My eyes are blood shot red woke up out my sleep because my eyes lash was irritated me so bad . My lashes are hurting so much that I’m having to take them off.

I usually don’t you leave reviews but I was asked by the owner. I’ve been going to this place for years, the prices are constantly increasing, but service lately has not been up to par. I’ve had to return on several occasions due to the fact that my nails were not done properly. I was going to just find someone else, but today I tried to give them one more chance, again I was disappointed, and had to return. I hate to leave, but this will be my last day giving them my time or money.

I’m originally from NJ/NY and have lived in Jacksonville, FL for 6 years. I started going to this salon because it’s close to my house, but I won’t be returning anymore. The service here is inconsistent, and not all the staff provide the same level of care. The first time I visited, I asked for a full gel set, but they tried to give me gel polish over acrylic, which is not the same thing. The second time was for my birthday, when I went in for a pedicure and to have my lashes glued on. I’m not sure what type of glue they used, but it irritated my eyes. I came back again recently because the young man who did my pedicure for my birthday did an amazing job—he removed all the tough dead skin and left my feet feeling smooth. Unfortunately, this time when I paid for the same $40 pedicure, I did not get the same results. My feet didn’t feel nearly as smooth, and I was very disappointed. When I mentioned this to the staff, I was told I need to come back every two weeks for treatment. But that’s not true—my feet were in great shape just two weeks ago, so I shouldn’t have to come back so soon for results that should last longer. At this point, it feels like this place is more of a "cattle prod" of nail salons, rushing customers through without delivering consistent, quality service. I won’t be returning.

My feet feel wonderful. I’m happy I tried this place today with my family - 5 of us total came and they were able to get everyone’s services started and finished in a timely manner without any rushing. It smells amazing while getting pedicures done as well! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend trying out this nail salon :)

Update 11/2024: got a pedicure and gel removed from finger nails. Lady came to me with pedicure menu and essentially like 'get this one!?' ($50 or so + option) and I said 'no #2 ($35).' During this time I was directed to sit with my fingers in acetone for a prolonged duration which felt unhealthy and tbh it was my birthday and I wanted to sit on my phone and shop after cleaning all day. She nipped me once really good, drawing blood, and then I started questioning sterility after she just put the instrument back in its bag and her carrier. But the most infuriating thing - she told me my told was $60 - $50 for toes and $10 for nails. She may have provided the services but I DIDN'T ask for them. And I don't have the menu memorized to know what's apart of what. Subsequently, I gave her a lower tip which caused obvious disappointment. I didn't say anything because I'm not confrontational like that and thought maybe there was a language barrier, but after explaining to my husband what exactly happened, I realized how stupid it was not to say something🤦‍♀️ Moral - if someone tries to update you have them VERBALLY REPEAT what you want. Original post: I really appreciated the time the manicurist took to ensure the sns color was what I wanted,for some reason my nails had a pink undertone withe their product. The 2 times I went there was no wait which is nice. I will say for being newer it doesn't come off as being very new, some of their products/tools look worn (like the gel lamps). I will be back when I need to get them done on the Northside. :)

I brought MY OWN acrylic for a FILL IN and I got a REGULAR pedicure with white gel polish ... $105 no tip. I had an African American shop owner do the INITIAL nail set ... she charged $50. Never coming back to this salon and I will be working with my culture from here on out. I'm accountable for agreeing to this service but it won't happen again. You live & you learn.

I never write reviews but this experience was too bad and may save you! Absolutely horrible experience with my eyebrow wax here! The lady rushed through the entire process in less than 30 seconds. I was out the door in no more than 2 minutes. I am in pain and it’s been hours! yanking off the wax without any care. The wax was scalding hot, and instead of just removing hair, it tore off layers of my skin! I was left with painful, raw patches and sever redness that looked awful and felt even worse. Not only is it excruciating, but left me worried about scarring. This place clearly doesn’t care about clients' safety or quality – avoid it at all costs!

Just left here and I will not be back. Sanitation is non-existent. The way my French tips were done is so uneven and he couldn’t fix it to get it right. On top of that, I called 2 and an half hours ahead of time for pricing and was told 45$ but once the service was done I was then told it would be 75$. When I explained that I told the person on the phone everything I wanted and was told 45$ they guy just rung it up and kept demanding it was 75$. I simply paid and left but I will never be back here again. Not even if I’m pressed for time. That is NOT how you do business and and 30$ price difference is not even reasonable

Received a fill in on my fingernails which was done very poorly raggedy and too thick and I expressed my concerns to the owner and she told me that it would cost me more money to fix it. they are very expensive and their work has really gone downhill.. no need to say I won't be returning there are a lot of other great shops in the area that are less expensive and do much better work. I have frequented this shop for years off and on but definitely not again. The owner didn't even try to fix the matter Our people need to find a place that respects us and don't take our money for granted I have even been in the shop when the workers were making fun of the customers while I was sitting there. They're not even in the top 50 nail shops and they charge so much money Never again. .
