I've been coming to Aura Skin Spa for years, and I can't say enough good things about this place! I originally started with laser hair removal, and the results were amazing—super effective and long-lasting. The staff is always so knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. Recently, I tried Laser Genesis to improve my skin texture, and I’m thrilled with the results! My skin looks smoother, more radiant, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in overall tone and clarity. The providers at Aura are truly experts—they take the time to understand your concerns and tailor treatments to your needs. Aura Skin Spa is my go-to for all things skincare. If you're looking for a place with top-notch technology, experienced providers, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is it! Highly recommend.

I went to Aura for some Botox and filler. I saw Carlos and he did a great job with everything looking natural, and exactly how I wanted. He also had a great touch, I had very little downtime and no bruises. (I usually get bruised). I will definitely be going back.

I had a terrible experience here. Do not recommend for POC. They looked at my race and saw nothing else. No questions about the outcome I was looking for or my skin history. Carlos went on a spiel about my skin and recommended a treatment but all of his assumptions were wrong, and when I tried to speak up he talked over me. I have never felt so bad and sad at a skin clinic.

I swear I thought I reviewed Aura before! Well, I've been going here for years for fraxel dual. It's a long drive from the valley, takes up my entire morning! but I make it every time for Carlos, who impressed me with his professionalism on the phone and later in person when I proceeded with treatment. Super happy and as someone with negative medical experiences, I'm grateful to have found an expert provider with *chef's kiss* experience using lasers on darker skin tones, among other treatments! They recently changed their numbing formulation which has helped SO much with pain... but I will say I have not been impressed with Ari, a recent addition to the team who I do not feel comfortable in her care.

*****5 stars for their laser hair removal services, the staff/providers, and facility. ***3 stars for their clear & brilliant and fraxel services. I've been going to Aura for about a year and a half and have had multiple laser services done including laser hair removal on a few areas, clear and brilliant to treat melasma on my face, and Fraxel to treat a small surgery scar on my chest. I've gotten amazing results from the LHR services here and will continue to go to Aura for this. Unfortunately I did not see results from the 6 C&B sessions and 3 Fraxel sessions I had here and am quite disappointed given the amount of money I spent. However, it could very well be my skin and I hope that others will have better success. Overall the staff/providers and facility are awesome and prices are very reasonable compared to dermatologists.

Amazing experience with Aura Skin Spa! I love getting my Botox, Juvederm and Emsculpt treatments with them. Carlos is a master injector and he always makes sure to do honest and accurate assessments with realistic treatment goals for me. I always feel prettier and younger when I leave Aura! Larry and Claudia are so fabulous and make me feel right at home and I know I’m in good hands! The manager Heidi always makes me feel amazing as well and makes sure I utilize all of my Allē dollars and points! Thank you Aura!!

I recently visited Aura Skin Spa for my injectable filler treatments and a Morpheus8 treatment, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Waechter and the nurse Practitioner Carlos were extremely professional and knowledgeable, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Aging is never easy. Especially as a woman. I am so thankful to have Dr. Anthony Waechter and Nurse Practitioner Carlos Sandoval! By far the two most amazing MASTER injectors in the Bay Area! They are the true definition of artists! I’ve seen both Dr. Waechter & Carlos for under eye Botox & tear trough filler which is a very tricky area & not a lot of providers feel comfortable doing. I’ve had amazing and flawless results every single time! I’ve also trusted both of them with doing my PDO threads, and once again absolutely perfect & completely natural looking results. From Botox, Restalyne, PDO threads, & even Vanquish, I wouldn’t trust any other place to help keep me feeling confident & beautiful! Thank you Aura!

I am a recurring customer for laser hair treatments at Aura but unfortunately my recent experience with the front desk disappointed me. The guy at the front desk aggressively asked for payment for some treatment which I thought was already covered. He unnecessarily escalated until I paid, even though I was very calm and tried to assure him that I will happily pay if I'm mistaken. I felt like a customer rep trying to calm an angry customer. I can't recommend this place any more.

All I have to say is that.. AURA is one of the best Med Spas in the Bay Area! I’ve followed the very talented Nurse Practitioner: Carlos all the way to San Francisco & he’s the only one allowed to touch my face. Not only is he extremely talented with Botox, fillers, cosmetic treatments but he has an aesthetic eye & has a graceful hand that makes everything feel painless. I feel beautiful & like a better/improved version of myself every time! Carlos is a gem at Aura & in San Francisco.

Carlos Sandoval NP. is absolutely supposed to be in cosmetics! He just has the eye beyond being so educated and well versed. I’m very difficult to please!Everyone has something that they would like improvement on as far as their unique beauty is concerned. I’m particular with Botox. He really examines my face, and knows what I need to look refreshed! I have friends from Nevada, and Pebble Beach who don’t mind the miles for his expertise!!

I had a wonderful experience during my visit this past weekend. I decided it was time for a little filler and botox and Carlos made my experience comfortable and easy. The most important service a provider can offer is their honesty, and Carlos offers just that. I expressed my skin concerns and lack of youthfulness in certain areas, we came up with a plan and he gave me the most natural and beautiful results. I am not new to injections but was extremely happy that I walked out of my appointment without any swelling and bruises.

I have been coming to Aura for Clear & Brilliant treatment as well as Botox for more than two years now. The staff there has been consistently offering great experience. Carlos the nurse practitioner is hands down the best skin medical provider I have ever had. He really listens to what your needs are and makes brilliant recommendations. The manager and front desk have always been friendly, attentive and helpful. I think the price of the treatments are on-par with places like LaserAway but the experience at Aura is definitely better than those places so you get better value with your money. The most important thing is having the trust in the medical provider and communicating the needs and suggestions, which I’m the happiest with Aura so far.

I've been coming to Aura for more than 10 years now and this review is long overdue. I've seen Dr. Waechter for Dysport and more recently Carlos the nurse practitioner at Aura. I had IPL with Carlos which corrected my brown spots from sun damage and he recommended Restylane filler for under my eyes. The filler was a game changer. As a 50+ year old male, I was looking tired and the Restylane gave me immediate improvement and I feel like I look many years younger. I highly recommend Aura for their professionalism and more importantly the results they deliver!

I’ve had several treatments at Aura. Every treatment has had results beyond my expectations- less painful, less downtime, better outcome! I’ve been to many med spas and compared to the other’s Aura’s equipment seems better maintained, newer and more well researched. Their space is always sparkling clean. The staff is always friendly and professional and there’s never any sales pressure. Most recently I tried emsculpt and not only had outstanding results but had the miraculous side effect of curing chronic back pain. By the third treatment I realized I hadn’t had any lower back pain since the second treatment and a couple of months after the fourth treatment it’s still pain free. I’m a highly fit person but at 50 I’ve never been satisfied with the results of all my efforts to have a toned backside. I decided to try emsculpt to enhance my routines and never expected the happy outcome I obtained. My physical therapist says my back is looking healthier and more symmetrical than ever! Thank you Aura!

First time at Aura Skin Spa and the Service was Superb. Very clean , temperature taken as you come in,which I appreciate. I am a Male and I was very concerned about results , but CARLOS did an amazing job. I got Bottox and fillers . I am so happy with the results after only 5 days that I am Going back for my lips correction next week. And it wasn't on my plans. Now it is ! I highly recommend it!!, Thank you !

I have been going to Aura Skin Spa for more than 7 years! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and knows preventive and remediation skin care. Dr Waechter is a delight. He is knowledgeable, personable, attentive and caring. Aura Skin Spa takes great pride in their staff and it shows. You are always made to feel comfortable, welcome, understood, never rushed and fully educated about your treatment. They are constantly researching new technologies and choosing only the best to have at their facility. I have had many treatments over the years and been very happy. My latest treatment was a fraxel. I was very pleased with the resulting loss of pigmentation on my face. See pictures attached of day 1 and day 5. I highly recommend Aura Skin Spa!
