Devina was AMAZING! Best facial I've ever had. Deviva is so warm and genuine. Corina and the rest of the staff were so easy going, attentive, and we had such a pleasant and relaxing experience. Steam shower was icing on the cake. We will be back for more services!

Valentine's Day couples massage was absolutely amazing! Nicole and Erinn made sure that the entire experience was special and memorable. I love getting massages, but unfortunately some places have not always been accommodating of me struggling to stay still because my back tenses up. Thankfully the team at AWAY was not that way, instead they were very respectful and made it one of the best massages ever!

Experience was smooth from start to finish. Very impressed with attention to detail when welcoming and also the professionalism of the staff. Liz was fabulous and I mentioned to her that it was the best massage I've ever had. Very relaxing!

First time here and I was very impressed with everything. Shalon and Patty are super helpful and were great about checking on guests to make sure we had anything we needed. Carrie was my masseuse; she was very communicative and provided a very relaxing experience. I left feeling completely refreshed, will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this spa. My Provider, Anthony kept the chatter to a minimum and allowed me to relax and I will certainly book him again. It was a great detoxing massage with CBD and I can’t wait to try more services.

I had such a great experience with Wendy a few months ago, so I requested her again. She is so kind, follows your lead as far as conversing or allowing the quiet, is so knowledgeable about the lymph nodes, and provides the exact experience I am always looking for. The front desk person (name escapes me, blond female) was so informative about their new product line Comfort Zone, and wasn't pushy on selling, she answered all my questions. She was Ben had a little birthday treat and card when I checked out. Great experience all the way around.

I love this spa! The staff is amazing and welcoming. Just had a 75 minute facial with Carrie and it was great! Definitely recommend the body brush add-on. I try and treat myself whenever I am in Austin!

My friend and I had fantastic massages with dry brushing and scalp massage for her. Anthony is lovely, soothing, and friendly. Erin was friendly and talented. Anthony was the first massage I’ve ever not been so stressed during. Thanks for a great day!

The site itself could use a larger lounging area because it was a bit crowded when I was waiting to be called in. At this pricepoint, I expected quiet and relaxation start to finish but there just wasn't a lot of room in the space you sit after changing but waiting to be called back. Anthony, my therapist, was excellent, though! Very relaxing and he was attentive. Highly recommend and I would request him again if I went back.

I made reservations for myself and my neice and booked two 1 hour massages. The reception was Ok…we were shown a list of extras immediately essential oil extras for $20. We declined went to change in the tiny locker area with a screen divide and very loud inappropriate music. I was taken to my room in my robe and ready. I told the massage therapist that I like deep tissue. She replied that it would cost me an extra $40. An extra $40 to use more pressure?? This has never happened to me in my spa experience…to be ready to relax and receive my spa treatment and be asked for more money my the therapist. Total buzz kill and unprofessional…I wanted to leave but didn’t for my neice. Clearly The W is way more interested in profit and pushing to get more money out of their customers than.service. Do not recommend.

I would love to give this spa a positive review, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the masseuses were friendly and professional. The experience was unfortunately turned sour when a friend of mine left her jewelry in the pockets of the massage robe. She noticed the jewelry was missing later that day and called to see if they were found. She checked for updates the following day on 3 different occasions and was continuously met with the same nonspecific answer, that the jewelry was not found. No details were given and it was clear there was a lack of effort in the search for them. We then decided to go to the spa to see if there were any updates. The way the workers at the front desk handled the situation was extremely unprofessional. We were met with hostility straight away from a worker with pink/red hair, when simply asking for help to find these expensive pieces of jewelry. The front desk lady was practically screaming and refused to give us her name. She then proceeded to call security on our group of friends. She claimed she felt threatened, when only one person was speaking to her while the rest of us waited outside of the spa. A lot of money was spent at this spa and the W hotel, so to be treated so rudely was extremely disappointing. The jewelry was found after having to ask multiple times and having to practically beg them to take the time to really search for it. Wouldn’t recommend this spa due to the quality of customer service.

This spa is amazing. It’s cool (love the rock n roll vibe) & relaxing. Every person I encountered was friendly. Definitely a must if you’re in Austin- great thing to do on a rainy day. Book atleast a 60m treatment &go early- work out, chill by the pool, or in the steam shower. (Or do all 3!) Shannon is awesome & gives a wonderful massage!

Typically a hotel spa is a relaxing and calm place to recuperate from the stress of life. That is not the case with the Away Spa at the W. Tiny relaxation area in the locker room, the steam room is really the accessible shower, they don’t clean the locker room so expect hair in the white counters and drink glasses all around, and the pool area is made for twenty-something socializing but not for relaxation. Very disappointing experience.

Complimentary valet parking, beautiful lounge/locker room, knowledgeable/experienced therapists, and a glass of bubbly after your massage: “Treat yo’ self” vibes. Not to mention access to the wet deck and fitness center. Always a great experience!

Dallas in reception was amazingly helpful! She was very patient with our delicate situation and made it possible to book an appointment at the spa with ease! If booking an appointment is this pleasant, I can only imagine what the spa staff and facility is like!!! Kudos to Away Spa! I will definitely be booking there again! Thank you!

Fantastic experience! My therapist was BENIGN! Every time she spoke she had a smile on her face -not in an uncomfortable way. When we started the session, she let me choose the music; which I’m glad I left it as is because the soundtrack was lit. The room is dim and without even requesting scents, she used two different essential oils. I received multiple amenities including: footbscrub, scalp, hot stones, and eye mask. The eye mask was applied immediately when I turned over and I’m skeptical of body creams and anything that can give you a placebo effect, but when I looked at my eyes later, the swelling actually had vanished! The locker room has tea, water, almonds, candy, and a few toiletries. Basic. Uncommon: Since it’s a hotel, when you complete the session they offer champagne and mimosas. Ahh. 👌🏽😎🤤

Scheduling an appointment is impossible. Even if you're a guest and an SPG member and call to book an appointment with 4 hours notice they won't have space. What good is a hotel SPA if you can't get a booking to use it? I would have spent a substantial amount of money at the SPA but there was no one there to provide the service on multiple occasions. They need more on-demand flexible scheduling with SPA services. Big missed opportunity on their behalf. This is not an issue at the W in Chicago.
