MY GIRL ELLA, perfect and just what I wanted. No smell no bulk and the cutest well shaped gen x set. They take care of you here. I’ll have to get some gem bling on them next time

My original place was closed for the day and I needed a gel X full set.... so I found AO nails. I thought I was getting the best service at my original place but Emily did an amazing job here at AO..Her attention to detail was phenomenal!! ELLA is so awesome. Love having her do my nails....Sally was extremely helpful and the rest of the staff were very very nice. I'm a forever fan now and this is my new nail salon. I was complacent and I didn't know I could get this awesome service. P.S. I don't mind paying for perfection.

Friendly place, make appointments in advance. They don't have the best selection of regular nail polish, but lots of the gel, etc. callus removal is $15 more.

Updating my review! Thank you all for such a great service and for giving me a discount for the inconvenience!! Original Review: I immensely hope to change this yelp review after receiving my (now rescheduled) appointment on July 5th. I don't live in San Diego, but I travel here for work often. After spending a copious amount of time researching a nail and eyelash service salon with good reviews that was open late, I found this salon. I submitted an inquiry on Yelp and was instructed to call and make an appointment and immediately did. The person I spoke with sounded very accommodating and understanding and set me up with an appointment for today, 7/3 at 6:30pm. I left work early and drove 15 minutes and walked into the salon to find out my appointment was never set and turned away . Under typical circumstances, I would be disappointed but totally understand. We're all human, we make mistakes! But unfortunately in my case, it really inconveniences me because I am working pretty non-forgiving hours (7am-9pm) with no days off besides a half day today and the 4th for the next two weeks. I'm super bummed and was really looking forward to some time to rejuvenate. Fingers crossed my appointment goes well, I really hate giving bad reviews and want to give the benefit of the doubt for human error.

I needed an emergency fix on my nails tonight and AO Nails was the only salon open near me. The ladies were so kind squeezing me in last minute and efficient helping me out. I will definitely be coming back here to get my nails done in the future!

Staff was very sweet but the prices are insanely expensive. Wish they would have done more on my pedicure service, they hardly soften my feet and no massaging or callus removal at all the cost for that was $65. Then a short full set is $75 than they kinda push you to tip also then they also have a service charge on top of that! It’s insane I’ve maybe max spent $85 on both services with outstanding job on both services at other locations but I just wanted to test them because they were close to my work.Probably won’t go back.

Amazing service and exceptional quality! I came in last minute on a Sunday night, and they were very accommodating. They have an extensive range of colors available. I couldn’t decide what I wanted and absolutely loved their recommendation. I’m so glad I went with it, because I wouldn’t have thought of the combination they recommended — I couldn’t love it more! They are very thorough and pay close attention to detail. I will definitely be sure to make an appointment when I come back (early enough to get my groceries at 99 Ranch right after… a 2-for-1 experience!) 😉

I've been to this nail salon a few times now and I will definitely keep coming back. The first time, I was going out of town and this was the place that I came to because they were open a little later than most of the other ones. Since then I have only come here. I don't get my nails done often but I appreciate good customer service and quality work when I do. I get a gel manicure and the price is around same as other places. The employees are friendly and I get so many compliments on my nails! Great salon!

absolutely worst nail salon i have ever been too. do not waste your time here!!!!!! i have been to so many nail salons in san diego and this one has been the worst, the nail polish is not even with a smudge on my big toe and the last 3 toes were just done so horrible i have nail polish smudge around my skin. worst experience i have had

I came here for the first time yesterday and I will definitely be back! The salon is easy to find, plenty of parking and right next to a 99 Ranch Market! I had made an appointment online with ease and was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. The salon is clean, trendy and has a huge projector in front of the pedicure massage chairs. I was in for a Hard-gel change and was paired with Ivin He was patient while I picked out the color that I wanted and offered input when I asked for help. He removed my old gel and set me up with a brand new set and cleaned up my cuticles. The price was reasonable for all the work he did. I am so pleased with them- so perfect!

I got a gel manicure a few years ago when they first opened. I’m back in San Diego and I went remembering they had excellent service. This still holds true! The tech did an amazing job and her work was done with such patience, gentleness, and diligence. I got a Gel-X mani along with hybrid lash extensions in cat eye design. The lashes feel very comfortable and look beautiful! I’ve gotten so many compliments on both these things, will definitely be going back :)

The convenience of this place closing late is the best thing 10 out of 10. All the ladies are amazing, super nice and friendly. Prices are great and I will not go anywhere else.
