Blaire is amazing. She does such a great job and is super easy to talk to and be around. She is always making sure I like how my hair is turning out during the process. The salon inside is super cute and nice as well. I always get a great cut when I am there.

I wanted to re-dye my hair to a specific reddish purple. Blaire got a perfect match. The other staff were very friendly, too. It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and they have coffee and snacks!

Jessie gave me the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I came in with a grown out, one length bob and she started cutting as soon as I sat down without even brushing/combing through my hair or washing it. Then said, “I love cutting your hair dry because I can mess up,” and “It’s not about it being even.” Even though I showed her a picture of what I wanted (not even close to a shag), I still ended up with a mess of a shag. The disconnect and unevenness make it impossible to style or be able to throw up in a clip without one side of layers falling out. My ends are so thin and see through now, even my bangs and face framing are uneven. There was zero intention with how she cut it and no blending at all. I even bought the product she used and tried to mess with it for a few days to try to make it work but it is just too bad. Waist of money on products and a haircut I’ll have to grow out for months before it even begins to look okay. I will note that another stylist tried to fix it by blending the layers and taking some length off but could only do so much without making the layers shorter or my ends too much thinner than Jessie already made them.)

Barber probably cut off an extra 2 inches of hair from what I requested, I requested around shoulder blade length so just around an inch or two below my shoulders, instead they cut to about a half inch above my shoulders and now I have a bob cut, not even close to what I requested. I gave a picture example and everything of what I wanted it to look like and how long I wanted it. Very disappointed as to how it looks.

The owner cares about these reviews and reached out directly when I disclosed a negative experience and informed me that the issue had been remedied. A small business owner with a passion for her business and her staff gets an extra star in my book.

Great hair cuts! Moved from NC to KY and this is definitely my go to place from now on!! Very consistent and great hair cuts! Stylist's are very friendly! *Update* I think my original review was from 2022? Regardless still 5 stars, highly recommend!

I've been going to Atomic since 2018 and I'll never go anywhere else! The vibes are immaculate and the service is unmatched. The entire Atomic crew is professional, caring, and unbelievably talented. I get fairly complex services done and I've never been happier with the health and appearance of my hair. I personally see Caylin and she is so wonderful. She spends an average of 3-4 hours with me every appointment and does a spectacular job. I recommend Atomic to everyone because they are the best!

Atomic House of Hair is such a great salon! From the cleanliness and aesthetically pleasing look of the space to the quality of the services, I am always satisfied when I leave. I’ve done everything from a quick trim to a full balayage, and I’m always impressed. I can come in with just an idea of what I’m looking for, and no matter which stylist I go to, I leave with great looking hair! 10/10 recommend.

Gretchen did an amazing job with my haircut! I took a drastic turn by going from long to short and she cut my pixie cut that's suitable to my face. She also took my hair preferences into consideration. I also like the cute environment in the salon and it has good vibes overall. Totally reccomend this salon if you're looking for trendy haircuts. :)

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done at Atomic and all I can say is WOW! From the friendly staff to the unique and inviting decor- everything is perfection. If you’re going to see one stylist out of all the amazing ones there, you MUST get your hairs done by Gretchen! She’s listens carefully to all your needs and executes high quality results each time. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Caylin for years at Atomic Germantown location. I have very curly and thick hair and she impresses me every visit. She is talented, knowledgeable, and never cuts corners and does it right. I have never had a better hair stylist. 11/10

I love it here! I just got a cut and brow wax/tint from Melody, and I'm more than delighted. I got a more adventurous cut than usual, and I felt like I was in completely supportive and capable hands the entire time. I'm lookin' great, and like, I feel like it was one of the fastest haircuts I've ever gotten?? Maybe time just flew by... Melody and Blair were super sweet, the vibes were just really great the whole time. I felt very at ease while there, plus it's a lovely lil shop with a great view from the big window in the salon room. I saw a lizard run by outside. I'll definitely be back!

Atomic house of hair is such a welcoming and fun environment. This salon is extremely good at communicating with their clients when it comes to appointments and scheduling. I had my hair cut by Jenn and she is so talented! Jenn gave me exactly the style I wanted but fit to my face and hair type. I feel fresh! I can’t wait to get my hair cut again and try out new styles. Im so glad I found this place. Thanks again!

This is a great local business! They have been so very Covid conscious throughout the pandemic without being judgmental or pushy about it. Just very caring about their stylists and clients. Louisville is lucky to have this hair salon!
