Arthur saved me from a hair disaster! I looked like my grandpa’s poodle after a bad haircut and highlights. My longtime stylist had moved away, and finding someone new was such a difficult transition—until I found Arthur. He took the time to go over the mess my hair was in and, after just two sessions, my hair was back to looking amazing! He truly does wonders with highlights—my brown hair with blonde highlights looks natural and gorgeous. What really impressed me was seeing his versatility. While I was under the dryer one day, a woman came in to show off her hair. She had dark hair and wanted it orange, and Arthur had nailed it—it was absolutely stunning. Beyond his talent, Arthur is kind and interesting, making every visit a pleasure. Thank you, Arthur, for bringing my hair back to life! 💇‍♀️✨

I had the most wonderful experience with Arthur! I have been trying to find the right person to cut and color my hair for a while and every person I have been to have left something to be desired but that all changed when I went to Arthur! His salon is comfortable and cute. We immediately began chatting like old friends the first time we met. And the hair cut and color was unmatched. I left the salon so happy with my cut and even a few months later it is growing out perfectly! I am thrilled to have found someone I can trust with my hair!

Highly recommend Arthur Sebastian! I have a bob haircut, and it is difficult to find someone who cuts bobs well. Arthur does an amazing job, I am extremely happy with my hair every time I leave.

Ive been to so many salons in SF trying to find someone who really listens to what I want and can nail the color I ask for and this was the first place that finally got it. Arthur Sebastian Hair Salon is the BEST! I’ve been to more hair salons than I can count and have had my hair colored and cut by so many different people. Arthur is the best colorist I’ve ever had. Arthur is an exceptional professional. He is extremely honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. And the fact that he is an amazing human being as well is a bonus. He has a fantastic personality, is so kind, and has great integrity. Arthur can handle complicated hair challenges which is rare. He is completely committed to making his clients happy and doing his best possible work for everyone. He has a beautiful boutique salon on Union Street in Cow Hollow. I went from long hair to just below the chin. I was pretty stressed, but Arthur knew how to make me relax, reassure me, and cut my hair step by step, asking each time if I liked it and if I was ready to continue. I recently got a haircut and ombre at this salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! The stylist did an amazing job making sure I loved my hair. Even with my red hair, he applied the ombre perfectly, and it looks fantastic. The attention to detail and care throughout the process was impressive. I love my hair!

Arthur Sebastian Salon is just what I’ve been looking for! The work on his website is gorgeous and it shows! While I’m a pretty simple client in that I’m low maintenance and am not getting color, yet, I am picky about my cut; how the hair falls, feels, frames my face, grows out, and looks with no effort. He hits all of my requirements. I went in after looking for someone online, decided to try him as his reviews and website were stellar, and I loved not only the work, but how easy it is to be in his chair and chat. Time flies with him and the results are spot on. I’ve been twice and officially consider myself his client.

I’ll preface this review by saying that I’m a harsh critic…and Arthur is the best! I’ve been to so many “blonde specialists” over the years and Arthur is truly a magician when it comes to blonde highlights. He is so detailed with his work and somehow is still faster than any other stylist I’ve ever worked with. You can tell that he is a true artist. He listens to exactly what you want and then executes your vision in a way that compliments your features. RUN, don't walk, to book an appointment with him!

Arthur is great! I cut my long hair off and went for a short pixie cut almost a year ago. I was so disappointed that the stylists I’d known for years had no idea how to cut and maintain woman’s short hair. I hesitated to book an appointment with Arthur because his salon is an hour drive from my house but he’s Worth the drive. He confidently cuts my short hair and isn’t afraid to try anything. I completely trust Arthur with my hair.

I’ve been going to Arthur for as long as I’ve lived in SF after moving here from NYC, and I will for as long as he is here. Haircuts from Arthur are always perfect and grow out nicely for months. He recently put in blue highlights (I have dark hair) and did an incredible job, it still looks fantastic 3 months later. He blended the roots which I’d never seen before and the attention to detail shows. There’s really no one else like him around, very highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Arthur enough! I had a specific vision with my hair and he worked with me to make it a reality. I was due for a haircut, and also wanted a refreshed balayage and some pink sections. Since it was my first time working with him, I was excited to see that he had past clients with bright colors in his portfolio. He went above and beyond with the cut and color, and took great care of my hair. The sections that were lightened / bleached ended up being exactly what I wanted to be able to creatively play with color. :)

Stellar Experience with Arthur Sebastian ! Second time I'm visiting Arthur Sebastian's salon for both coloration and a haircut, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of fantastic! When it came to coloration, Arthur truly showcased his mastery. The results were absolutely stunning - the color was vibrant, rich, and incredibly natural. What I appreciate the most is that the color lasted for months without losing its luster. As for the haircut, Arthur delivered a cute and stylish haircut that perfectly complemented my features. What sets Arthur apart is his genuine passion for his craft, he is not just a hair stylist he is a true artist. Needless to say I'll come back !
