I got the 60 min massage and the ultimate indulgence facial for my mom and my bf for christmas. The bf was wierded out by the thought of a facial, but said that it was amazing and far exceeded his expectations. They both gushed about the entire experience! Thank you for making their christmas experience so wonderful!

I LOVE Ann at A'vie! We moved to Portage about 8 months ago, so I've been to her twice for a haircut, and both times, she knocked it out of the park! My haircuts are so simple -- due to sensitivities prohibiting me from getting my hair shampooed or use any styling products I'm not used to, I go in with damp hair, get a simple trim as I'm growing my hair out, and don't get it styled afterwards. For some reason, any stylist I've gone to in the past has always had a hard time giving me what I want -- not sure it it's because it's so simple and they are used to doing more involved styles (e.g., layering, wispy ends, coloring, etc.), but Ann has got it perfect every time I've been to her. She really listens and makes sure to give her clients just what they ask for. I highly recommend A'vie!

I felt so much better when I left than I did when I walked in. I booked an acupuncture appointment because my anxiety had been thru the roof and instead of going to the dr for meds, I wanted to go for the holistic approach. After my initial visit with Seth I felt more relaxed and like myself. I've booked a follow up and will continue to see him. I feel that he genuinely cares about his patients well being.

I was looking for a new hair salon since I moved to Kalamazoo and I previously had a bad experience from another salon, so I let them know what was going on and what I wanted and it was executed exactly how I wanted. I was absolutely blown away by the service here, the staff is so sweet and kind and I got exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be more happy !!!

My bamboo massage was awesome, when I went to check out is when the experience went bad. I had a question about the price of a product and was very happy with the young lady that was working with me when another woman, who I believe may be the owner stepped in and took over, not sure how much my bill was, didn't sign anything or get a receipt (my fault). When I found out the price of the product I did not purchase it, very overpriced. To bad a day of relaxation had to end on a bad note. Kinda of a bummer. Still unsure why the older woman took over the young lady was doing a awesome job.

Nina is an excellent professional! I have been in Kalamazoo for over 2 months and needed to find urgent care for my nails. Nina took care of this perfectly with liquid gel and I was completely satisfied with the result. Not to mention she is super friendly! I loved the place, too. Beautiful, comfortable and cozy. The Lead Guest Services Expert, Elise , was super kind.

I went to get a pedicure done at A’vie for my birthday about a year and a half ago now, and I recently just received promotional text message. It made me think back to my experience at A’vie so I went and revisited the site and decided to leave a review on my experience and how it went! Ann was my nail tech, and oh my goodness 🤦‍♀️ let me tell you!! Ann was incredibly nice. We ended up going over my appointment by a half an hour to 45 mins (because of me unfortunately) and Ann actually had to go somewhere right after getting done with our appointment. I felt incredibly bad, but she was so sweet and understanding. I kept apologizing and she just kept telling me how it wasn’t my fault and how she enjoys meeting new people and how this had definitely been an “experience” for her. But the whole appointment we talked like we knowen each other for years. I learned a lot about her and it was an overall lovely experience! Honestly I have trouble with going out and getting manicures and pedicures, etc. but she made the whole experience for me! So I’d say if you have any anxieties about going in to get your hair, nails done. She’s your lady! There will be NO awkward silence trust me ☝️ she will fill it! Haha I’m sure you don’t remember me Ann but I remember you! So thanks! 😊

Shawn did a highlight and haircut on my niece Taren yesterday, and she did such an amazing job!! My niece walked out feeling so beautiful. Shawn is a true artist with hair!! We were really blown away with her talent and patience. She really listens to her customers and is very thorough. She made my niece, mom, and myself feel right at home. We also got to meet and talk with the owner, and she was so kind and lovely. We highly recommend this salon and Shawn, it’s a gem!! Thanks for everything!! Eva

I had a lash lift and tint. The technician was very nice. However, no visible lift or curl to my lashes. I do not recommend coming here for a lash lift and tint. I know need to spend more money to get this done elsewhere.

I was looking for a nail stylist in Kalamazoo and I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I also was looking for a place that does sculpted liquid gel. I really love getting my nails done here my Nina! She is kind and she does an excellent job! She listens to exactly what I want like how I want the shape and design of each nail to look. I fully recommend Nina for gel nails.

Nina did an amazing Job! My Wedding is this Sunday and she was able to get me in with very short notice so I could have beautiful nails for the wedding. You could tell she is very experienced and she took her time. The appt never felt rushed. If you need spectacular nails done ask for Nina!
