I had an appointment at 1pm that I scheduled a day prior with Kim I get to the shop no one is here and they looked closed, cool I’m 5 minutes early so I think they’re probably running late or something complete fine I texted them to let them know I was at the shop no response I called them 3 times no answer left a voicemail no call back this place is so unprofessional why schedule an appointment and not show up at all

They were initially very courteous and providing good customer service when I was setting up the appointment. However, the day of the appointment no one showed up. I called and texted the provided number, to say (after waiting 25 minutes) that i was going to leave soon, and just received the response "okay". All of this was very surprising as there was such great initial customer service. I'm giving them 3 stars, not because I was able to get my hair done, but simply bc they are a small business in my neighborhood and I think it's important to support small, especially family owned businesses. However, if I where to give a honest review, based on this experience they would get 2 stars at most. I called another person who braids, and she picked up right away. Her posted business hours are her actual business hours, and she was willing to do my braids for slightly less then the price I was quoted with this shop. It's funny how life works! I probably would not have called this other business unless this situation happened, but it did unfortunately. The happy ending is that I'm still getting my hair braided (I'm pregnant w/my second baby and feel tired all the time excited not to do my hair for a little while:), and for less. I will be going to this other person in the future.
