It really is a shame when you trust 5 star reviews but receive 1 star service. My regular had taken the weekend off but I needed a haircut so I tried her out. I paid for the $40 - 30 min package that included a scalp massage and neck rub. The scalp massage was her digging her nails into my scalp for about a minute. The neck massage lasted about 1 minutes as well. 22 minutes and she was done. Would have been nice to get the full experience... The haircut was AWFUL. She cut way to high on the sides and couldn't figure out how to manage my front cowlick so she just mentioned it a few times as if to say "There isn't much I can do about it." I explained to her that I use dry product and rub my hair to give myself a messy look. She dumped a wet product in my hair and then made me try and style it. She didn't even attempt to blowdry and style my hair. My wife, friends and even my coworkers made jokes and comments about my hair. Good thing I have plenty of hats... I was covered in my hair and she decided to let me walk out without trying to clean me off. Not to mention she talked about herself the entire time and made sure to let me know she wasn't hurting for money... Definitely won't go back.

Lexy did an outstanding job, nice quiet studio, clean, haircut looks great, very affordable, scalp & neck massage with the hot towel treatment. I’ve been living in the area for over a year and think I have finally found a place I will keep going to.

I have been going to Lexi for the past 2 years. I have never had a bad experience. She is attentive, professional, never in a rush, genuinely cares for her clients, always able to accommodate my last minute schedule changes, and to top it off, she is hilarious. I can't speak to the recent negative review posted by disgruntled customer. But, Lexi has never asked for a tip nor has she ever cut my hair without the cutting cape over my body. She is my go to barber.

I have been using Lexi at Texas men's spa for 12 years now. She is extremely professional, diligent, and conscious of my needs. I have recommended her to several friends and acquaintances and would do so again. If there is a problem she will touch up. Her private setting is conveniently near stuffd and next to interstellar bbq right on 620 in north Austin.

I've been getting my hair cut by Lexi for 20 years now. OnIy 3 times have I ket someone else cut my hair (I was living in California for a year so it happened. But when i flew home for a weekend Lexi was always willing to fit me in!) I refuse to see anyone else cut my hair now! She always has me looking great after she done putting a nice in stile cut on my head! Never once have I left there not getting compliments on how I look from the ladies later on in the day. If you want to walk around with confidence knowing you look GREAT after a haircut go see Lexi! She will make you look like a 10/10 !!

I’m not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. Trusting these reviews, I went to get my haircut with Lexi. Lexi as a person is very nice and personable. As a barber, I don’t think she’s qualified. She started off cutting my hair without a cover over my body which we joked about but that’s like barber etiquette 101. During the cut, she kept dropping her instruments which to me shows you’re not even close to an amateur. Despite her boastful talk about knowing trends and fashion, none of that transferred over to my haircut which looked like a teenager cut it. My beard looks okay even though it’s not what I wanted. I booked the vip service so was looking forward to a nice massage. After the massage, I need to go see a chiropractor to fix the pain in my neck. I do wish the best for a Lexi but I don’t recommend her at all and hope she finds a different profession. P.S. Continously asking for a 5 star review while giving me the worst haircut I’ve ever received is a testament to your desperation and seemingly lack of confidence in your skills.

Lexi is friendly and engages in conversation. She is pretty fast on a haircut and it looks just like I wanted. Very happy I found her. I was going to go to one that served scotch or beer while you het a hair cut and we joked I chose her over scotch. Looks just like the picture.

The service was excellent and professional. She knew immediately how to cut my hair, which is hard to find. It took her half the time of most barbers with a better result. Next time bringing my son in for both our cuts which shouldn't take more time than the average men's haircut for one. I didn't wait to be seen and was met at the door. Recommend Lexi 👍🏼

I have really curly and thick hair. Most times I get a haircut, they don’t know how to get the details right and rush through it. Lexi really took her time and made sure it looked good after shampooing it. Definitely will go back

It is extremely difficult to find a stylist that knows how to envision and execute the right cut/style for your head and face without you having to tell them. Lexi is one of the very few stylists/barbers I’ve been to that can do this! She asked a few questions to get basic ideas and then I told her to surprise me. Let me tell you, she has intuition and skill to make you look your best! I’m not much to look at and she made me look like a rockstar, like she just knew how my hair needed to be. She’s funny and carries on great conversation as well! I’m totally impressed and look forward to my next appointment! Thank you kindly ma’am! I’ll be back in soon.
