I’ve come here for several years and have always had good experiences. The techs are usually very nice and meticulous. However, I was in yesterday for a mani/pedi and after leaving, noticed the toe polish was the wrong color and did not match the nails. I called this morning and explained the situation and scheduled a polish change for this afternoon to resolve it. I was charged $20 for a toe polish change and unfortunately it seems something was not applied very evenly so the topcoat has tiny little bubbles all over. Very disappointed especially for repaying such a high price.

Janice was my stylist and friend. She is very is always very professional, kind, considerate, and compassionate. She did my nails for the 11 years that I was in Reno. The salon was always very comfortable and clean.

Love this place. I’ve been getting manis & pedis (usually gel or hard gel) for over a year now. Audrina & Nani are awesome and extremely kind & professional. The owner is also super kind, on top of things, and willing to receive feedback. Last but not least, Dania at the front desk is AWESOME. She’s always helpful in scheduling & rescheduling - even if if it is just for fixing a nail! Very happy overall with the services I get, the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of stations.

I wanted to get my make up and hair done for a very special date night with my husband. I had bought some clip hair extensions I also wanted to see if they could put them. Since I wanted to be clear on price and see if the make up artists could give me the smokey eyes I wanted. I went to salon and took pictures of what I wanted done to hair and make up. I spoke with receptionist who was very nice and she called the manager over to show her my pi turned

Gel nails didn't even last 4 days, my nails were also filed down to the point of sensitivity. They are so thin and weak. No hand massage that was promised with the manicure. I also got a pedicure and paid extra for the special hot stone massage and the massage was done so lazily and without any effort, lasting a whole five minutes maybe. I used to exclusively come here just because of the massage experience and my gels would last for weeks. No longer the case and now I'm looking elsewhere.

$97 for a fill. I wasn’t planning on leaving a tip but their kiosk did not give me a choice. I wanted a different simple design but she couldn’t do it. All the hearts are different sizes. All the nails are lumpy. My nails do not look filled you can see the grow out. I don’t understand why this place has 4 stars.

Edit: i use a fake name and fake account on social media for my own privacy. Its my own personal preference. This is 100% the location i recieved services and I was indeed charged 10 for a repair. ---- I've been getting my nails done for years at other salons, and switched to this location when I moved. My gel manicure chipped after 2 days. I had to pay 10 dollars for them to fix it, and they chipped a few days later after that. I've never had that problem anywhere else. Their eyelash extention application times are far longer than anywhere else too. Expect a minimum of an hour an a half/two hours for hybrid and volume. I've been getting lashes done for 10 years and an usually done within an hour and some change. The staff is really nice, but I feel like there needs to be a refresher course for some of the technicians.

Had a wonderful experience with Kelsey at Atmosphere Salon. She is very professional and is very talented at nail art. I am always looking to find a nail technician who can do nail art which is rare in the Reno area. Kelsey does all sorts of artwork on gel and acrylic nails which is incredible! She was very nice and made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our appointment. Got both nails and toes which look amazing! Definitely would recommend her to anyone looking for some amazing nails.

I don’t usually do this but after one thing after the next I feel like it’s important to write an honest review about this place. Went here with my girls, reservation for 4 manis and pedis. They put us in four chairs next to eachother but the one I was in was broken, the manager was up at the front and never came to check in, the technician doing my friends nails had to stop what she was doing and move me across from the rest and start a bath. I got the new girl who hadn’t been trained properly and left the water running too long and it almost overflowed and was boiling hot, legit sat there scooping out water to put in another bowl to drain.. still no manager checking in. The new girl seemed flustered and forgot to do my cuticles so when she did my gel pedi she flooded my nail beds. By the time my pedi was done all three of my friends were done with pedis and manis and the technician acted like I didn’t have an appointment, brought me to the front and they tried to fight me on the fourth appointment. They finally found someone else to do my mani and the manager apparently reprimanded the girl who did my toes and sent her out on a long break and continued to talk mad smack about her and blame everything on her and how “busy” the manager was up at the front or else she would’ve done something. Even blamed the new girl for not knowing which chairs were broken. It was appalling. I was going to forgive them cuz they told me to come back at 5 to redo my pedi and they even comped my mani which was considerate but then when I returned the manager kept talking smack about the new girl while the new girl was still there and walking around in ear shot. On top of everything, I’m looking at my gel mani nails today, and they’re cracking already. #1. Absolutely never returning to this place but #2. As someone who has been a manager in customer service, I was absolutely appalled by the way this woman was treating her employees and talking about them putting all the blame on her technicians instead of herself. When there are appointment issues and technical issues there is no one to blame but the establishment, your technicians just work there dude. It’s up to you to make their jobs easier and check in on your clients. My suggestion, find somewhere else to get your nails done.

I highly recommend this salon. My nails have never looked better! The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is always upbeat. You won’t find a better salon here in south Reno.

I took my niece here to get pedicures. Kelsey did an amazing job. She took her time and was very detailed. Amy did a great job with my niece. She made her feel comfortable and kept the conversation going. We both loved the end results!

I walked out crying. I booked an appointment to get my nails done for my wedding on Sunday. I original wanted gel but my nail technician convinced me to try their dip powder saying that it looks nicer and last longer. It sounded like she was very confident with the product as well, so being that it’s for my wedding I said okay why not. As she is working she is asking me if the work is okay, I repeatedly tell her they are too tick, the shape is off, they are not even, and they look too messy. She tries to “fix” them but I can tell that she doesn’t have the skill I was hoping for. I cried twice out of frustration because as she is trying to fix her work, she is blaming my nails and my hands for the way her work looks. I’ve had my nails done multiple times at other shops with no problem. She finally finishes up and I’m struggling to hold back tears, this is not what I want to took back at on my wedding pictures. Their desk lady did come back and asked what was wrong and I explained and she did try to get me in with someone else to fix them but I said no. I payed for my service and they did take $11 off. This is the work I walked out with.

I wanted to give this place a good review because it was nice and the people were very friendly but I really ended up with a terrible pedicure this morning. My manicurist did not remove any of the dead skin off my heels nor around my nailbeds. I also noticed that she didn't even put a top cost over my polish.

Kelsee was the person who did my pedicure. I am disabled and also have a weird phobia of my ankles being touched. She was absolutely accommodating. It was the best experience I have ever had for this.

Man this salon used to call Paris nails and spa. I used to come there for years. After that. When the name changed the prices are way higher. I paid nearly 200$ for gel with one design in one nail and gel pedicure. I used to pay way less by this I mean more designs and better quality pedicure for that. In addition, the front desk is rude. Doesn’t say thank you. Doesn’t ask if she I need another appointment. She just have an attitude. This is not the first time I interact with them. Be nice you are business you need to attract customers you gotta make them feel good. They come here to pay and feel good. No need for being mean. And one time I was in the phone with the front desk she told me she will charge me for an appointment that I wouldn’t attend full cost. Like I ain’t paying full price for an appointment I don’t attend if I call in advance and tell you I had an issue Ian’s I can’t make it and this was my first time. Like not cool. You could charge me 50% or 25% of the service it’s not like no call no show. But you’re not a hospital. Just never seen that before. However, There techs are amazing and nice! They do a good job. But really need to work on your business practices. It feels like it’s all about the money. You forget that in order to get money you need to satisfy client. And be nice to them.

It was my first time ever going there. My daughters took me for a Mani Pedi for Christmas. The girls. There are amazingly sweet, so nice and very attentive to what they think you’re comfort needs might be great place can’t wait to go back.

Kelsey is absolutely amazing! She does the most amazing nails and nail art. She always puts time into caring for your actual nails and she is also super awesome to talk to. This week I broke a nail and was a in a lot of pain. She worked out her schedule to fit me in and was beyond attentive and caring to fix my nail. No pain for the holiday!
