After decades of relaxing my hair, I decided to go natural. My transition is made easier by having my hair braided at Ayoola Braiding Bar. She is super nice and keeps a very clean space. She doesn't braided too tightly so I'm not worried about traction alopecia. My first time was cornrows and today knotless box braids. She does offer other services which I'll use when my hair has grown; in the meantime, I'll continue to have my hair braided at Ayoola Braiding Bar. I highly recommend this salon.

Couldn’t even schedule an appointment. Called twice one day, no answer. 2 days later, call again, she answers, then I said politely that I would like to ask her questions about her hair braiding service cause I’m looking to get my hair done and she hung up on me 😐.

Diane is so talented and patient. She just did knotless braids for my daughter who is 13. She sat with her and talked for 4 hours and was so kind and generous with her time. We were so happy and her hair still looks amazing. I will definitely be going back for both my daughters! Thank you Diane! 💜

It was my first time getting my hair braided and I have to say I was nervous not knowing what to expect but it was an amazing first experience! My knotless braids came out better than I could have imagined. The process went by quicker than expected too, all around excellent experience and I’ll definitely be back <3
