Simply the best! I have been a client at Arco for many years and truly no other salon has come close to the experience Arco offers. From the moment you walk through the door until you step out… the beauty and simplicity of the space matched with no harsh chemical smells leaves you with a peaceful self-care experience. I have consistently received beautiful blonde highlights for a decade while maintaining the health of my hair. They personalize my blonde to perfection so I have the natural beach blonde hair that I love so much. They are experts. Gary is a hair magician and has really mastered the hair salon experience. Arco is a gem.

Love my stylist at Arco, Brittany, who is my new hair magician. I’m pretty picky about looking as natural as possible, not over processing or having hairlines, making things high maintenance. I met her after a bit of a highlight disaster and so lucky to have found such as skilled stylist! Also Gary, owner/also great stylist, is so concientious about the products being organic (think no smelly chemicals), environment lovely, and the hair steamers are amazing touch Top notch everything, yes, yes, yes!

Geneva is awesome. Love my Ringo Starr look. Feels like imma lead in the next Wes Anderson film. All seriousness, they’re great. A little pricey, but freaking great. Also, not that pricey for nyc.

I've been going to ARCO for about a year now and Alex and Geneva have both cut my hair. I love the whole experience, but the steam bath with essential oils for your hair? WOW. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff and I love their products.

I have no words to describe my amazing experience at ARCO! I drove 2.5 hours with hopes of finally getting the color I have been obsessing over for three years—it was worth every traffic jam and road rage aggravation, lol!! From the second I walked in, I felt more than welcome! What a beautiful atmosphere! Gary was very meticulous every step of the way—my expectations were exceeded! Gary and the staff are beyond phenomenal! Looking forward to many more visits!

I was in town visiting a friend and desperately needed a blowout. I searched in the area for good salons and the selling point for ARCO is that they also do scalp treatments! I saw Geneva and she was kind and professional and provided a great experience. I was offered a beverage and the hot green tea I had hit the spot on a chilly day! It seemed everyone who worked there had lovely energy and I was very comfortable. The space was also beautiful. My scalp felt so tingly fresh afterwards and my blowout was *chef’s kiss.* Overall I definitely recommend!

the best hair salon experience ever! i'm obsessed with this place, and it's officially become my new hair care home. my stylist is geneva!! the amount of care & time she took to manage and do my hair was exceptional, she's the best and i'm so happy to continue my hair journey with her. the atmosphere and interior is stunning and screams luxurious, i enjoyed some peppermint tea (they offer a few beverage options) as well and the hair products smell amazing and worked wonders on my 4c hair. all organic and plant based which is exactly what i need for a sensitive scalp like mine!!!!

ARCO New York is my favorite (and only) place I get my hair done in Brooklyn. They are honestly better than a lot of Manhattan salons in terms of quality, ambiance and overall experience. Gary and his team really are the best, and I always come out of there looking and feeling better than I did before. If you haven't been yet, they are also a head spa and do amazing scalp steam treatments customized to what your hair needs. Definitely recommend doing a scalp treatment with whatever you are doing that day--once you do, you will see what has been missing for your life.

ARCO New York is the best!! I had a deep conditioning and steam treatment with a blowout and I absolutely love the results. It was very relaxing, especially with an accompanying glass of wine. Alex did an amazing job, and she is very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this salon.

Geneva never disappoints. She did mine and my daughters hair and we all LOVE IT. My daughters doesn’t shed not 1 tear when Geneva hands are in their hair. Lol. Leaves us with the most volume and bounce that we absolutely love. Thank you so much Queen 🥰

I can't say enough good things about ARCO and the people who work there. Not to mention the quality of the work they do. The place is modern and clean, designed beautifully. Even safety is considered - specially designed chairs to avoid stroke risk (google it, it's a thing!). My story in brief: I had an unfortunate incident with boxed highlights. Like, really unfortunate. Not only did they give me a same day consultation and a glass of wine to ease my angst, Gary stayed late to fix me. I showed him a few pictures of my before and a couple of hours later I was back to me. I couldn't believe it! Gary is a true artist. He is kind, friendly and talented, and a great business person. I highly recommend ARCO and will forever be grateful to them...and, I am now a loyal client!

NOT a PPD free salon!!! Plant based PPD is still PPD!! If you have a PPD allergy, don’t use any of the dye. I did tell them ahead of time and mentioned it in past visits too. I needed steroids for 7 days after a hospital visit. I looked like Hitch, scalp full of seborrheic dermatitis, intense headache, and constant itching that doesn’t go away for weeks. The vibe and staff were nice but not worth a serious allergic reaction and overpaying for it. Not to mention I had a burn in the middle of my head like I got a perm which was from improper straightening and have burn marks from the dye as well. Stick to the blowout and invigorating serum treatment with steam. I really liked this salon so it’s sad this happened but PPD is a serious allergy.

On a recent trip to NYC, I went to this salon to cover my grey roots and to get my hair in shape. Gary is one of the best hairdressers I’ve met in my life, and I’ve seen quite a few. He transformed my dry, damaged hair into silky and soft waves. It’s been 2 weeks since my visit yet my hair still feels soft, thicker and much healthier. In short, it’s a luxury hair salon with the gurus that will turn your hair luxuriant. ❤️

Acro New York is officially my favorite hair salon! The studio is sleek with a modern interior, yet its warm aura is inviting, not to mention the exceptional guest service. My son celebrated his birthday with a spa-like treatment for his kinky curly hair. By the time his exquisite stylist, Gary, was done my son's hair went from dull parched curls to luscious and lively! I watched as he carefully treated his hair with care while making my teenage son feel at ease. After this I'm ready to book my first appointment and my son's second...there's no turning back and quite frankly there is no better place!

I’ve loved going to ARCO for cut & color. I’ve gone to Gary for full color & highlights and Geneva for a roof touch up and both did a fabulous job. The salon is beautiful, recently renovated. They have great products, and also do a really soothing steam/aromatherapy treatment when washing your hair. I’ve had a lot of compliments on my hair color, and have felt it’s a lot healthier since I’ve been going there.
