I was asked which area they should focus on and I said to focus on my back. I got more head massages than any body part which was weird. Friendly staff but I’d skip this place if you’re looking for a good massage.

I had a great experience during my stay at the W recently. The staff were so nice and greeted me every time I passed them in the lobby. I also enjoyed a fabulous facial and massage in the spa the following day. Everyone was so knowledgeable and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends.

I went here for a massage/spa day over Labor Day. It was a mistake going on a holiday as the spa share a pool with the hotel and they were having a pool party. We arrived a few hours early so we could hit up the pool, jacuzzi and maybe grab some food. But, they don’t have a jacuzzi and their on site food choices were very limited. There really wasn’t much else besides a steam shower. The massage was good but also expensive. Not a spa I would return to but the staff were all very kind and friendly so I’m giving them 4 stars.

The hospitality I received by the W Spa staff was incredible. Very comfortable, super kind, relaxing and amenities were clean and enjoyable. I’ve experienced many spas in the area and would echo that this is a great choice if you are in the area. I will absolutely be back!!

Carlee gave the best facial I’ve ever had. She gave great recommendations when I asked her for advice on skin care! The aroma therapy and facial were soothing and relaxing. She was friendly and professional! Highly recommend. 10/10

Christine have a wonderful massage, all the staff went above and beyond and was so nice! Connie gave an Amazing pedicure and she is so cool! Love this place def will be Back soon for my friends bday. I got a free bday drink too!

Clean spa, good massage and decent people. However, I was overcharged and was told that I would be contacted in 2 days. I went 10 days with no contact from the spa manager or accounting department as promised. On the 11th day I was finally contacted after reaching out on the 10th day. It would have been radio silence if I had not reached since they didn't follow through with their promise of contacting me within 2 days. Once they finally contacted me, they told me that the additional charge was for Prosecco. I didn't even want Prosecco. They handed it to all of us when we got in. They never said there would be a charge for it. Then charged ME for the drinks of 4 people. It's definitely frustrating to say the least. They totally scammed me. I never received an itemized receipt or consented to purchasing Prosecco for myself let alone 3 other people. Even though the massage was fine, I wouldn't suggest going here because of this situation. Stay *AWAY* from here!

Flew into Scottsdale for an early holiday celebration with my daughter. The experience at Away Spa was outstanding. Connie is an absolute gem. She & Solida provided the best mani/pedi’s we’ve ever had, and we left felling like we’d just spent the day with family & are the better for having met them. Blown away by the expertise (my nails are gorgeous) and the wonderful experience.

From the first time I spoke with Kim on the phone to change my appointment and ask a million questions to hugging Connie after the best manicure I have ever had the spa was so very enjoyable. Excellent signature cocktails. Beautiful fresh decor. Stellar people. Thank you.

Great experience for those who are first timers or veterans. Great staff who are well trained and very professional. Highly recommend the message for those who are stressed and need to relax or just want to have an amazing out of body experience.

I had booked a service here and LOVED it. From beginning to end my experience was nothing short of amazing! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Taylor and she offered me a detox shot! She then walked me back and gave me a tour and the entire run down. super cute! My massage was amazing I cannot say enough good things about my therapist, Donna! After, I was able to stick around and relax in their lounge - I even took a nice steam shower. Once I was finished I went and checked out and was greeted by a woman who appeared to be the manager. She asked how my service was and even set up my next apt for me! Will be returning. If you are a guest at the hotel or even a local I would highly recommend checking them out!

I had the best massage of my life on Saturday with Donna! She is so talented!! She worked all the knots out of my shoulder and arms. I feel amazing after the massage. We had a large party of 14 people and my friend also had a massage with Donna and raved about the experience. All of the front desk staff and Spa manager and staff are so friendly and we had a wonderful experience!

I wish I could put 0 stars! This place discriminates against people and treated my friend like he was an animal. Charged for services that were NOT rendered. Becca, the manager and Taylor, at the front desk, have horrible customer service. I will be complaining about them to W Hotel headquarters. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! So unprofessional, disrespectful, and most of all, RUDE!!!!!

The staff are WONDERFUL! Beautiful soles. I went in for a 50min massage with add-on of hot rocks. This was a gift for my birthday. It was presented in the form of a Groupon gift certificate. When I was done and checking out I was told there was a $40 service charge... (For what??) Plus tip $40. This gift winded up costing me $80. Oh yeah a $5 tip for the valet too. I got home and organized my $$ and realized I only tipped $20 as the other $20 fell to the bottom of my purse. Opps, but $200 for a 50min massage is absolutely 💯 % outrageous 😳. I've had several massages and this one was just as good as the others I've had for $40/$60 +tip. (Yes in Scottsdale). Three stars are for the price. ****Oh and no one looked like the photos posted to Google. Everyone was t-shirts and jeans type folks thankfully. As the photos on Google almost scared me off. Lol.****

The staff at this spa was incredible! They were friendly, so attentive, accommodating, and just all around amazing. They made for a truly wonderful spa experience. My facial and pedicure were both top notch services and the spa facilities were great but the staff is what sets this place apart! Shout out to Becca and team!

Had a massage with Tessa and legit feel like a new person. I hold all my stress in my shoulders and Tessa brought me from a 10 to a 2. I only had a 50 min massage and she straightened my out within that time. TY Tessa!! You are amazing!

While staying at the W my sister and I each got a massage here. I love the facility. Loved the robe and slippers. A few things they could improve on is my sister was told the slippers were hers to keep if she wanted but my masseuse did not tell me that. Also, I paid for a 50-minute massage and only got 40-minutes, although she was very good. I took a shower in the facility afterwards and they had some nice items that you could have along with some treats before you left. Paying at the end took over 10 minutes which I thought was a little odd. I'm not sure if the gentleman was new or the system was slow. I also didn't like that they told me how much I was to tip and I couldn't choose the amount. There is room for improvement but I do think it's a great spa.

I’ve been to many resort style spas, and just about every franchise “day spa”. The new Away spa at W Scottsdale has the BEST combination of modern/chic vibes with extremely relaxing spirituality! I had Jamie as my aesthetician and she was fantastic! She took time to customize my facial and recommended the right products to achieve what I wanted with my skin, but in a very informative and non-salesy way. The entire spa looks brand new and beautiful. The vibe, from the music to the staff, is relaxing and welcoming. Highly recommend !!
