I reviewed the salon’s website and could easily review what I wanted to know. I like Goldwell coloring and this place was suggested from Goldwell. So I randomly pulled in one day. From the first person to the last everyone was very kind. I booked for the next day. I was warmly greeted and moved through a typical partial highlight experience. My comfort and being cared for was clearly their top priority. They allowed me to do a blow and go, which I’m not sure everyone would love, but it made me happy. My color was just as I had hoped for and my hair felt wonderful. Lindsay and Marie, thank you!

I wouldn’t recommend going to this place for a few reasons: 1. Bait and Switch - when I called to get pricing, they told me starting cost was $300. When I came in day of my appointment, they told me the cost for 3 hours was $350. My appointment took two hours and when I inquired about the cost, they told me starting cost was $350. Then, when I got home and opened their services pamphlet, it shows starting cost for my hair stylist’s “level” was $320. 2. Results were not consistent with expectations the salons set. They told me I would not have frizz. I followed their instructions of not washing for 24+ hours and using the kerasilk shampoo and conditioner I bought in store — washed my hair Friday night (8pm) and I have frizz (treatment was done by 1pm the Wednesday prior) . 3. I called the salon the Saturday after my treatment and left a voicemail (my stylist, Lyndsey, told me to check in and let them know how my hair was doing) to share how it was going and see what could be done (if anything) — no one answered. No one returned my call. I also left a feedback review they sent and no one followed up from that. Overall, the service at Bacio was underwhelming and I would not recommend.

Lyndsay did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I was BLOWN AWAY!! Not only was I extremely satisfied with her work, but it stayed all day and night and was also reasonably priced! On top of that, she was so wonderful and easy to talk to and made a great day even better. Such a fun, positive, easy-going person. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She even put a small amount of the lip product aside with me with an applicator so I could touch up and be spotless all night. Thank you so much Lyndsay!

Shannon was amazing!!! I came in to get a consultation because prior to that I went to another place to have face framing and a trim done to my hair. The stylist really messed up my hair and Shannon with her expertise was able to balance out my hair. I really do appreciate you Shannon for everything you did!!! 😊

I had an excellent experience here! I have very thick, frizzy, wavy, long hair. Shannon knew exactly how to work with it to make it look fantastic! I am shocked at how good she was able to make my tangled, frizzy mess of hair look. It is the best haircut and blowout I have ever gotten! She also gave me lots of great tips to maintain and style it to keep it looking good. Another plus, for me, was that she didn’t push any products on me and asked if I was more interested in the luxury line or a more budget friendly line. It was a no pressure atmosphere that I really appreciated. I will definitely be returning to her for all of my future cuts!

I went in for a quick trim/clean up some split ends (I asked for 1-2 inches off MAX) and they ended up chopping off over 6 inches of my hair. They informed me that the stylist was a level one, but genuinely I thought "how hard can a quick trim be?". Not only was it shortened to shoulder length when it was previously mid-way down my back...but the actual cut was choppy. Giving 1 star for the two other stylists who came over to help make my hair presentable. Because of their mistake, I now have to get hair extensions sewn in (I'm going to an event and don't want to be seen with this cut). This will cost me at least $1000+. I was told that the owner of the salon would be in touch about this incident but I haven't heard back as of yet.

Shannon is an absolute master with curly hair, if you have curly, unruly or just hair you don’t know how to manage she should be your go to.

Awful. Catie was my hair stylist. I came in with bleach blonde hair with a blue tint and I wanted her to remove the blue and dye my hair gray with a black root. She ended up dying my hair a darker blue than what I came in with and the roots turned out green. I asked her to fix the green and came in for another appointment and left again with green hair. She should have done a strand test to make sure the color was going to work. The salon didn't offer me a full refund. I spent over $500 and was only able to get back $120. The salon lied about having their return policy online and then the owner told me it wasn't on there and she would add it later. Awful costumer service and Catie is not capable of doing a shadow root or correct hair colors. Don't waste your money here. My hair is jacked now.

I followed Catie here from her previous salon and continue to make the drive all the way from Miami, FL whenever I can! Catie has been taking care of my hair for years and is consistently the only person who does my hair and leaves me happy about the outcome! She is fabulous about listening to my ideas or suggesting some fun trends she thinks will work well with my lifestyle, job, and the fact that I live so far away (so low-maintenance is key)! I always receive so many compliments on my haircut and balayage whenever I leave my appointments, and Catie is also great about recommending products or making sure I get the best/healthiest hair within my budget. I have also never felt pressured to do purchase anything specific, which I really appreciate about her. The salon itself is super cute and all of the staff there is lovely and friendly! I will continue to go to Bacio and see Catie as long as I can. Highly recommend both her and Bacio!

I just moved to NC a couple months ago and the minute I moved down here I’ve been looking for a salon where I felt like I was going to be heard. I ran into Bacio Salon and made an appointment with Catie, BEST DECISION EVER! Catie is such a sweetheart who listens to what you want but also is transparent. She gave me the most beautiful blonde balayage that goes amazing with my skin tone , B3 treatment that transformed my hairs health and an amazing cut that sculpts my face; I can’t stop taking pictures! Not only that, she knows how to hold a conversation and make you feel comfortable. I finally found an amazing hairstylist who I will keep going back to!

Katrina is my hairstylist. She cut my hair yesterday for the third time and I am very pleased with her. I have long, very thick hair and I have struggled for years with finding someone that will listen when I try to explain that I would like to have a “style” while keeping length. Katrina got it right the first time! She was able to keep some length, give me a style I love and take away some of the weight of my thick hair! The salon is very welcoming and relaxing. A happy new client!!!

Moved to RAleigh 4 months ago. I "found" Jane after a 22 year hiatus. She did my hair in CT and took considerable training at high-end schools in NYC. After Googling "Goldwell salons" in Raleigh, Bacio Salon was at the top. After my six moves in 22 years throughout the east coast, there she was....JANE. I have a short/medium stacked 'bob.' Search no more....Jane is over the top phenomenal. Best 'find' in RAleigh since the Farmers Market.

Finally got the color I’ve been trying to get for about 40 years! Katie is a master at color especially for hard to lighten hair (to blond). Plus the salon was clean, serene & lovely and the staff is super friendly. I love my hair now!

I am fairly new to Bacio Salon and I love it. My stylist, Shannon, really listens to all my "wants" for my hair. She has consistently given me great color (and advice) and most recently, an awesome new hair cut :) I highly recommend this salon.

I followed my stylist (Shannon) to this salon when she moved and couldn't be happier she did. Shannon does my color and highlights and understands my hair (curly) and works with me to get what I am looking for. She is super flexible, gives good advice and is a lovely person. She doesn't push product but will give recommendations if you request. The salon itself is open, light, clean and has really warm front desk staff. Lots of parking and a convenient location to 540/major arteries in Raleigh.

The stylists at Bacio are so accommodating and professional. They offer amazing suggestions when I’m not sure where I’m looking to go with my style, and the products they carry are top notch! This is definitely my #1 Raleigh salon.
