Taylor is Amazing! I’ve been coming here for a trim for a few years now but recently wanted a departure from my usual cut. I was a bit nervous that maybe the cut wouldn’t meet my expectations. Boy was I wrong! Taylor absolutely nailed it! She gave me an amazing new layered cut and two days later, I am still just loving my hair! Taylor is Great!

I recently visited this salon and was incredibly impressed with the entire experience! My stylist, Lina, was extremely attentive, really listened to my concerns about my hair, and delivered a fantastic haircut that perfectly matched what I was looking for. The salon itself was clean, modern, and had a welcoming atmosphere.

I was charged a $95 cancellation fee and $191 full price for a service when I became extremely ill the morning of my appointment and called to cancel. I was happy with my stylist and services previously received but have a real problem with a business that charges time and a half for a legitimate cancelation due to severe illness. After calling again to ask about the additional $191 charge on my card, I was told it would be removed, but it has not. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Beware of what you are agreeing to by signing their policies.

I've tried a few stylists here but have not been wowed until I got my hair cut with Kristi tonight! She really took the time to find out about me and what I was looking for. We talked out my ideas and she did what I asked and more! I love my hair and can't wait to go back! Update 1/2024 - I've been seeing Kristi for a little over 3 years now and look forward to every visit! The salon is comfortable and the owner has added some fun amenities (hello charcuterie cups!!) to the already great service.

Such an amazing experience, I felt important from the time I walked until the time I left. Everyone was super helpful with all of my questions and the aesthetics and design of the salon is gorgeous. My daughter gets her haircut there and I just recently Did a spray tan and Lena was Awesome and super knowledgeable with all my questions! 10 out of 10 would recommend this salon for ALL of your needs, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Great salon. I’ve always been a fan of the pricy products, but not all Aveda salons are created equal. Madalayn does excellent work and makes great recommendations.

My stylist, Kristine, did a great job on my hair. I love the color and the new hair cut length she gave me. She always does an amazing job. She’s very professional and compassionate. She goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her for your next hair experience!

Edit: changing to a 3. After posting the original 1-star review they reached out. Please note that I had requested multiple times to speak to a manager about the situation prior to this, to no avail. I commend them on managing their social profile. ****** Be very careful about making an appointment. Even if you tell them you are out of town and flying in the next day. Even did you made the appointment less than 24 hours in advance. Even if you are stuck at the airport out of town and will not be able to make it in. They DO NOT CARE. You will be charged half of your service amount. They will not call you back. They will not try to work with you or reschedule. And they will rebook that stylist, to be sure.

I absolutely loved spending my day here! Rebekah and her team go above and beyond to make everyone feel so loved and pampered. Courtney did an amazing job on my hair and listened to exactly what I wanted. I also loved the hair wash room and massage bed. Can’t wait to come back!

I loved this place and went for years. However, today I ended up in Urgent Care. I called them to let them know I can't make my appointment as I was IN URGENT CARE. They refused to allow me to cancel. I offered to send paperwork or drive it by once I was released. They STILL CHARGED ME 50% OF THE APPOINTMENT. Will dispute with AMEX and not pay anyway, but now they lost a longtime client and got this review. Bad management. Sad.

I met with Jessalyn for a partial highlight on my ethnic curly hair. I had the best service! She was attentive, awesome conversations, great energy and knew how to handle my hair! At the end of service my curls were soft and lush/hydrated and with the most beautiful highlights. I was in awe at the results! I cannot recommend Jessalyn enough for my wavy/curly hair and ethnic queens ! I drove 2 hours for the service and it did not disappoint! She was worth it

Katie was amazing with my 11 year olds daughter and her curly hair! Since no one else in our family has curls, we weren’t sure how to help her style it. Katie took the time to show her exactly what to do and made her feel so confident. The best part? Katie told her she slayed it, which absolutely made her day. Such a wonderful experience—highly recommend Katie!

In the past, when I have asked for a certain color/dimension for balayge, other stylists did not quite achieve exactly what I was looking for. Kira at Aveda Salon Norrell literally made my hair color dreams come true!! My hair turned out exactly how I asked and there's so much beautiful dimension. She is so skilled and professional, highly recommend you book her :)!

Salon Norrell was a beautiful location and offered many services. However, what stands out the most is their up and coming stylist Jesalyn!! She did the most amazing job with my hair. This was my first time ever coloring my hair and she made the process super easy and assured me she would take good care of me! And she did not disappoint!! I can no longer see my unsightly greys and my hair feels and looks amazing!! I will definitely be seeing her again in the future. Thank you so much Aveda and Jesalyn for the awesome experience!

Cesar took care of me for a few years before I escaped away to another state. Always kind, detail-oriented, and attentive, he took extra care in establishing a hair-dye system that worked for my low-porosity curls (and especially stubborn roots, which hate taking dye). He saved me a headache, and then never complained about the tedium when I wanted that same style multiple times a year. :)

Leaving a review from my sisters google account. My name is Huda and I had a horrible experience with Courtney. I had scheduled an all over color, and when I get there she insisted I do a gloss and not actual color. I’ve been dying my hair for 5 years and I know gloss does not work for my hair. She proceeded to insist and when she realized I didn’t want to go that route she says “well you should have told me this in the beginning of the session” when I literally scheduled a all over color. She also proceeded to cut my hair so short she said “ I’m going to cut your hair because who would want to live with all this hair” excuse me people literally pay hundreds of dollars for extensions and she proceeded to cut my hair almost 3-4 inches when I only asked for less than a inch. The hair color was no where near the color I wanted. Absolutely horrible experience. By the way she’s a level 10 artist and probably should go down to a 3-5

Fried my hair with a so called “organic” perm refused to reimburse me but they did give me a credit. Nice staff and good colorist, but would not recommend their perm. :( love there products though.

First time client. Came in for a cut. Lovely environment and customer service from reception to chair. Unfortunately, I realized my hair cut was visibly uneven after showering, but I was going out of town the next day. Went somewhere else to have it corrected five days later, where the stylist confirmed my hair was wildly uneven throughout (length and bulk, and “disconnected”), so we had to cut most of it off. Really sad because I loved the environment and the stylist was really pleasant.

I had the pleasure of having my services done by Molly. She asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood my needs. She did a great job with my pixie cut, which I have heard is pretty tricky. And the color looks fabulous!

This was my first time going to an Aveda salon, I picked it mainly because of all the positive reviews and very professional image. I was recommended Jesalyn when booking an appointment since I have curly hair. Can confirm she is definitely a curl expert!! There's always some anxiety when going to a new stylist, but she did such an amazing job and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and happy every step of the way. It really shows in the end result. I highly recommend her (and this salon) and will be back in a few months!
