A few months back I was looking for a new hair stylist. After a search of line, I decided to try to set an appointment with someone at the B Parlor. Luck would have it that they had an opening that very day and Filomena was available. I am absolutely delighted by her haircuts and I will continue to be a very happy customer for years to come!

B Parlor salon is the best! While I always see Filomena, who I love and adore (and who is incredibly talented), all the staff at B Parlor are amazing. Also the space is beautiful and welcoming and just a wonderful all around experience. Couldn't recommend them more!

Love the new salon, love Sammy Pasion. Finally someone who understands my crazy wavy hair! Sammy's cuts look great for weeks, and her product suggestions for keeping my hair looking almost as good as it does when she styles it are right on. Everyone in the salon is friendly and welcoming, as soon as you walk in the door. I love my Sammy hair days!

There is simply no one like Filomena. Talented, nice, patient and I can attest to this as I’ve been going to her for 10 years. I even drive back into the city for her. She cuts my hair like no other, and is just a lovely human all around. Gorgeous new salon too!

I found B Parlor while searching for keratin smoothing treatments in San Francisco. My consultation and cut with Claudia was so fun, informative, and confidence boosting. She listened carefully to my goals and concerns, helped me get out of my comfort zone, and let me have the final say on how far to go. It was also great to see salon owner Filomena and other stylists work with their clients. The entire salon staff seemed genuinely invested in providing clients with transformative experiences. I'm excitedly looking forward to my keratin smoothing appointment!

I wish I could rate more highly -- but I have had the experience that regardless of what I say I leave with an edgy haircut. I'm so glad i didn't go here before my sister's wedding! I asked for a classic, soft cut and walked away with the blunted, edgiest short bangs ever. It still looks cool but a far cry from what I wanted (and I even showed pictures OF MYSELF with the hairstyle i wanted to refresh).

Emily is amazing!!! I finally found the person who can deal with my head of thick wavy hair. Emily listens carefully and communicates clearly. She’s not only super talented, she’s kind and patient. I came here after reading a ton of other great reviews, and it's totally worth it. I've gotten 2 haircuts w. Claudia, and both have been exceptional. She listens and makes really great recommendations, all while being so kind & thoughtful. Their COVID & cleanliness policies are great too- you can tell lots of care is being taken to ensure patrons & staff are as safe as possible.

I had a all around fantastic experience with Justin. Justin took the time to earnestly listen to my hair concerns, typical hair style/effort I put I to my hair and what kind of look I was going for before offering valuable insight and suggestions. He gave the BEST scalp massage, did a fabulous job giving my hair texture and body, and gave me a styling tutorial (which was a huge bonus since we both own the same hair dryer.) Overall great experience and well worth the money.

I had an amazing first appointment at B Parlor! When I came to my appointment, my hair was really damaged and needed a lot of care. Filomena completely transformed my hair. She discussed my intake form and what I wanted to do with my hair in a lot of depth and we formed a plan together. She answered all of my questions and made suggestions for how I could achieve the look I was going for. She also gave me tons of styling tips and product recommendations. I left the appointment with the best haircut/color I’ve had in my life! My hair feels so healthy and the cut is perfect for my hair texture. It feels so much stronger and is way easier to work with and style. I will be recommending B Parlor to any friends/family who want to visit an amazing hair salon in the bay area!

Oh my gosh, what a refreshingly wonderful salon! I don't know if it's pandemic fatigue or general antisocial behavior on my part, but I absolutely loved the friendly, welcoming vibe this place exudes. Noeleen was amazing: she spent a ton of time with me walking through what I wanted cut and color-wise, was super knowledgeable and honest, and talked through and adjusted the plan as we went, keeping me in the loop at all times. The end result was better than I'd imagined - SO HAPPY. Will be back!!

Philomena took so much time ensuring she knew what I liked and disliked about my current cut/color, as well as using her expertise to inform me about options. I've never had someone take so much time on a cut to make sure the shape was exactly as described it would be to me. She also took extra time to explain all the steps of how she styled my hair. As a bonus, she was easy and fun to talk to on a number of topics. Highly recommend!
