BEST SALON EVER! Marie cuts my hair and she did a great job. My hair wasn’t exactly what I wanted and as soon as I reached out they were extremely responsive and took it upon themselves to have me come in next day and corrected it. Free of charge! I LOVE my hair now and it’s a great way to run a business. They are truly a company that cares about customers and want them to feel their best. Will stay loyal to Arisa!!! Thank you again!!!

I have been seeing MArie for a haircut for a bit now. She is very talented and knows my hair and what I would be happy with. I have followed her to NYC. It was a great experoence and woudl do it again. The salon is inviting and all the girls are great! Loved it and am very happy with my hair!

I love this place! Kat is amazing and gave me the haircut and blowout of my dreams. She’s a super knowledgeable stylist and asked me detailed questions to ensure the best possible end result. The rest of the staff is very friendly and salon is kept clean and has a welcoming ambiance.

Arisa hair is a really cool and down to earth spot. I wouldn't call it a basic salon...it's an experience! The owners are wonderful and really take the time out to get to know their clients and their needs. I may not be the demographic that needs to go to a salon or a barbershop but I have sent some of my friends there and all they do is rave about the place. The owners, Sarah and Kat are class acts and I can guarantee you will have a great experience and will leave ready for whatever event you have planned. Their talents are unmatched. Check them out.

Arisa Hair is an absolute GEM!! They make you feel at home the second you walk through the door and like you’re hanging with friends you’ve known for 10 years. Mel Rose absolutely nailed my haircut and her blowout was *chefs kiss* perfection (curly girls know how hard it is to get a blowout that is truly sleek and doesn’t frizz 5 min later). If you need a salon, this is your place!

It’s interesting that the bio says kindness above all else because I popped in on Friday when the salon was nearly empty because I’m 5 months pregnant and needed a restroom and the owner turned me away and said I can go to the Starbucks down the street. I was honestly shocked especially because I just moved to the area and am looking for a new hair salon, guess I will be taking my money elsewhere. It’s a shame because the salon was beautiful and I’m sure the stylists do great work.

I am a curly girl that has been a client of Leah for a long time. She is one of those stylist that becomes so essential to your life that you follow her wherever she goes and I have! When she decided to open up Arisa with her business partner and friend I was all in. She is amazing as a stylist and person. I moved out of NY and still travel from CT to Manhattan for a cut and the best blowout a curly girl can ever have. It lasts and I always get so many compliments. If you take anyway from this review it is book with Leah immediately. Straight, curls, waves, whatever you have book!!!!!

I’ve gone to Kat for over 10 years now- following her from salon to salon. She does the absolute best with color and styling! She’s always looking out for what looks best with my face and life style- I trust her completely! Since opening Arisa, I’ve made the trek here from the UES and it’s worth the effort. The salon is beautiful, welcoming and feminine. Everyone there is lovely to be around and makes the whole experience special. Can’t recommend enough!

I came in on a whim after having struggled with my original NYC stylist for a bit. I had “hot roots” and a mess of permanent dye and highlights and Kat absolutely transformed my hair! Not only does it look natural and amazing, but Kat made sure she set my expectations and gave me a plan to get exactly where I want my hair to be in the coming appointments. To add to it Leah and Kat will truly make you feel like a super model - everyone in the salon is happy and upbeat and the energy is contagious. I’ll never go anywhere else for my hair now!

A TRUE GEM IN CHELSEA! Words cannot express how much I adore this salon! From the staff to the atmosphere, everything is just perfection! Leah is a goddess and so talented! She truly understands how hair works and guides you through your entire color and cut appointment! She is thorough and detail oriented! She transformed my brassy color to the most beautiful shade of blonde! Leah makes everyone of all hair types feel so welcomed and have such an incredible salon experience. I was skeptical about lightening my dark hair, but my bayalage came out PERFECT. It came out so much more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. It’s been 6 months and it still looks great. I get so many compliments! I live in Florida, but I’m flying back up just to have my hair touched up because I don’t trust anywhere else with my hair.

Mel is amazing! I'm growing out my pixie cut and a barber completely messed up my hair. She saved it without losing too much length, and cut it in a way that will grow out easier. The place is super cute too.

My go to salon! Sarah has been cutting my hair for 8 years and I have always been happy when I leave the salon. The prices are great for Manhattan, and I have always been satisfied with the service. I’ve finally found my HG spot to go to when it comes to hair. I highly recommend!

Arisa hair salon is a true gem in Chelsea, and it’s by far the best place to get your hair done in NYC. The inside of the salon has a relaxing spa vibe. Leah S Rona has been my go-to hair savior for 2 years now. She is magician with balayage, highlights, cut and style. She has saved my hair from previous hair disasters from other salons, and now helps me maintain flawless lewks. I 100% trust Leah with my hair, and you can, too. Also her warm heart and contagious positive energy make the experience so enjoyable. I always look forward to my hair appointments at Arisa!

By far my Favorite hair salon! Your stylist will always make sure you are knowledgeable on what exactly they are doing in the process. I always learn something different about the work I get done. I change my hair A LOT! They are super clean, and efficient with time. I grew up going to hair salons that have you there for 5+ hours for just a cut and blow dry. Not these ladies!

This place is a sweet escape! After having my hair completely ruined by several other hairstylist in Manhattan, I finally found my new home! Not only is this salon super warm and comfortable and on the cutest street... they (Leah specifically) saved my hair!! Check out the before and after photos for proof. Thank you so much Leah for taking the SIX hours and multiple steps needed to safely give me a gorgeous, natural/melted look without causing damage do my fragile hair. You earned a client for life!
