When I visited for my consultation, I felt so at ease. She explained everything to me thoroughly about what was happening with my hair. I felt so at ease. I was so taken with Queen because she gave me the same talk my doctor had given me. Drink more water and take biotin regarding my hair, skin and nails. When I say she is God sent, I mean it wholeheartedly. I am so excited about my new hair journey because I actually have someone who cares about the well being of my hair. Thank God for sending her my way!

I first want to start by saying I’ve been a customer of Queen’s since July 23, 2018, and I LOVE EVERYTHINGG about it. Secondly, I want to say that she takes her time, in EVERYTHING she does, in consideration of her clients and I GREATLY appreciate it. Lastly, I’ve had my locs for going on 3 years now, she’s the only person that’s ever done them for me, and she does an excellent job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for ANYONEE with natural hair, especially looking for the proper natural hair care.

I went to get starter locs. This lady put 48 different oils in my hair to loc it😮. Who does that? I went a second time for a retwist and a month later i had to unloc my hair because it itched sooooo bad from whatever she used on my hair. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I've been to several salon and this beaty-master is far by the first of any experience I have ever received. Queen was more then professional, she took the time to explain to me the process of my natural hair growth and recommended several things that I was doing but not consistently I have found a beauty master that not only care about her passion but the client's she service....keep up the Good work I will be returning

I have been trying to set an appointment up for a couple of months now. I have called, left voicemails, been sent to voicemail, and gotten my calls picked up and then hung up right after. I really wanted to experience her salon and her work. Her reviews are amazing and I'm sure they are all true. Maybe it just wasn't meant.

I would also like to experience the salon... and I completely understand about the phone lines, however the website it outdated and Google Maps has no hours of operation so living in Cordova is 20 min out just to stop by, not know when you are open. I ask if I could do a consultation via sending pics/ video... no response. I'm sure the salon is well worth more than 1 star! I'd just like to find out.

Let me start by saying making the decision to transition to locs is the best decision I have ever made concerning my hair. I had some initial concerns because I have some hair loss around my edges but Queen was able to alleviate my concerns in my consult. She is very knowledgeable and skilled at what she does. My hair has grown so much in the past 5 months; I've even had some growth around my edges and I know it's all thanks to Queen. I travel here each month from Houston so you know Queen must be doing her thang!! I'm so thankful to my cousin,who lives in the area, for referring me to Ashe Salon it is totally worth the trip! Mama Queen is the bizness. I had to start over on my loc journey because my last loctician messed me up badly and Queen came to the rescue. Miss Queen made me feel at home! I went to her shop for the first time last week. Not only did I leave with mini twists that were beautiful (Way better than what I asked for and expected), I had a blast! I love her personality. And my hair is still looking fresh a week later. I look forward to returning to Ashe'. I know Miss Queen will take great care of my hair.

My daughter got frustrated taking braids out of her hair and cut some out leaving patches so I called around to natural hair salons. Natural Affair said that they would call me back but Ashe' Natural Hair Care called me in. And they hooked my baby up and did my other daughter's hair too. Don't go where they call you back... go where they call you in. I'm still waiting for that call back....11 am to 10 pm... what a shame! Go see Mz Queen she does what she loves and loves what she do. Thanx a million Melonie you did a great job fixing my baby hair. Great service and awesome atmosphere.

What can I say about Ashe (Queen), plenty... I remember approximately 8 years ago, my husband wanted locs, and I searched and searched to find a salon that had the same values, and more concerning the healthiness of the hair. I found ASHE Natural Haircare Salon. When we walked-in, the VIBE was more of a family environment. Queen made you feel welcome, and gave the Realest hair consultation. Saying, US plus She is the my husband's healthy hair team. She makes feel apart of your hair journey. We journeyed with him and 3 years later my husband wanted a change (cut his lovely locs :( . Of course, he went ASHE (Queen) to do the honors. Moving forward, my hair was natural as well. I had a beautiful afro, (must say my twist outs was the BOMB SHIGGITY). One day I decided to do a Dominican blow-out. Needless to say, and implicitly implied no chemicals in my hair, but chemicals was put in my hair. To my surprise, my natural hair was no longer natural but it was shedding ferociously. I called Queen, told her the incident, went in for a consultation, and she told it was not going to be a fast turn-around but if I committed to the treatment plan my hair would be healthy again. We followed the plan for approximately 6 months with a trim here, and there, and I can say about the 7 or 8 my hair was my hair again. Since, she nursed my hair back to health, I always call her for hair advice. I remember when I was thinking about getting sister locs, she referred me to a video she had made on the dynamics of sister locs, and the detrimental it is to the hair. So instead, I came to her for locs. I have been sporting my locs now for about almost 2 years now, and I LOVE THEM (Gorgeous),, she does my granddaughter's locs as well. Queen puts the same kind of care into my locs as she did my husband locs. There are many locticians out there, and some might be good but I have never seen anyone, who gives special attention to a client's hair like Queen. I mean, you go to some shops, and oftentimes have a cliquish vibe but not at ASHE. Even the seasoned clients make you feel welcome. If I could describe Queen with one word, and lazy would not be one of them. I would say she is "AGILE" Always willing and looking for new ways to go above and beyond for her clients (i.e. coming at 6 in the morning or even on a Sunday). She is more than willing to fit her schedule around her clients. ( I know, I've called for an early appointment, even a Sunday appointment. Tell me, where can anyone find a stylist like that???? ASHE IS THE SHIGGITY!!!!

What can I say? Ashe's is a home away from home. Since I've stepped foot in the place the atmosphere got me and Queen herself took me in and showed me how to care and nurture my locs. Hardworking and determined to make sure all of her clients are more than satisfied with the results. It's more than just a salon it's a therapist office for the soul. So when you refer to her she's more than just a stylist she's a doctor for the hair and soul. Before arriving at Ashe, I visit many lock shops to find the perfect fit. I can truly say after coming to Ashe my hair is more healthy than it has every been. Because of her expertise, the disatisfy build up wax on my hair has been removed from my lock. She is flexable with her clients when it come working early morning, late evening, and during Holidays. I also LOVE the professional of her work ethnic and ability to make clients fell like family. Why you may read these review just because you want your hair done....but she committed to not revivial of the hair but inter and outer beauty. After walking through her door on my consult visit, I knew I had FINAL found my perfect fit.

I am new to the Ashe Natural Hiarcare Salon. Every experience with the owner/stylist has been educational and professional. I called in on a Sunday for appointment and was granted a consultation the same day. It was not even 10 mins between my phone call and arrival. Ms. Queen sat with me and educated me on my LOC journey. I set an appointment for two weeks later. Queen had great communication, she followed up on our appointment due to potential bad weather but we both showed on time along with other clients and had great fellowship. I look forward to the great community and fellowship at Ashe. I also look forward to a continuous healthy journey for my locs as Queen nature them.

I came to Ashe Natural Hair Care Salon, with sores in my head from a previous salon that was very unprofessional and negligent. Ashe does appointments only and I called in a panic with my head feeling on fire ,Ms Queen told me to come on and she began treatment on my scalp and my locs, repairing and restoring not only my scalp but restarting my locs so that could grow and flourish to their full potential. I'm extremely grateful for this wonderful pure heart woman.

She doesn't just 'do' your hair, she nutures and cares for your hair and scalp. Mama Queen is amazing! Her salon is welcoming... I love the realness ❤...I loved meeting her and enjoyed the atmosphere. Kim is sweet and did amazing on my blowout (she burnt me a bunch tho i got scabbs and burn marks on my ear and head) but I still loved it there and will be back.
