I’ve been going to Annetta’s Beauty Bar for years and love the atmosphere. It’s centrally located in Walnut Hills, close to a coffee shop & restaurant (for the folks that wanna grab something to eat before or after your appointment). Annetta herself is my preferred stylist, as she does such an amazing job with my natural hair and extension hairstyles. She’s knowledgeable & uses eco friendly products that leaves my hair feeling luxurious. Her staff are great too!

Not really happy with the scheduling system.Why are you guys showing availability on the booking section of the website if you are not accepting any clients?My appointment was cancelled 3 times and every time I had to pay the pre charge ,costing me more than the service I actually wanted.

This was my second visit to the salon after a nice silk press, almost two weeks prior. My appointment was set for 5/4/2023 for the service of "glam sew-in install", except my closure was lace. I was informed that the salon does not like to use glue as the salon focuses on holistic/vegan practices for doing hair. I understood and the owner made reasonable accommodations to ensure I still had a successful appointment (before 5/4/2023). I was slated to drop off the closure 48-hours in advance and on my down to the salon (about 6 minutes) I was told that the stylist would not be available due to a client cancelation. There were no worries, but I did try to abide by the rules and the owner granted me grace on the situation. Service on 5/4/2023: I understood that this was not necessarily within the baliliwick of one of Annetta's stylists however I trusted the process, but by the weekend my hair appeared to bunch at the top of my head and the hair laying down at the sides were very "crunchy", which loosened up over a period. Within 7 days, the lace closure not only lifted, but the thread around my hair became loosened, which lifted the closure even further. I have tried securing my hair with a few Bobby pins. The lace appeared to be "over-plucked " according to my esthetician and she stated there was too much makeup on the part. I do wish that the owner of the salon would have stayed to ensure that the service was completed correctly. I booked the appt at 225 and the price was changed to 250, which wasn't an issue, but I was surprised to learn this information at the conclusion of the appointment. I was supposed to receive a specialized scalp treatment, which was not performed because the stylist forgot. I wear sew-ins frequently, but did not expect the cost-per-wear to not even reach two weeks post getting the style. I plan to remove the hairstyle within the next 8 days as the longevity didn't meet my expectations. I am posting the review because I feel like the service could have gone better and didn't really expect unfavorable results.

I had such an amazing experience at Annetta's Beauty Bar. I've been desperate for a good haircut that works with my curly hair and will look great blown out too. Chauntel delivered the best cut I've had in a long while. I have been getting compliments nonstop since! I also have to comment on the incredible hair treatment I got before the cut. I've never had such a treatment done on my hair and scalp. The products she used, and the scalp steam process left my hair feeling so amazing. Chauntel - get used to me because I will be back!

My first time having my hair done here. And Annetta did a BOMB 💣 😍 JOB!!!!! I loved it. My hair looks the best it EVER has. Got a silk press on very coarse, untrained hair. She knows what she's doing and was very informative. I will be returning
