Anna is the best at cutting men's hair! Her incredible talent for styling is matched by her genuinely nice and personable nature. Every visit is a pleasure. I've been thrilled with every haircut she's given me and can't imagine going to anyone else. Been coming to Anna’s every month for over 5 years now. I used to live 5 mins away but even when I moved further away I still drive back to get my haircut from her. She has great skill while knowing current styling trends and the haircuts are always clean. Highly recommended.

Returning customer here, I've been getting my hair cut and styled with Anna for awhile now. A few years ago, I moved from downtown to San Gabriel Valley. There are many hair salons and stylists in my town (which I tried) none compete with Anna's. I'd rather drive the extra mile and get it done right the first time. She really is the best, highly recommended!

Anna has always been professional in what she does and is a perfectionist and always has you looking good no matter what type of hair you have. She can create any type of style that you want. She is also efficient in cutting men's hair! She's the best!

Anna is the best hidden gem in DTLA. I am so happy to have found her on Yelp and she has never disappointed with her haircuts! Being Asian and having really straight hair, getting a cut is a nightmare for me because 99% of the time, hairdressers in the US dont know how to handle Asian hair. A little misstep could turn into a disaster because its impossible to hide the errors with straight hair. It was a relief that I found Anna because I can trust her attention to details and care. Given the service fee and her skilset, this is undeniably the best hairdresser in DTLA!

I have been going to Anna for years now to get my hair cut. She always does an amazing job and spends extra time to make sure it is just the way I want it. She is also just such a great person and fun to chat with. I was living in Echo Park when I first started going to Anna, and I now live in Culver City...but I still take the trip back to Chinatown because she is that good! I highly recommend Anna to anyone. You won't be disappointed with your haircut or your experience.

My friend introduced me to this barber and I have been going here ever since. Anna is excellent at cutting and styling hair. She takes her time and she constantly makes sure that you are getting the exact haircut you want.

Coming here was a huge mistake. I asked for a shoulder length cut with a couple of layers. I specifically said that I needed to be able to put it in a ponytail. I had several pictures as an example. I even told her that I liked it and it was cute after her initial cut. Then for some inexplicable reason, she kept chopping away at it. I thought she was putting a style in it, trimming it up. But she massacred it. It looks like my 4 year old took scissors to my head as I slept. It is so choppy and so short, I cannot put it in a ponytail or do anything at all with it. I constantly have hair on my face, ears and neck which I can't stand. She said "It will look how you want it in a year." Who goes to a salon to have their hair butchered that day to live with it for a year? We want to look good that day. Makes absolutely no sense. My daughter had long hair. I told her we like her hair long. I wanted a 2 inch trim. I even showed her exactly where I wanted the cut. My daughter now has shoulder length hair. Ironically, the length she couldn't seem to give me. She cut over 2 years worth of growth off of my daughter's hair. She seems to have a compulsion where she cannot stop cutting. I have never felt so bad about my hair. I could have cut it better myself. Now I have to walk around like this or have it cropped to fix it. How hard is it to cut hair the lengths people ask for? I showed her a picture for me, and exactly where to cut for my daughter and was completely ignored. Beyond upset. Hope I can save someone else from making the mistake of coming here.

I always have trouble finding a barber that can really cut the style that I want, but I decided to give Anna a shot after reading all the good reviews on Yelp, and I finally found someone who knows what I want. She is super attentive to what you want, and she is very well experienced. Now I go to her on a regular basis. I highly recommend her!!!

I found Anna by chance while searching online for a local hairstylist. I had been visiting salons left and right trying to find someone who understood my hair and the cut I was going for to no avail until I ran into her Yelp reviews and took a chance. It was one of the best decisions I could have made and she has been cutting my hair ever since. The name says it all, you'll leave with a beautiful, classic cut and can even afford to grab some lunch nearby!

I'm a high school student that got brought along during a mother's hair appointment and this was a year ago. I have gotten my first perm st this place and boy it was an amazing experience. Anna is a sweet lady and after the first visit, she gives you her number so you can schedule appointments that work for you. She is a stylist and she gives suggestions if you are looking for some but can also still style your hair to any directions or a picture. Her prices are great for the excellent service you get($12) which would cost over ($30) if you were at a upend place. She does have dogs so don't get scared when they bark, they are lovely once you know them.
