Tatsuya is absolutely the BEST! Tatsuya is incredibly attentive to detail and communicates exceptionally well. Absolutely Recommend!!! During my first visit for a haircut, we had a thorough discussion about the desired length, style, and bangs. The haircut itself was a masterpiece! Given my thick hair, he expertly designed a layered cut with a beautiful butterfly effect, and I've received compliments. The true highlight was the Spa hair treatment. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable hair spa experience I've ever had. My hair felt incredibly soft and smooth afterwards! Two weeks later, I returned for highlights and color. Tatsuya patiently discussed my preferences for the thickness of the highlights and the desired color. I expressed my hope for long-lasting color, and he thoughtfully added an extra layer of tone. Initially, it appeared darker, but after a few washes, the true color emerged with vibrant brightness and shine – exactly what I was looking for!

Amazing! Appointment scheduling was easy via an Instagram message. The salon is bright, inviting, minimalist. Tatsuya is friendly and upbeat, but not chatty during the cut since he's focused. He starts by getting an idea of how you style your hair, part it, any pictures for inspiration, then he makes some suggestions to see if goes with what you have in mind. He has a hair spa room, not sure if he does this every visit, but first visit the hair wash/head massage was amazing. It was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. He finished the wash/massage with heated towels around the base of your neck and top of forehead. The cut itself was precision, he definitely takes care and attention to making sure everything is even on both sides and that the layers fall perfectly. First he does the cut wet, blow dries the hair, then finishes the cut details while the hair is dry. He also gave me some styling tips as well along the process. He even offers to curl your hair at the end if you wish. He definitely undercharges for his services relative to quality of the wash and cut. It's so difficult to find a stylist to cut Asian hair. So happy to find ARK LV and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

I got a really cool hairstyle here! I can highly recommend this place. Also, his shampooing skills are amazing—so relaxing that I almost fell asleep.

Tatsuya is the best hairdresser in town! Japanese hair salon straight from shinjuku. Haircut also includes wash and shampoo. He knows what he is doing and does suggestions on what looks good. He has alot of experience.

My daughter got her haircut from a lady and she didnt like it and she look amd found this salon hes very good tatsuya knows what hes doing definitely going to get her haircut here now
