If you want your hair to look bomb, trust me, you need to book with Shannon. Every single time I sit in her chair, I know I’m about to walk out with the best haircut ever. She’s a total wizard when it comes to color—like, how does she do it?! Not only does she slay every cut and color, but she takes the time to actually sit with me and talk through the process. She’s so thoughtful and makes sure I’m in the loop on all the details, from the colors to the technique. It’s clear she’s a total master at her craft.

I’ve been coming here for years but have to give a shoutout to Abby. She was very realistic and patient with my hair expectations while taking my wants and color history into account. Artisinal Hair Company is overall such a great place to feel beautiful while building connections and friendships with your stylist.

Love the shop and the stylists. Lots of personality and a very welcoming environment. The stylists are great and were even able to fit my daughter in last minute for her first haircut. Will definitely be going back!

Omg what an awesome place! Really loved my new hair stylist Colleen - she was so sweet and fun to talk to and did an amazing job! Also had so much fun hanging out with salon’s owner while i was in salon for several hours. I look so cute! 🥰 Thank you! Not only coming back but Already told my sister to switch her hairstylist too!

Shannon and Artisinal are the best! My child loves going to see Shannon for trims and always walks away with a fun, new style. The entire salon is open, welcoming, inclusive, and kind. Not to mention, Shannon does a killer job with my child's haircuts!!! I wish we had found Shannon and Artisinal sooner.

I see Shannon at Artisinal, she’s wonderful. She really listens and she consults with you about what you want your hair to look like. She is a true master of her craft and a lovely human being to talk to while you get your haircut also. I see her for curly cuts and it’s always a risk going to see a new curly cut person but Shannon is a great artist!

My first hair cut with Shannon was AWESOME. Not only did she teach me a little more about coloring, she listened to what I was looking for and delivered 100%! She also has a wonderful personality and made my New Years hangover much more tolerable. Thank you, Shannon!! :)

Love this place. Christian and staff are amazing. From outstanding cuts for me to the glow in my grandaughter''s eyes at the sight of her gorgeous braids and curls after Christian''s meticulous haircut, I can't recommend Artisinal more highly. My hair has a mind of it''s own, and Christian helps it behave! The entire staff is kind and attentive.

** UPDATE I reached out three times within 6 months without any follow up or help. I do not recommend this studio. Went here for a couple months. Liked how the hair came out in the chair but after about a week it always looked so dark. I thought that it was just me so I kept coming back to get it lightened. Even though I would pay for a full head of highlights there are still parts of my hair that looks like they haven’t been touched in months and my blonde looks brassy and dull (I have gone in once a month for the last 4 months for lightening and I have good home care) When expressing this to the stylist he wanted me to pay again, after being there just a week prior… Not a great experience, now I feel like I flushed money down the drain. Not to mention, he “forgot” to tell me about a price increase. If you are thinking about booking, I would recommend booking with the owner himself as he seems to know what he is doing.

Always really happy with my cuts there! They seem to keep losing stylists which is a little troubling. I'm hopeful management is treating them well. Every one I've seen has been very talented and personable. I've never had a bad hair experience. Love the ease of booking online and the convenient location keeps me coming back.

Definitely cut way more than I wanted to, and another hairdresser had to correct it later because it was crooked. I heard a lot of "oh no, what did you do to your hair?" afterwards. I'm not sure how they have so many positive reviews, but I'd never come back.

Natalie is the BEST and always makes me feel comfortable, safe to express, and excited to be switching up my hair. Natalie has worked incredibly hard and the results simply shine. I love Artisanal Hair Company.

Although the decor is somewhat nice in the salon with the plants it doesn’t make up for the lack of working stations/ broken chairs etc. The salon seems halfway decorated and halfway in construction at times. The atmosphere feels a bit strange… I’ve seen the owner he doesn’t seem to be the friendliest as he has never greeted me. I can tell that his employees don’t care for him, now finding out he doesn’t treat them well at all either. I don’t feel someone should be physically afraid of their boss when they go into work. Something seems a bit off there… I have noticed many of his stylists leave and go to Belleza Salon & Day Spa… (seems like my gut instinct with the owner was correct).. If you’re wondering where a stylist went that you used to see at Artisinal you may want to check in there ;) seems as though the owner is abusive to his staff & does not support them, if you’re reading this and want to support a business that loves their staff I definitely would NOT recommend Artisinal.

I will not let anyone except Abby cut or color my hair! She brought my damaged hair back to life with very flattering cuts that still retained length when I didn’t want to go short. Anytime I sit in her chair, I know I’m going to walk out with the most amazing & unique color ever. She is the only person I feel comfortable telling “Do whatever you want!” Thanks to Abby I’m always getting compliments on my hair 💁‍♀️

Needed my hair reblued. I was able to schedule an appointment by text and sent pics of what my hair was currently and ideas of what I wanted. Natalie was my stylist and she did an amazing job! Love how it turned out. She gave me a brighter blue to frame my face and the depth of color on the rest of it is so cool. The photos don't do it justice because I am a horrible photographer.

SHANNON ✨️ IS ✨️ MAGICAL✨️ No, seriously 🔮 she is. I moved to Maryland a year ago and was terrified of finding a new stylist considering my old one, I had for many years. I don't know if Shannon reads minds or what but I gave her a few words and boom; hair of my dreams. She is so amazing, friendly, and your biggest fan. 100/10.

Thomas always slays my hair. He does whatever I ask for, and he always delivers! I’m super thankful to have finally found someone I can trust with my hair since we moved to the area.

I went here for a hair cut once. I very clearly told Thomas, the hair stylist, that I want to keep the length of my hair and just want to trim my hair and add long layers. He shortened my hair by almost 5 inches. After cutting and styling my hair he told me, my hair just looks shorter but is actually not short. It is actually 5 inches shorter than before my hair cut. I don’t know much about the other stylists but I am not going there again.
