Update: a year later and Lamar is still cutting my hair and always keeps me look fabulous! Lifetime customer! I got my hair cut by Lamar twice so far... all I can say is I LOVE my hair cut. I recieve compliments everywhere I go. His skills are beyond this world. If you are looking to receive a great hair cut you can't go wrong with Lamar. I can't wait for my next appointment. Update: Lamar is now working at Boardroom styling lounge in North Druid Hills

I used to see Nikita here. I called to make an appointment but learnt that the salon closed. Fortunately I had Nikita’s cellphone and was able to get in with her! She is now at The Hair Lounge by Nickita at the salon lofts in Smyrna. It actually worked out great for me because this is literally 4 minutes from my home and the space is very calm and quiet!

I love this place! Josie does excellent color, and Aaron does an excellent cut! Everyone here, though, is just relaxed and capable stylists. They’re nice to talk to during the appointment, and they seem to really understand hair. I tend to pay more for the more experienced stylists, and I find it totally worth it. When I have an idea for my hair but need a little nudge in a certain direction, the more experienced stylists don’t just stare at me blankly — they offer good suggestions.

Needed a haircut and checked out some reviews and luckily found Aaron to be as good as it gets. He was friendly and gave me exactly what I was hoping for in a haircut. Definitely plan to return for my next cut!

Friendly staff, nice salon. I had an appointment with Aaron and he gave me a great consultation and really listened. I have difficult hair and he gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. I'll be back for sure

Amazing! Barker is my Hair Doctor, best of the best! His hair products are amazing. I am using his shampoo and conditioner and it has made so much difference to my hair quality and my hair stopped falling after using his products. Love him♥️

Awesome experience. First cut in 2 years. Michelle was wonderful - she really listened to me, knew what she was doing, and took her time with attention to detail. Also: the magical shampoo scalp massage!! Would 100% come back

I decided to get my hair colored and was feeling adventurous. I immediately booked Nickita and asked her to decide the colors. She did a great job! I totally love my red and aquamarine hair. The one thing I really loved is how she placed the colors in my hair keeping in mind various aspects like how would it look with the hair open and how would it look with my hair tied up. I'd highly recommend booking with Nickita. She is very punctual, hygienic and knows what she's doing!

I have been seeing Aaron for years and he has always done an incredible job with my hair! I moved recently and have driven from Alabama just to see Aaron again. I have always had great interactions at the salon with friendly staff and the pricing is very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend!

I have never colored my hair before so this was my first time trying it out. Was nervous about the end result but it turned out great! A big shout-out to Nickita, my hair stylist. We discussed multiple options and she understood what I was looking for. She also suggested a haircut to bring out the new look and I am glad I agreed. I love the choice of color, the haircut with layers and the styling in the end. Thank you so much Nickita! I highly recommend her!

I loved my hair I asked for a haircut and it came out how I wanted it to come out I recommend that you try this place I have gone to so many hair salons and every time I go they don’t listen to what I want but here they care about there customers and give them exactly what they want. I love this place I well be going again.

I paid over 100.00 for this haircut! I won't post a picture of the front because it's just as bad! The picture on the right is the cut I wanted and on the left is what I got! Update: Years after I posted this review Tony and Guy decides to reach out to me only because of the incredible amount of views my post has generated. My appointment was on 12/15/14 and I was charged (including tip) $195.00 and I posted the review under my maiden name! This kind of company in my opinion doesn't deserve to be in business! I will let everyone I know NOT to ever use this saloon!

Nickita Today was my first visit at this place . Always heard nice things about nickita from my friends who has been going for years and i know what the hype about . She takes her time there is no rushing and her work is amazing she knows what she is doing . Love my hair love her too !

Nikita worked closely with me to find the perfect red tones to cover my very gray hair. The result was a beautiful, natural, and multi-tonal look that I'm obsessed with. Nikita's haircuts and styling are also top-notch.

Went to this place on a friend’s recommendation and I was not disappointed. I was getting a hair cut after a really long time and my hair had become out of shape and rough - Aaron did a really good job of explaining all the different options we could consider for a new hair cut - and the one we ended up doing - well, got a lot of compliments ! So definitely recommend it :)
