Abby Johnson is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had! I have been seeing her regularly for 5 months now and she has transformed my bangs and the shape of my hair. She is very talented at blowouts and I get so many compliments after she does my hair! Abby is professional, super friendly and always flexible with appointment times. I feel lucky to have found her! Arabella salon is also a gorgeous space to get your hair done :).

Abby is a color master and absolute gem of a hair designer! She matched my natural color to a T then took my shade to its full potential of vibrancy. I’m so pleased with my cut and color, I don’t know what I would do without her!

About six years ago I was given an “unfortunate” cut at another salon and I randomly chose to visit Arabella for help. I’m so glad I did! Miša worked a miracle that day and she’s been my stylist ever since. She is a talented artist outside the salon, and her skills are evident in the way she transforms hair. I’m a senior with fine, thinning, curly hair and I always walk away from Arabella with a cut that is flattering, modern, and works with my curls to make my hair appear fuller than it really is. Best of all, her cuts grow out so nicely that even if I delay my appointment my hair still looks good. I get lots of compliments on my curls, and I think that’s because Miša listens so well and also makes suggestions based on what she knows will work for me and my hair. I’ve also seen a few other stylists at Arabella, and have always been very happy with the results. The salon is super clean, very bright and airy, and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. It’s a relaxing experience from the minute I walk in.

I had been going to the same hair dresser for 16 years and I felt bad cheating on her with a new salon but wanted to find a place closer to me. I had heard a lot about Arabella from others so decided to give it a try. I am now hooked! I love the salon. Not only did my new hair dresser give me an amazing cut, but the color is exactly what I wanted. I love it! The salon itself is also just an amazing place with friendly people and gorgeous plants hanging from the ceiling. I have been a client of Deanna’s (and Arabella) since 2007. I am told frequently that I have great hair, to which I reply that I have a highly trained professional (and friend. I feel like I can call her that after 17 years) that keeps it this way. She is talented and always improving her skills. The salon is beautiful with a natural aesthetic. The living ceiling is amazing. You have to see it to appreciate it. I love the Davines product line used in the salon and their commitment to sustainability. Simply put, I love Arabella Salon, and Deanna!

I have been frequenting this salon for a number of years now and love it! The stylists are all very friendly and welcoming the second you walk in the door. It is obvious that the establishment is well run as everyone is happy and the salon is extremely clean and fresh. Míša cuts and colors my hair and I can’t say enough about her skills. She is communicative and always asks how I like my last cut/color and if there is anything I would suggest to enhance my satisfaction. We often talk over new approaches and looks to fit the seasons, my moods and/or circumstances. She is extremely skilled with the scissors and applying color and keeps up to date with styles. I always get compliments regarding my “look”.

This salon in itself is an adorable, warm and welcoming space. But Abby really made my experience stand out. She is always friendly and personable and understands what I'm looking for and how it can work best with my hair. I came for the salon, but stay for Abby's work.

This salon is so awesome. There's so much natural light that comes in. My stylist is a miracle worker. She's amazing. My hair always looks so shinny and healthy. They use my favorite products. Honestly, everyone that leaves that place looks so good. I'd trust any stylist at Arabella to do my hair.

I have been going to Arabella for almost 5 years and always love the welcoming atmosphere. I typically see Míša who is an amazing colorist and is always up for all my wild ideas. She does a great job of really listening to what I want and asking clarifying questions to better understand. If Míša is out for some reason, I’m comfortable seeing any of their talented stylists. I feel their prices are extremely fair for the quality of their services and hair products that they use.

I have been going to Arabella for seven years. The haircuts, coloring and blow dry/styling is always consistent and perfect. All of the hairdressers are personable, professional and wonderful. The salon is pretty and inviting. I would not hesitate to make an appointment at Arabella.

I love Arabella salon and Misa. The salon has a very wonderful creative atmosphere. As a 50 something woman with super curly hair, I feel seen and heard. Misa is such a great listener. I'm so happy with my haircut and coaching she provided on how to style my hair ☺️. I have a new updated style and it feels like me! Visiting this salon and Misa feels like a hug. I also love that the salon uses high quality products and actively works to enact sustainability. Misa is a Professional, well trained, kind and fun hair artist. ❤️🥰

I’ve been going to Arabella since I moved here four years ago. My stylist back home used Davines products so I was looking for a salon here that did. I booked with Caitlin and I have been here ever since! Caitlin and the entire staff are so wonderful. They listen, and make educated suggestions. They are up to date on current trends, but also take time to understand their clients hair and what would work best for them. I always leave the salon feeling amazing!

I’ve been going to Misa for a few years now. She’s always offered great suggestions and is one of the few people that knows how to cut my properly. On top of that, she’s excellent company and is the primary reason I look forward to my haircut every month. I can’t recommend her enough!

I’ve lost track of how many years I’ve been coming to Arabella, but it’s been at least a decade! I love that it’s consistently sparkling clean with friendly staff and stylists plus a super pleasant atmosphere-skylights, plants and a sweet rooftop deck. I’ve been seeing Míša for around five years and always look forward to my appointments because she’s so much fun AND I know I’m going to leave looking great! She is the best!

Need a great haircut from a stylist that listens? Need a stylist that can give you a partial weave that perfectly melts into your hair, giving you much needed dimension while also looking completely natural? Want to go completely blonde in a shade that doesnt wash you out or completely fry your hair? You have been that salon for me, my mother and my brother! I cannot speak highly enough of Megan for her years of putting up with my ever changing hair color and styling. I also give 5 stars to their salon's cleanliness and impeccable vibes. I drive from deep Beaverton to get my hair done and it is worth it every time. I have had many coworkers and friends start to use this salon for their cut and color needs. You dont disappoint!

When my stylist of 10 years moved to Idaho I cried. I didn't think anyone else could tackle my curly hair. I got Megan's number from a friend. To my surprise and delight Megan is magic! Not only does she do a phenomenal job cutting and coloring my hair, she is SO MUCH FUN! I always look forward to my time on the chair with Megan and I'm happy to drive 30 minutes to see her! The cherry on top is that everyone in the place is so kind, open, and friendly! Can't say enough about this place! Thank you, Arabella Salon!!

Had my 1st appmt with Abby and I am a fan for life! I shared some hesitations/concerns with her up front and she 100% put me at ease and was so kind and reassuring. She gave me an honest consult and a perfect cut and style. She just...knew what I needed. The salon was gorgeous, easy to find, and a super welcoming atmosphere, too. If you hate getting your hair cut like me, Abby and Arabella Salon will change that!

Deanna at Arabella is a hair sorceress! Especially for my very curly (and sometimes not curly) texture. She knows how to engineer a cut that works in multiple conditions (curly / straight / humid / air dry or blow dry) and is built to last so that I don’t have to cut TOO too often. She fixed up my home DIY color with zero shaming me for buying drugstore color. I entrusted her with a whole new look — going from blah longish no bangs hair to a new french bob that is sexy and cool. The salon itself is a hidden gem… hip and very clean, and they sell great products but never pushy on selling them. I am only hesitant to recommend because I want Deanna all to myself, but it would be bad karma not to share the good word about Arabella Salon.

I am at the salon often for color-it’s an investment in time and money, and I’m really happy to go to a place that feels welcoming, nurturing, and beautiful. I love the space-exposed brick, lots of natural light and beautiful plants everywhere. Deanna the owner is lovely and Caitlin who I see for cut and color is fantastic-always taking time with my treatment, I’ve seen people in the past where it’s felt rushed every time, and I’ve never felt that way, even though she’s fully booked and I’m often five minutes late. I also love the loose leaf tea they offer, fun music, and really great commitment to recycling many different types of materials. Thanks, Arabella!!

Deanna is amazing. She is the only person to touch my hair? And my daughter’s hair in the last 15 years. She is a master hairstylist & colorist who has been trained locally and in Europe. She cares deeply about her clients, and the impact her business and products have on the community. I highly recommend her and Arabella Salon!

I have been coming to Arabella Salon in Portland Oregon for years now, and I can’t recommend them more. I am always happy with my hair cut and color service, and the blow out at the end is to die for. The Davines product line they use not only smells wonderful, but works great with my hair, and is sustainably produced. One of the highlights of my visits here are the plants that fill the space, giving it the best calming vibes…highly recommend!

Her Haircuts & highlights, to straightening my curls or enhancing them… she’s amazing! Everyone treats you like family there and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing.

Deanna was my hair stylist before Arabella. I remember when she told me she was making a move from a salon close to my house to one across town. I couldn’t imagine driving across town to get my hair done, but I really couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my hair. Deanna is irreplaceable! Years later, I enjoy the drive into a different neighborhood, I love the vibe of the salon, I love catching up with Deanna and most importantly I always love how she styles my hair!
