I’ve been going to Austral Salon for 4 years now, and let me tell you- this is the best place to get your hair done in Columbia, SC ladies!! The salon is chic, clean, and very modern. The staff are exceedingly accommodating and are very thorough in their techniques. I HIGHLY recommend going to Austral Salon, especially if you are a student or have moved to Columbia and need an awesome new salon!

Great service! Great hair cut! Nice place, very clean and upscale. Have been going here for 5 years now and have never been disappointed. The stylists are very talented and professional. Arden usually cuts my hair, and she is just wonderful.

I had a fantastic experience at Austral salon during an appointment for a blowout today. I always have wonderful appointments and outcomes with Karsyn, she does my highlights and haircuts, and Hollie who did my blowout. Do not go here! I had a terrible experience. I booked a “Balayage Blowstyle” with Kylee and left with an uneven bleach job and no blowstyle. When my toner was applied it was immediately rinsed off and she claimed my hair was not taking the toner. This caused my hair to end up with different colors. She then blamed the results on my hair because she claimed that my hair was so damaged. But if that was the case, why she did agreed to take me on as a customer in the first place? I left with multiple colors and half dried hair, and extremely unsatisfied! After I expressed my displeasure, the salon did not attempt to rectify the situation. The only thing in my eyes that would rectify the situation is a full refund!
