I had a wonderful experience at ARYA - Jacob is a master at what he does. I really love how my haircut looks. The salon is wonderful too - very high-end and gorgeous, felt like spa. 10/10 will go again for my next haircut!

Jacob was absolutely amazing! He was so flexible to work with and just an overall joy during the entire appointment. Also I love where we landed with my hair! I came in understanding that this might be a multiple appointment process but I never expected to walk out so happy with the first step. Update: Just saw Jacob for a haircut yesterday and he did an amazing job like always. It was great catching up and getting the haircut that I exactly wanted. Loveeeeee this place. Jacob was very nice and fixed this mop of mess I did during quarantine. Will go again 🥰

Jacob completely transformed my hair from copper red back to my natural blonde in ONE session and my hair still feels SO healthy. This man is a genius when it comes to difficult color transitions, I would trust him with my hair for life.

Jacob is such a fantastic colorist! I got a double process coloring from elsewhere that resulted in terribly brassy, orangish hair, and wanted it toned to a more natural brown to fit my skin tone. Jacob showed me different shades of toning that was available, communicated efficiently on what I wanted, and delivered the perfect result! The entire process took about 2 hours and was so smooth & comfortable :) Will definitely return in the future & highly recommend to others!

This guy is a hair wizard. I came in with thin, broken off and short hair and came out with beautiful, long and thick hair. He is also a very nice gentleman with a great sense of humor!

Amazing all around! I'd gotten a bad root/highlight service from a different salon and called Jacob to help rescue my hair. If you're looking for beautiful blonde (or any color, I'd imagine) hair, personalized service, and a great experience, I recommend this salon highly!

Jacob was an amazing hair dresser and stylist!! i went in with previously dyed hair that was too red of an undertone, and needed it adjusted ASAP! before and after pictures below! he made it the absolute perfect color all while chatting with me and walking me through the process. he’s so kind and funny and makes you feel so comfortable at his salon. i absolutely will go back again and will recommend him to all of my nyc friends!

Went to Arya Salon after frustrating search for a curly hair professional for a cut and hair coloring - cover the greys. Jacob did an amazing job on both occasions! The haircut looks amazing with natural curls as well as blow dried. Finally, after 3 years of suffering with wrong color I found a true professional who knows the difference btw black & dark brown with cold subtone. My hair look fantastic and I feel like a Cinderella. In a city with 100s if not 1000s salons but very little great ones - Arya stands out as one of the greatest. Kuddos to Jacob for opening this great place and be one of the best professionals in the field. And I’m just a happy new but already loyal customer. Highly recommended

I found Jacob after an unfortunate over-processing color fiasco. I had been looking for a salon in my neighborhood and came upon a different salon where, despite wonderful reviews, my hair was turned into an orange, stripped mess. The next day I found Jacob to see how he could help correct what had been done. The very next day, my hair was back to a healthy glowing and more natural color. Jacob listened, was attentive. and he clearly has skills! I am grateful to have found him and I would highly recommend his work to anyone looking to feel beautiful.

Jacob is a genius. I always know that I can trust whatever he thinks I need for my look. That is saying a lot! I always feel like $1 million when I leave his chair. He simply knows his business better than anyone else. especially if you need color correction, he is your man! He will fix the problem and make it look like there never was one. The owner Jacob gave me the worst haircut I ever had. He wanted me to get a trendy bob that was longer in the front and shorter in back, I should have just left then, but he claimed he understood what I I wanted, a long angled cut, angled on the sides. He is a spiteful and angry person and purposely cut my hair incorrectly. It looked hideous. I'm surprised this place is still in business. On another note he's Jewish and he hates Muslim people. At one point during this haircut he was actually yelling at me while telling me about some interview he saw on TV with some Muslim people who were unhappy about something. Horrible, horrible experience, don't go there. I wish this experience was a total fake, but sadly I had to live with that horrible haircut and wait for it to grow out.
