I’ve been having my hair cut here with Chan Cox and it’s been great. Chan is a true professional with decades of experience. Archive is a nice place with friendly staff. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice haircut at a nice establishment. It wont break the bank either- my men’s haircuts are only $50-$60.

Chan is the best stylist ever. I have a somewhat unorthodox haircut and many stylist's in the past have struggled to do a good job (like really struggled). But not Chan, he's a true pro. He always gives me a great haircut. I recently moved to Wisconsin. I seem to drive back to Chicago about once a month. I tell myself I do this in order to visit friends and loved ones... but deep down I know the truth. I drive the two hours for the haircut!

I have been getting my hair cut by Elise for over 5 years now and there is no one else I would rather go to. She does a great job and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She has worked at this salon for over 15 years and when Halo (previous establishment name) was about to close, Elise found a way to keep everyone working by taking on the responsibility of owning and running the salon rebranded as Archive. Just an A+ individual all-around.

Very friendly staff and great conversations while getting the hair cut done. Like the work they did neat and clean. Pre cut shampoo was good complimentary service. Didn't have to wait at all. I walked in, and got attended. When back in town can definitely visit again.

Not all of the people that work there are good at cutting men’s and boys hair. My cutter cut my hair fine and how I asked, but the person that was cutting my brothers hair didn’t. She didn’t listen to anything my brother said and made the haircut very uneven. Now we have to go to another place just to fix the haircut she gave my brother.
