Jen is amazing, she currently does my nails and has been for the last two years. She is professional and courteous. Sometimes when I'm stuck for picking a color, she will help me find something new.

I had an appointment with Monica today for a wash and cut and I'm so happy with it! I went home and styled my hair and it looks great! No more dead ends like frayed rope, clean cut layers, and I love it! Thank you! I'll be back in 3 months for maintenance

Referred my sister. Showed up for 930 appointment, shop still dark. Waited 5 minutes & she left. No call from stylist or shop. Very disappointed.

To the person not pleased with her services from Tanda, first, I would like to say I am also a former hairstylist and pretty picky about my hair. Tanda is great. I understand that you may have liked it at first and then decided you didn't, but you should have gone back and talked to her not just blasted a bad review. I also understand that sometimes we don't want to wait for what we want, but I can assure you, if Tanda said you need to wait to do something else, it is in your and your hairs best interest. As for the permanent color... Unless you specifically said you didn't want that, it is what any hairstylist would have used. Tanda has been doing hair for 40 years and is a great stylist and colorist. I am sorry you didn't like your hair, as a good stylist we really do want people to love their hair and most are willing to work with you to make it right.

Tanda was absolutely great!!! As a male with long hair I have no idea what I’m doing so her expertise is a tremendous help. Couldn’t recommend enough!!!

Was going to stop in to get a hair cut after I got a tattoo today. One of the workers cam out and yelled at my elderly mother for blocking the view of the store. I will never let someone who treats elderly in such a way to handle any business of mine.

Rita is AMAZING! Knows what she’s doing and so reasonably priced! Everyone is always so scared to touch my hair because of the frizziness but she jumped right in and got done what I wanted done!

This place was fantastic!! Staff is super fun and friendly, the place is decorated beautifully, and they did an amazing job on my hair! I got highlights and a trim with layers. One of the best experiences I've had at a salon!

Allie is so talented. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle I wanted. We discussed the length and amount of fringe that I would like. She did an awesome job. I love my hair.

Ally was absolutely phenomenal!!! I have horrible anxiety when it comes to having my head and hair touched, to the point where my last hair cut had been a year ago when my mom gave it a rough trim. Ally talked to me the entire time, asking how I was doing and if it was okay to touch my hair. It set me so at ease with the situation and I left with some great knowledge to help start taking care of my curls instead of just giving them a lick and a promise of care. I will definitely be returning when my next trim is needed.

Pretty much came in as a walk-in, everyone made me feel right at home! Very welcoming! Tanda, had availability and talked to me as if we’ve been friends for years 😊 I showed her my hair inspiration ideas, and she did not disappoint! I’ve found my hair salon yall!

Tanda was able to get me scheduled very quickly. I told her what I wanted. She gave me exactly what I asked for. Stated that she remembers being a little girl and having way too much hair cut off when it was only supposed to be a trim. Vicki is also great! She has done a few perms, some hair color and trims for me as well. Atmosphere is friendly and lively. I saw one of the hairdressers go to the back and get water for an older lady. How sweet! All in all, would absolutely go back! This place is cost friendly and the anxiety we all feel before getting our hair done is non-existent when you book with Backstage.

3rd time coming back, these ladies do not disappoint! These ladies are the few who know how to cut and change my hair, while keeping my wants in mind. Definitely recommend if you love a great haircut and a great environment.

All the girls are so kind and funny. You can count on a great cut, style, perm or whatever you need with a friendly attitude. My husband and I both go to Backstage. And the price of the services are more than reasonable. Love you guys ❤️

Looking for a great local Salon in Colorado Springs? I finally found one in Backstage Salon/Barbershop! They offer anything you ladies would ever want/need in a Salon with plenty of very professional hairstylists to choose from. For me as a man my needs are likely much less complex as I only need a great cut and beard trim. Samantha is my go to stylist/barber @the_redhead_barber on instagram. She is kind, patient and strives to do a job of impeccable quality and meeting no exceeding expectations of her clients, she takes reservations but what works so well for me is walk ins as well. Please go see the beautiful red head barber and tell her Brian recommended you! Thank you

Marylin was absolutely amazing! I had previously gotten a hack job done and she fixed every complaint I had. Having bangs takes a lot of maintenance and I already had my next appointment set before leaving. Not only did she do a great job on my hair she is also very personable and kind. Tanda Brys at Backstage Salon did an amazing job with my cut, color and blowout. I love the location, so easy to get to. The decor in the shop was so cute and the set up for the stylists was perfect. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere! I give this salon and Stylist 5 stars!
