I absolutely love this salon! The prices and quality are outstanding. I’ve been in San Diego for 2 years and I haven’t been anywhere else. I appreciate the fast service, friendly conversations, fun jam sessions and beautiful atmosphere. Today I got boho island twists and I am obsessed! Thank you ladies!❤️

I love my protective styles every 8 weeks I get my hair touched up, the aunties take down my hair Perimeter clean my scalp and retouch my braids after a touch up I always go back to get full treatment witch the ladies take down my whole head wash and blow dry it then rebrand my hair grown so long and my styles last I love her content on TikTok and Facebook

The salon is nice and clean and the ladies there are quick and awesome. I don’t like my hair braided too tight and they obliged with no problem! Will definitely be coming here for mine and my 3 girls braid styles!

I just left the shop today and had a wonderful experience. My braids are neat and not rushed. The two ladies who braided my hair were friendly and pleasant. The owner Ms. Awa takes pride in her work and makes sure her braiders are performing at a top notch level. She also creates social media content which says a lot about how much pride she takes in her services. This is my third visit at this shop and I will definitely return. Also my braids stayed up for 8 weeks. I was able to wash and maintain them in between. Another plus is parking is plenteous, so you won't have to worry about not getting a spot. I will return back here in 8 weeks or sooner.

Haven’t braided my hair in over a year and this was a great experience coming back into braiding. They made me look pretty again and I didn’t have to pay an arm and leg for it. Definitely coming back!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! This place has horrible service and even worse prices. They were not friendly and ripped me off. They gave me regular passion twists upper back length and they charged me $280. Are you kidding me?? Almost 300 dollars for twists?!? I can’t get my money back but I’m seriously trying to save you and your wallet! DO NOT DO IT!

My hair looks good, I was out in under five hours and the shop is cute. They require you wash and blow dry before your appointment. Hair is provided. I got midback small/medium knotless braids and it was less than $250. My hair is short and 4c.

UPDATE: I went home and realized my braids were not the same size and was not braided all the way down… I called Awa and she got me back in the very next morning to have them fixed… this for me was an A+!! You can’t buy that type of customer service and for that I truly appreciate her and her staff professionalism!! Don’t think twice gooo and let them know what you want and get any understanding up front. Only thing I would recommend is that their braid lengths be established and explained prior to completion of service. I asked for mid back but received bra length and was told they’re the same. I’m from Texas and those are two separate lengths. I ended up getting waist length which actually went to my butt and was too long but I LOVED THEM!! END OF UPDATE!!!!! They do an amazing job!! I’ve been coming here for years and I feel like they’ve improved. This is the place to go in San Diego!! No more than 4 1/2 hours and that’s the plus for me!!!
