Finally found a place that does actual Eastern cupping! It's in the heart of Mira Mesa and I got a one hour massage with Julie! She got all my tight spots. And 30 min cupping. I already feel so much "lighter" as we Asians say. Second time back with the tension in my neck got a 90 min thank you Julie & Sophia! Basically ALMOST got the knot out! Feels so much better.

I just had the most incredible massage experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming, and the therapist was professional and attentive. They focused on all the right areas, releasing tension I didn’t even realize I had. The pressure was perfect, and the techniques felt so soothing yet effective. Today was my second time going there. Genuinely feel so relaxed and at ease after my massage with Hannah. She focused on my neck, shoulders and lower back per my request and she did just that. The place is clean and well-maintained and the pricing is fair. My 90 minute massage was $95 + the tip. I’m planning on going again next month as a self-care treat. Thanks Ark Spa!

Best massage I've had in awhile...Coco & Julie gave my mom & I amazing foot massages with just the right amount of pressure. I dozed off a couple times out of relaxation. I definitely recommend & will come back!!!

I had an amazing experience at this massage salon! The place was incredibly clean and professional, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Sofia, my massage therapist, was exceptionally kind and skilled. She made me feel comfortable right away, and her technique was perfect—I walked out feeling like a brand new person! Highly recommend this place, and Sofia is fantastic!

Highly recommend the Thai massage here. i get one every month more or less. Sophia and Eva are the ones who’ve done the Thai massage for me so far and they are great. If you tell them what body part you want them to focus on, they do a great job of massaging that part. I didn’t realize I had knots from carrying around my toddler but that was pointed out to me so now I’m going to switch around my arms to keep the knots away. The stretching during the Thai massage is my absolute favorite. Didn’t know stretching could feel so good haha. They also used hot stones during the massage which was great. Highly recommend, absolutely worth the money!

I have been going to this spa for around 2.5 years every weekend. Sofia is my favourite. All other staff working here do great massage too. I workout often and being an IT guy back pains are common. This place helps me refresh every weekend and helps me kickstart the week. I have been to many massage places but this is the best I have been to. People are actually professional. They are good at what they do. I highly recommend this place. Please help yourself checking out this place.

It is sad how this place went downhill. There is an unbelievable turnover, new girls show up all the time, about monthly, then leave. There are new ones - who speak zero English and obviously have no skills. Rare good ones manage to stay a short period, then bail out of there asap. Does the owner ever stop to think why? Total waste of time and money. Avoid.-------------- UPDATE - the spa replied to my review, claiming I am not a customer. Let's see, if I am not their customer, how would I know that Cici, Julie and Lisa did NOT work there last 9 months - far from it. They started 3-4 months ago. What the owner is conveniently failing to mention is that in the past 6 months Amy, Lilly, Judy, Eva and Maggie ALL quit their jobs and escaped out of there. The owner is constantly catching up, desperately bringing in new girls, who stay a few months and quit. Loyal customers are baling out too, because nobody wants to perpetually get used to all the new masseuses. Or, could it be - just guessing here - that the manager's treatment is making these girls quit and find other spas to work at. Yes, that is it. So, quit your drama about God and punishment and hire a better manager who will treat customers and the girls with more appreciation. Repeat business is the only way to go, buddy.

My 1st ever facial was completed by Sophia ❤️ I was trying to kill some time after work and thought, why not treat myself...I was grateful Sophia fit me in as a walk-in and had a nice clean room ready in minutes. I watch alot of Facial ASMR on you tube and I got exactly the same level of service I've seen in videos...which was nice that I kinda knew what to expect in the process...She was gentle and kind...I definitely will make this part of my self care routine...I only had a hr but next time I'm going for 90 minutes.

My honest review of Ark Massage Spa Time flies. My wife and I have been at Ark Massage Spa for over a year now. Our first visit was on Feb. 19, 2023 when they are reopened after the pandemic. Actually we had been at the same location for many years with the previous owner. Overall we are very satisfied with the current owner, their professional staff and well trained technical skills. They know the meridians of human body, give a deep and accurate tissue massage, whether you have a back pain, shoulder un-comfy or neck sore, after the massage, you feel a freshness. I have to admit that Sofia, who is a manager, but more important she is a certified massage technician. Every single time we only ask for Sofia and Amy for combo massage service. We are so glad to having them and the best wishes for Ark Massage Spa.

This was my first visit to ARK spa. Fabulous place. Very clean, organized and fantastic service. Sophia at the front desk is the best. She also does facials and his very accomplished. The facial I got today was fantastic! You can't go wrong and I'll be back soon.

Very clean and roomy place. It has many private rooms. 3 of us had full body massage by 3 masseurs who were superb, professional, and caring. We left with more than satisfied smiles. Definitely will come back.

In San Diego for business with my wife—we had some time to kill and she suggested foot massages. I can dig it, so we drove down the road to Ark Spa. I had no idea what to expect, but man, I was so pleasantly surprised (though I shouldn't have been...all the positive reviews are spot on)! We decided on the 60-minute foot massage, though the staff member suggested the foot / back combo and they were probably right. Both my wife and I were able to be in beds next to each other which was nice. I expected just a foot massage, but we got way more than that, including (over the clothes) massages on the back, arms, head, face, hands, etc. They went way above and beyond!!! My body is broken from sports so I get massages quite often, typically at a monthly-subscription chain but also high end hotels, spas and more. Most are hit or miss. Ironically some of the worst experiences came at the most expensive / high end hotel/spas. This was one of the best spa experiences I've ever had!! While only 60-minutes, I swear they treated us for longer. The price absolutely can't be beat for the service and to top it off, the staff was so nice. We were just there today and we're already trying to figure out if we can make it back after working our event tomorrow. I only wish this place was back where we live!!

This was my second visit to Ark and I decided I wanted to write something. Not only I am a picky massage customer, but more importantly, I know how to choose a good service. Why do you get massages? Have you ever asked yourself that? Just relax, find a quiet place, treat yourself, maybe. The real meaning of massage is to check your body, detoxify, and maintain a normal balance of immune function. This is the purpose of my massage. If you have the patience to read the ancient Chinese medical books, you will understand the principle I said. I don't want to give my body a problem and take a bunch of chemical pills and damage the rest of my organs. I want to prevent physical problems, so I make sure to get a massage once a month at my current age, and if you are over 50, you can better than twice a month! You may ask how do you know which part of your body is in bad condition? When a qualified technician massages your body, some places will hurt, some places relax, the painful place is where you are obstructed, you have to use massage to discharge body toxins, keep drinking warm water after massage. The masseuses of Ark not only meet the qualified standards of massage for body acupuncture points, but the most important thing is that I have come here twice to change different masseuses, they all have the focus to serve customers. When I was being massaged, the masseuse‘s hands was speaking to my body. I was not perfunctory service, but a professional and attentive service. So I highly recommend this store, it is the overall good quality service, rather than a skilled massage. So I'll stick to this place and take care of my body parts. I forgot to mention that the facials are also amazing and I'm so satisfied that I don't have to run to another store to get my facial done, I can do it all at once! My fiancé and I had a great experience at Ark Massage! I am never able to relax or feel relaxed while getting a massage, but I felt so relaxed during my massage at Ark massage in Mira Mesa. They did a great job with certain areas I was concerned or held a lot of tension. We also got cupping treatment. Sophia was great and made us feel comfortable during the cupping treatment. She was very accommodating when scheduling us in. I highly recommend! 🤍🤍

My first time coming over here. They treat me like a VIP. I love my first massage. Super relaxing! I feel like so heaven. Sofia the manager give us tea. It was so delicious. My friend Shay refer me to this place. If you want to lost weight. Please come and try this Dr. FUJI weight loss machine. $20 for 15 minutes. It shakes your whole body and help you loss weight. Sophia and Daisy gave me and my boyfriend a couples massage on Christmas Eve, they took us in with a last minute reservation and everything was GREAT! The spa is very clean, serene, and relaxing. They are skilled at what they do and make you feel very comfortable. Would return again and again!

Super nice front desk and therapists, I have came here couple times. I tried with different therapists like Daisy and Sophia. Very professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEDED. I have done sports massage and swedish massage with them. So relexing and I feel so blessed they can treat my pain point. Come try it out.

The whole staff is great! Especially Sofia and Amy All therapists from my experience are very well trained. One of my best rewards for long hours of work is to come here to get a deep tissue massage! They are always super accommodating! This place is cleaned, they are professional, and I always look forward to the next t time!
