Horrible customer service! I had an appointment booked for 2 o’clock today, that I booked back in November. Came in to the salon at 1:58, checked in at the desk and I was told to have a seat until Tracy was ready. Sat there until 3:38 and never was serviced. Her and her assistant ignored me never acknowledged me as if they were waiting for me to leave because I can tell she was an extremely overbooked. I am a pretty patient person so an update or reschedule something would have been appreciated. Not professional at all. Keep in mind you have to pay $70 just to reserve the appointment just to wait in the salon all day?

I had heard mixed reviews about this salon, but thought that because they had been in business for over 20 years, they must be doing something right, so I booked an appointment with Tracy who specializes in reversing thinning hair. She's pleasant, and quick, but doesn't advise the clients on how much each treatment types costs, and tends to apply several different treatments. I was very surprised that after I got out of her chair, the amount I owed was more than my SMUD bill after an exceptionally hot summer month. After that every expensive experience, I found another natural hair salon with a trichologist who has a price menu shown to clients, discusses with clients what will be done, before doing it and not have hidden costs.

I went in recently to get a silk press with some curls. I was helped by antoinette. she seemed pretty nice, but she kept making excuses for why she couldn’t give me what i asked for. saying my hair was too short and uneven and that she didn’t reccomend getting the curls. i didn’t really mind all that much because my plan was to just go home and fix it. she then told me that i needed my hair to be evened out and i said she could. but then she tells me it’s going to be an extra 40. i didn’t want to give her the 85 cuz she had me looking like the girl from polar express. so i said no and she kept trying to pressure me into it. after that i was very much never coming back to her, but she kept telling me to come back to her. i kept it cute and was just saying “okay” but girl i ain’t never coming back to that salon. on top of that, when it came to payment i didn’t really want to pay because i didn’t like how it looked. however, i still decided to send her the 85 dollars. but while i was trying to send it she was hovering over me like a weirdo! i don’t go to salons but for my first salon experience, it was terrible. i just got rid of the silk press and put on a ponytail. girl bye.
