Mia was fantastic with helping me get the style I wanted! She gave me tips on how to get the thickness back into my hair and she was friendly and made great conversation during the cut as well! The shop is eccentric and smells really nice! Highly recommend

I went in on October 12th, 2024 for a typical long hair cut. I had been going to Cue for over 5 years and had even brought my daughter to Babooshka to have her haircut. I had shared a personal experience 2 appointments ago with Cue about being harassed in my neighborhood and since then, she started acting really phony. When I mentioned it again to her at this 10/12/24 appointment she washed my hair so violently at my temples that I ended up with a severe headache for 3 days. After she did this to my temples, and I sat back in the chair for my haircut, she had the nerve to tell me, “you seem different….” When I was just trying to deal with her bashing in my temples during the hair wash. And had not said anything or acted any differently from how I normally act. I had considered Cue a professional until this interaction. It’s a shame she doesn’t respect long time, loyal clients especially bringing my daughter there. I’ll never bring my daughter there again, and I’ll never trust Cue again for a haircut or anything after this abysmal experience.

The owner of this shop is very unpleasant. If you want to be insulted for absolutely no reason, then deal with the owner. One thing I would suggest to the owner, is that if you are going to drive around in your car with your shops name on it, maybe you should not run red lights, break the law and then insult someone. Got the cut I asked specifically not to get. Went in after a butcher job with my last stylist hoping to salvage my somewhat longish hair. I asked not to have too much taken off in the back, to have the sides cut back because I didn’t want to have to put my hair behind my ears like a 90s soccer player. Wasn’t able to really have a good look at the outcome until my hair dried and I got home. The back was heavily chopped and the length of the sides untouched and I’m now forced to wear my hair like a 90s soccer player for a few months until it grows out enough for another cut. Didn’t listen to a word I said. Can anyone recommend a stylist to cut men’s long hair?

I had a botch Groupon balayage with copper tone. The copper was too intense for my cool and fair tone. I was embarrassed to go out. Even though she was booked, Cue was empathetic and worked me in the day that I called. I was floored by her kindness! She is an excellent communicator and has a calm energy. She checked in with me through the process. She could explain what happened, and what my options were going forward. I felt taken care of and safe. I'm now a brunette with shimmering copper highlights. I love it, and I'm sold on this salon.

I use to love getting my hair done by Cue. I had to cancel a appt because I tested positive for COVID and she charged me a $50 cancelation fee. Whatever. Then she proceeded to cancel my next appt less than a day in advance because she wanted to extend her vacation at a resort in Mexico. She’s always been on her own time, and you can expect to wait anywhere from 30min to an hour for your appt to begin. Fine. I went in knowing that. She always did my trim and half highlights to my satisfaction for about $260. The last time I visited her salon, I scheduled a 2 hr appt to get a few highlights and a trim. It took her 3 hours just to do my highlights, which came out very chunky, blocky, and not to her typical standard. Then, instead of honoring my appointment and finishing my cut, she left me sitting in a chair for an HOUR while she took another client. When I pointed out to her that I was supposed to be out of there by 6 and it was now pushing 8 pm and that I had 8:30 dinner plans, she told me I needed to wait until she was done with the client she took in the middle of my appointment. At about 8:15 I told her I needed her to wash the toner out of my hair and that I was disappointed that in spite of spending 4.5 hrs at her salon, I clearly was not going to get my hair cut. She tried to argue with me saying that she had been working the whole time. I told her I wasn’t going to argue and that I would just pay for the highlights. She then tried to charge me $390 saying that my hair was longer than it had been before (last service was about 4 months prior). Then, she refused to take credit card payment for my service and insisted I download Zelle. I left the salon with my hair wet and was late for dinner/had to show up with wet hair. Needless to say, I will not be back and do NOT recommend this salon.

A few years ago my now-husband highly suggested I stop going to Great Clips and come to Kait instead. I couldn't be happier! I typically really hate "forced" social interaction (like being trapped in a chair with someone talking to you) but Kait is easy to talk to and honestly has so many stories you can just sit and listen. She was doing trims while I was growing my hair out for my wedding (for two years thanks to COVID) and I was FINALLY able to get a real cut. TEN INCHES and it looks so good! I typically wouldn't go this short but we talked about it and she started cutting and kept asking if we were good and I trust her. My head is so much lighter ;) P.S. If you like purple you have found your color soulmate

Had my hair cut for the first time ever by Ms Zoe which like most people, you tend to be a bit scared when it's your first time with a new stylist! Let me tell you... She did a marvelous job! This is the first time I was completely satisfied with a haircut! I walked outta Babooshka's feeling fabulous. Slippers and all! 😆 Thank you Zoe, you're a doll and an excellent stylist and it was a pleasure meeting you! ❤️

I don’t recommend this place for curly haired people. When I spoke on the phone with them, they said they were not professionally trained to cut curly hair. I decided to go anyway since I was planning to only have my ends cut. I ended up deciding to cut more than 3 inches, and I wish I had gone to a person who is trained to cut curly hair to give me a better shape.

I waited two weeks for my appointment to have this exceptional long time hairstylist style my hair. Some context: since I lost my hairstylist five years ago, I’ve been hopping salons. Why? They either leave or have not done a good job on my hair or I don’t like their personalities. But the Babooshka hairstylist is an excellent hairstylist. She did exactly what I wanted done and gave me some valuable haircare advise. Her salon is filled with religious artifacts and plants from friends and customers. But they’re there just to decorate her salon because her hope for humanity is that they get along! Maybe, just maybe she will be my forever hairstylist!! (I snapped one pic but I’ll post it later when I find it)

I was recommended to this salon by a friend. I loved it! I had Zoe and not only did she take the time to listen to my concerns and issues about my hair, she made the experience so amazing and comforting. I have never had a hairstylist be so in tune with everything and she even knew how to calm my ridiculous anxiety. I also really love the haircut and style she did. Highly recommended!!

I’ve been here 3 times and they have been the best 3 haircuts of my life, no exaggeration. They know what to do with my weird curly/wavy hair. Also always take the time to listen to what you want and give you their expert advice when you need it. Also great for NB people. I will gladly keep driving 45 mins from Littleton to come here.

Kait was AH-MAZING! 10/10 would recommend! My hair and spirit felt elevated after our time together. She was very kind not to hair-shame me, since I haven’t had a hair cut in over 6 months, which I appreciated very much. She educated me on how to care for my hair to achieve my hair goals. She has a high passion for doing hair and it shows. Thank you for an amazing cut Kait!

Kait- She saved me! My stylist recently moved and I had to go to someone else and got butchered. I'm not one to care too much but I'm a man with longer hair and I walked out with a Karen bob cut. Haha. Kait worked magic with it and actually was able to make it pretty nice considering how little I had left to work with. And I just saw her for a second time now and for a person who hasn't seen my hair the way I like it I was actually really surprised at how well she was able to listen and understand what I was trying to get it back to! And she's just an all around lovely human being! I'm so stoked!

Very disappointed in the online scheduling process. I found what I thought was an available date for the stylist recommend to me and I put in my information. The system seemed to take it so I thought I had made an appointment. I called several days later to confirm since I hadn't received any further confirmation only to find out that until your appt. is "accepted" are you guaranteed that slot. Apparently, since I did this after hours, I was beat out by someone else even though that slot appeared to be open. No one bothered to call or email me to schedule another time, which led me to feel like my business wasn't needed. I won't try again as I think their appt. system is unfair and unreliable when you really need an appt..
