I made the mistake of booking this place to get my nails done. The service is limited and BAD, do NOT waste your time/money. They seem to have experts in lashes though.

"Friendly" would be an understatement. You feel immediately at home walking into the place. Comfy and classy atmosphere. I've been getting my brows done with Shanti and lashes done with Andrea for years now I genuinely look forward to them. Superb work and reasonable prices.

Im never the type to leave reviews but if I could give this place more stars, I would. I had such a great experience here!! I came in to do my brows and get a lash lift and I left extremely happy with the results. Shanti is so sweet and diligent with her work. 10/10 & I def will be coming back again.

They will really take care of you here at this salon. I visited for eyelash extensions and did not have the best experience initially but spoke with Prince (salon manager) and he took the time to make sure that I was happy with my experience. I ended up coming back for a reapplication of hybrid lashes with Andrea who is very sweet. She took her time removing the original lashes and carefully applied a new set onto every lash. I'm very particular about how I get my lashes done and appreciate the level of service provided to ensure a good experience. I also like the synthetic lashes they use as they are lighter and very fluffy looking. Overall a great experience and I would recommend getting your lashes done by Andrea! You will definitely be taken care of here!

Rani is the BEST!!! I got my first Brazilian & bikini wax with her & she is so sweet & gentle. All the ladies in this place are very kind and attentive. They have a lot of services for good prices! the environment is extremely clean, smells very nice & calming. Love love love this place! I highly recommend, definitely will be returning in the future!

The lash lift by Santi is an AMAZING, ONE OF A KIND service. I have had many lash lifts across many salons and hers is by far the best. She takes individual care of your specific lash type and they are lifted and have volume for 6 full weeks after. She is the best and I would highly recommend!

I've been going here for about 2 years to get my eyebrows done. First of all the decor is perfection. It is always well done and on theme even during the holidays (the christmas tree was pink). Everyone who's done my brows does them just like I want, especially Shanti.

Since I moved to East village this is my monthly wax place. This place is very clean and environment is absolutely calm. All the employees are very kind and friendly. Rani did a wonderful job for my full body wax. she is very experience. And you cannot beat their prices in the city specially the treatment you get! This place is gonna be my always favourite ❤️

I recently had a lash lift and tint here, and while the technician was very beautiful and kind, my experience was unfortunately negative. I wasn't advised to remove my contact lenses, which caused them to flip up during the treatment, resulting in extreme irritation. Additionally, the perm solution entered my eyes, causing further discomfort. The wiping down of my eyes with paper towels exacerbated the irritation. Throughout the treatment and for days afterward, I genuinely worried about my eye health. While the salon itself was lovely and the staff were all really nice, my initial experience was disappointing. Furthermore, my lashes were overprocessed, and after a week, they became so kinky and tangled on my left side that I had to seek assistance elsewhere. Despite the technician's assurance of her experience, I unfortunately had a negative first experience here and would not consider returning.

The best beauty salon I’ve ever been to. I’m big on skin care, self care and I highly recommend. Everyone was really nice and the atmosphere is amazing. They give you a king and queen treatment for sure. Great spot for a predate with your significant other. After you get all beautified you can go out and show it off at a nice restaurant or activity. 5 stars for sure!

When we opened our New York location we had a lot of clients ask where the best Beauty Salons in the city were, so we made sure it was a top priority to find out. Long and behold we stumbled across Athena’s, from the Owner to the customer experience and interiors everything is the best of the best. Would highly recommend it to anyone travelling or living in the city of New York.

I have been coming to Athena’s beauty for my brows for two years and am always very happy with the results! I also recently got my first lash lift and tint with Shanti - it was amazing, I’m 5 weeks out and they still have the same shape. Haven’t had to wear mascara since getting them done, and have had 3 friends get them done/have the same results since. Would absolutely recommend any service here!!

I did a Brazilian, Glute, and Leg Wax! I choose the chocolate wax? It was an experience lol it was my first Brazilian so you can imagine how that felt. But the service was great and the lady was super sweet. She kept asking if the wax was too hot and would check in a lot. But 10/10 service, I would definitely come back here again!
