A few months ago I asked for recommendations for kids haircuts. An overwhelming amount of people said AZK. I finally decided to go yesterday with my two kids, my 18 month son and my almost 5 year old daughter. My son’s hair looks amazing and I’d honestly recommend her for boys cuts. But my daughter on the other hand, I e been crying since we left the salon. She has extremely long, thick hair with some natural loose ringlets. I wanted maybe 4 inches cut just because the bottom was so dry it was becoming unmanageable. Her hair before wet was so long she could sit on it, dry it was just at the top of her butt. Sherry washed her hair and then attempted to brush it, not starting at the bottom at all so pulling any knots she had throughout her hair into a big rats nest towards the bottom. After about 10 minutes of getting the top brushed out she asked if it was ok to just cut at the huge knot that had been created. I didn’t really understand how much hair was there and was tired of her pulling at my daughter’s head so I agreed. Then she was trimming everything else up to even it out. My daughter lost over EIGHT inches of hair. She’s only ever had one trim so we’ve been growing it out all this time because my daughter wants “long Rapunzel hair” I did message AZK and they said “I'm so sorry I did take 4 inch off didn't realize her hair would draw up so much when dry.” Sure she took off 4 inches but also and additional 4. She did offer a refund but I really just wanted to let you all know not to take your girls with long hair there, ever.

I took my boys today for a much needed haircut. The atmosphere is amazing, and she is so friendly. I am very pleased with the haircuts and the price! I am thankful to have found this treasure!

Love taking my son here! We’ve been going to Sherry since he was just over a year old. She is so great with kids and has the perfect set up to keep them happy, distracted and busy. I can even get my hair cut while he plays in the play area.

Sherry was absolutely amazing. My son is autistic and he hates haircuts - at least he use to hate haircuts! Sherry was so patient and kind and playful with my son making both him and myself comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and there is a fish tank and a play area. I read the Google reviews and thought if any place could cut his hair it would be this place. I was right! It was totally worth the hour and twenty minute drive. We will definitely be returning customers!

Did great with both of my kids! My son has autism and it was his first haircut. She was so patient. There are lots of toys to play with and fish tank. And the littles get to sit in a car!!

Very kid friendly. Whole toy section for the littles to stay occupied. Sherry was great with my two year old and he was sad when it was time to leave.

Excellent for kids! Sherry has tons of room and toys for the kids to play with while waiting. She is very kind and patient with all ages. PLUS she's fast. I had all 4 of my kids go and it took maybe an hour for all of them.

Sherry is the best hairdresser! My son and I have been repeat customers at her salon since it opened (and we were her customers before too). I won’t go anywhere else! Miss Sherry is amazing at what she does. Very friendly, quick, and efficient. I would leave her 100 stars if I was able. I hate that I live 3 hours away now, but I’m headed to Morgantown soon, so I’m skipping out on a local haircut in hopes she can squeeze me in when I’m in town. If I had more free time I would make the drive every two weeks just for a cut.

Ms. Sherry has cut sons hair a few times and today she did mine. I would like to say she is the calmest and most patient hairdresser that I have ever met. My son is 6, and very autistic. He absolutely hated haircuts with a passion. But when she cuts his hair she is beyond patient and understanding. She reassures him that he's doing good, no matter how hard he makes it for her to cut his hair. And she always does a very nice job. Today was the first time she cut my hair and she did an absolutely wonderful job. I showed her a picture and she adapted it to look good for me. Would absolutely recommend her to everyone.

Perfect place for my 2.5 yr old daughters' first haircut. Sherry was friendly and worked wonderfully with her. Great welcoming atmosphere and the waiting play area was a HUGE bonus. We're newer to Morgantown and this will be our go to salon for our family!
