girl!!! Thanks again!!

I never caught the name of the name of the lady who did my hair, but from reviews i’m assuming that her name is Angela. It was my first time going to this salon not knowing it was booked appointments only; fortunately she was able to squeeze me in on what seemed like a busy day. Angela is awesome I have had some hair problems for a while but Angela had me come in and I came out feeling like a new woman. She is very patient and kind. Very talented she knows what she’s doing. Honestly I’m a very skeptical person but she left me a believer in her hair skills! I will be going there from now on for all my hair needs and also a mani/pedi.
