Kevin is hands down the best barber I've ever had! His precision with fades is unmatched, and he has an incredible eye for what works with different face shapes. Always takes the time to understand exactly what I want while offering professional advice. The hot towel finish and attention to detail make every visit feel luxurious. Highly recommend booking with Kevin for a top-tier barbering experience.

I had an amazing experience at Avalon! I was nervous going in because my acne was flaring up but the moment I walked into the salon I felt comfortable. My aesthetician, Laura, customized my treatment to what my skin needed and explained everything as she went, which I really appreciated. My skin has never looked better! If you’re looking for someone who really knows what they’re doing and truly cares, Laura is the best—I can’t wait to go back!!

HIGHLY recommend going in to receive a facial from none other than LAURA GATE! She is a phenomenal esthetician with years of experience & will give you the most relaxing spa service of your life. 10/10 customer service, bedside manner, and will leave your skin GLOWING! I’ve received dermaplanes & hydrafacials from her and these services have transformed my skin, evened out my texture, skin tone, and reduced fine lines. Please go book with her! She is incredible. :)

Laura is incredible!! If you’re looking for a good facial or dermaplane, go see her! She will take care of you!! From the second you walk in to her salon room you’ll notice how cozy and relaxing it feels and her work is top tier! I left feeling so glowy & refreshed!! She takes her time and knows what she’s doing. 100000/10 I will definitely be back to see her!

We moved to Dallas about two months ago and a good friend of mine recommended this salon. I finally had a chance to book my appts and I CANNOT say enough great things about my experience with both Adrienne, who did an amazing job cutting my hair, as well as Krystal, who gave me an absolute gorgeous color/highlights. No need for me to look any farther. I found exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you, ladies!! 5 stars isn’t even close to enough!

I have been coming to Avalon for my haircut and color since 2017. I recently moved to Houston and I still come back for my hair needs! I got my hair colored with Krystal and she did such an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and it turned out better than I could have imagined. Can’t wait to come back to town the next time I need my hair done and have her work her magic!

Have gone to this Hair salon and Spa forever, would never change. Hair Color is the best ever. ALways perfect Tami, Kaylin are the best as are the other colorists. Hair cuts Lawerence cut my hair forever until he retired from the floor. Have had different stylist cut always good. Just got the perfect Haircut few weeks ago from the scissors of KEVIN, he was fabulous. a young Lawerence awesome personality. He is perfection

Krystal is my hair girl go to! I’ve gone to her for blowouts, glosses and a Brazilian blowout. She is so fun to hang out with pampering me. I trust her with my hair colors and she always nails it. The salon is clean and efficient, and the lay down shampoo bowls are game changer. Would recommend Krystal 10/10.

Went to Avalon and got my hair done by Chelsea. Being a stylist myself, I am super picky. Not only did she exceed my expectations but she was super fun to have a conversation with. Great clean and welcoming environment.

Avalon Salon is the best hair salon in Dallas for color. Their master colorists have consistently provided quality services for over a decade. I've tried other salons that seemed more convenient, but the results really don't compare to Avalon.

I had a great experience at Avalon. I was in a bit of an emergency situation this week and they were able to fit me into their schedule within two days before I left for a trip. Selene was amazing! She is the sweetest and also fixed my hair and made it look so beautiful. I couldn’t be more grateful or happier with the way it turned out. Thank you so much!

I love Avalon because Krystal is my go-to girl! She nails it every time and does a fantastic job; I always receive several compliments after a visit with her. I have even referred people to her as a colorist and they have fallen in love too! My last appointment included a Brazilian blowout and Krystal was very attentive in how she did the service, as well as educating me about hair and keratin treatments.

I recently visited for a haircut and had a very frustrating experience from start to finish. When I called to book the appointment, the front desk staff was unable to schedule me with the proper stylist despite my explanation of the specific haircut I needed. When I arrived for my appointment, the stylist they assigned tried their best, but it was clear they did not have the experience or expertise to properly execute the haircut I had described. I ended up leaving the salon with half of my hair cut, forced to wait until I could get back in to see a more skilled stylist to finish the job. This botched haircut completely ruined my plans and left me feeling frustrated and embarrassed. It's unacceptable for a salon to book clients with staff who are not qualified to handle the requested services. The lack of training and attention to detail from both the front desk and the stylist made for an overall terrible experience that I would not wish on anyone!!! I would not recommend this salon to friends or family based on my experience. They need to do a much better job of staff training, appointment booking, and managing client expectations. Until they improve these fundamental aspects of their business, I will not be returning! Ps I would upload pictures but I’m to embarrassed

I’ve been here twice now and I’m so blown away by my experience! Krystal has done my highlights beautifully and I cannot recommend her enough. She really does put thought and care into her artistry and it shines through my hair. My hair has never felt healthier despite being lightened. Kevin is also amazing in case you need a trim! So grateful for this place and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

My main positives are about Alyssa who I followed to Avalon because she's the only person I really trust with my hair. Unfortunately, last week I got a call TWO DAYS before my appointment saying she was no longer at Avalon. I ended up rescheduling with Selene who did a good job, but at the end of the day I will be following Alyssa to her next salon. Not only do I love her work but hopefully the salon she's moved to will be better about how they inform customers about changes.

Two days before my appointment my appointment to get my hair done in time for my engagement pictures, I get a call saying that Alyssa doesn't work there anymore making it seem like she was fired. I have had many stylists over the years and she is the most knowledgeable, professional, and kind person/stylist I've ever had. I don't trust anyone to take care of me as good as she does. When I find out how to communicate with her and figure out where she's going, I'm going with her.

Walked in with my silver fox out - haha gray gray go away. Walking out feeling rejuvenated and like I’m about to conquer the world! I must say over the years I have had different stylist but none compare to BRITTANY - she is the absolute best and sweetest. She makes me feel the most beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist or if you’re new to town.

Brittaney literally saved my hair! I started coming to Avalon two years ago and my hair was thinning so badly from stress it could barely even be colored. Over the two years she was able to keep it blonde and it’s so healthy now that I’m actually able to grow it out long which I never thought I would be able to do. Go to her! She’s also really funny

I was visiting Dallas and stopped in for a simple haircut, I saw stylist standing and doing nothing and plenty of empty chairs but was told they had no availability for walk-ins.... I felt as if I was not good enough to be in their salon by the attitude I was given, it took them over 10 min to even finally ask me if I needed assistance..... Never again will I walk in this place, I was lucky enough to get my hair cut and styled someplace with more class.
