I've been going to Sarah Mac for about 5 years and she is the BEST stylist to have ever touched my hair. I've followed her through a move to a salon, and when I move out of state in a few months, I'll be saving my trips to the salon for when I'm back home in Seattle and can go to Sarah. Sarah is amazing at giving my hair a natural, yet vibrant copper. It's challenging to find a colorist that's this talented at coppers. And she nails the haircut every time. She worked with me over the course of a year leading up to my wedding to ensure we had the perfect color and cut for my wedding and it was PERFECT. She spent extra time to research clip in extensions and advised me which extensions to buy, and then she colored them to match my hair perfectly. The girl who styled my hair on my wedding day said it was the best coloring and color match she'd ever seen on hair extensions. I got so many compliments on my hair during my wedding week and on my wedding day. I LOVE that Sarah charges an hourly flat rate instead of by the service, and she has built in her gratuity which leaves the guesswork out of what to expect for any costs. She has always been very upfront and confirms her estimated time and cost before getting started, and when I first started going to her she discussed the longterm maintenance of my desired look and what I could anticipate for costs moving forward. She is very knolwedagble and shares lots of great advice - she doesn't push my to buy products from her, and she actually advised me to purchase a product elsewhere because it was best for my hair. That's how I know if she were suggesting I buy a product from her that it's genuine advice. Finally - Sarah is great to talk to. She doesn't force me to chat if I'm not feeling chatty, but when I am, she is great to talk to and to get to know - it never feels like forced small talk. If you need a new hair stylist, look no further. 10/10. Straight hair photo is right after she colored and cut it before leaving for my wedding - the rest are a few angles of my hair from my wedding day.

The salon is super cute and accommodating. Sarah, my stylist is a 10/10. Communicative, attentive, and a damn good stylist. Also so knowledgeable about products, especially for my curly hair

Candice is incredible!! My story is I got an awful batch of highlights last summer from a different salon, then did some all over color, and then allllll the brass started seeping through. I honestly thought my hair was beyond repair and I found myself wearing hats and tying it up every day. Britnie at Asterie recommended Candice to me because she had some openings. Candice asked for photos of my hair beforehand, and asked me what my goals were, and was so thorough, educational, and communicative throughout my appt. I walked out with hair that feels like me and I’m so happy with it! Such a positive experience coming here and I will 100% come back and see Candice for every appt!

I LOVED my whole experience with Jodi. She really listened to what I wanted in a haircut which was a little between two styles and confusing and was so nice and patient. She spent time and made it such a unique, tailored-to-me-cut. I haven’t had that at all here in Seattle and I moved here 6 years ago. I absolutely love my haircut and received so many compliments. Keep up the amazing work Jodi! I’ll be seeing you again :)

Sarah is the absolute best. She tailors each trim to my needs and remembers my preferences. She is super accommodating schedule wise, and is quick to respond. I love the product selection and scheduling services that Asterie has. She is the best at suggesting new styles that work with your natural texture and are low maintenance, and products that fit you needs and budget.

I had a wonderful experience with Sarah! She listened very carefully to what my hair goals were and provided options to achieve them. She explained all the processes before starting. Her work is meticulous! I will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Sarah Mac has cut my hair twice and both times the cuts have turned out gorgeous! Sarah is extremely knowledgable about haircare, dedicated to serving her clients, and wonderful to chat with. 10/10!

Britnie is an amazing stylist and colorist! I always know that when I go, I will be walking out with a cut and style that I REALLY like. If there were 10 starts I would give 11 🙌.

My favorite person in the world, Rhonda, is a hair stylist here. She has been cutting my hair for 28 years and she's awesome. The rest of the stylists are also wonderful and talented people. Cozy atmosphere with great music. They do eyebrow waxing here too.

I was looking for a colorist who could help me come back from a year of coloring my hair at home. I called Brown Hair and was immediately called back the following day by one stylist who couldn't get me in as soon as I wanted, so she put out a text to the other stylists with my timing request. Britnie called me back and booked me when I needed and did a fabulous job on my all-over color. I immediately got compliments. And she did not make me feel bad for coloring my own hair for the previous year, she simply told me what she thought I needed and we went from there. Good salon, nice people, skilled colorist in Britnie. Thank you!

The salon is clean and bright and friendly. Actually, I've been following my hair stylist around Seattle for nearly 20 years. Rhonda has beautiful curly hair and knows how to cut and style curly hair. She also knows how to straighten curly hair if that is your preference. She has been at this salon for a few years now and I like the atmosphere here. I would highly recommend the salon and Rhonda.
