I’ve been coming to Apotheca since it opened and, for years prior, had been coming to Steffan. The salon is great and I especially love the special, zen shampoo room! Most relaxing shampoo room ever!! The low lights, and effects, provide a wonderful atmosphere that truly is a highlight of the spa-like experience! It’s my favorite part!!!!

I highly recommend Apotheca to anyone looking for a quality hair care experience. JJ has been so helpful in teaching me care methods for my long hair and helping me to maintain the length and layers that I love! This is a great place! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. The salon is professionally maintained and parking was easy. Chloe did a great job on my curly hair. It was a huge change in length and I got a lot of compliments at home and work. I fell ill recently and after a feverish night I was surprised at how presentable I looked in the morning. They help you with styling but you just can’t beat a good classic cut. Thanks guys!

2nd experience with Apotheca Salon and was still less than stellar... I booked a special they were doing thinking it was with a stylist new to their team, not new to hair altogether and if that's the case, she should've had a mentor the 1st time, but they didn't offer that until I was going to go back to get the uneven layers in front fixed. I had called and spoke to Owner right after I left because it had already taken an hour longer than what I was told on the phone so I had to hurry (let's note it took 2.5hrs for a wash and cut, maybe 4inches length wise, layers and thinning), my hair is thick but not that thick. I talked with her and was told to text later when I figured out how it felt or looked later because I could tell it felt really thin in the back (because the front wasn't even). I set up the fix for 7pm Friday, then realized this morning when I washed and dried it that I really needed it done earlier so I text them to see about potentially rescheduling for this evening, then they responded and I was made aware that Dani would still be fixing my hair but with a mentor watching, after I was told that, 3min later I responded and told them nevermind and that I would be canceling altogether because I wasn't made aware that was how it was going down. The owner had made it seem I would be texting/booking with her. They then immediately sent me a form to pay a cancellation fee and didn't respond to my message or complaint at all. No I'm sorry for the confusion, nothing. I would also like to note I still tipped her $35 on a $25 haircut because I'm too nice and she still spent 2.5hrs doing my hair so didn't seem right. But I won't be returning. The customer service is atrocious. Attached pics of uneven front sections and inspo pics I had used. Still short layers in the front outside of the no bang request.

Chloe is the best! If it was not for her not only would my hair be a disaster…I would never relax or pamper myself. From the warm tea, massage chair, scalp massage and moisturizing hand treatment it is truly a treat spending time with Chloe and the fabulous team at Apotheca.

I wanted to do a transformative haircut going super short. Monse pulled it off amazingly for me and has been doing my upkeep as well! Monse is also really easy to talk to, and when I've had bad experiences wanting the haircut I wanted at other places I was judged heavily. Not here, and not with Monse! 🤗 Love coming here. It's always a great experience and I look forward to coming back for more services in the future. ☺️

I called the owner looking for help on Halo’s and he was so nice , referred me to JJ who was such a pleasure to work with, I found my new stylist. Not only was he able to help me with something not normally done at the salons but they were all so nice and accommodating. I will be back!!’ Go see JJ… or says a lot I’m writing a review as well.. I may have only given 2 in my life which shows how impressed I was by the experience.

Dani was awesome! The whole experience was so relaxing and refreshing. You can tell they really care about their clients here. Past the cut, there were a multitude of drink options and free services to indulge in. I had a great time and would love to come back!

I got a cut for my curly hair and a hair spa treatment done by Bella. The care I received literally brought me to tears. I have lived with trichotillomania the majority of my life. I feel insecure about being judged so I avoid getting my hair trimmed because of a history with stylists telling me I need to stop pulling my hair. (If only it was that simple.) I had called the salon before booking the appointment to make sure the stylist had worked with someone with trich and would be sensitive to me. Bella’s touch was so gentle, intentional and slow in a very soothing way. She didn’t rush through the process and that allowed me to really sink into feelings of gratitude and safety within the vulnerability that came up for me. I felt so safe and at ease. Thank you so much, Bella! 💚 The entire service was a comforting and lovely experience. I had a complimentary tea, and a cooling eye treatment. I was given a warm neck wrap while getting the hair spa service in an ambient lit room with a massage tool for my lower back. I was delighted to hear the salon is a very eco-friendly spa that gives back to the communities they work with. I absolutely recommend this business and will definitely be back.

Monse is amazing. I went for a hair cut and then later for an all over dye. They are very welcoming and made me feel at ease. I had been cutting and dyeing my hair at home for a while and Monse was able to explain the current condition of my hair, what they planned to do, and the results of the process. I like to dye my hair red and there are always variations of red and I like to be more copper/red than pink/purple red and they were able to achieve my hair goals. As well as recommend products to maintain my hair health afterwards. 10/10 will be going here & seeing monse from now on.

My hair was looking dull and stringy! But Danielle Mendez was awesome and gave me a haircut and a hair treatment made my hair look so shiny and healthy! Thank you, Danielle you are awesome!! Truly, a lifesaver to my hair!!
