Maddie H did my hair and she literally ate. In the best way she killed exactly what I asked for when I came in. The whole staff there was super friendly and the environment was super positive and fun. I would highly recommend here for anyone of any age!!!

Got a wash and cut from Eva yesterday, I came in after getting a bad haircut from other salon fully expecting to have to lose most of my length. She was able to keep it longer than I thought and blended it out perfectly. I love it!

I was assigned to Eva, The service was good, but I'm not happy with the final result. The products burned my skin, not allowing me to breathe during the process. It was so bad that she had to take it off before ironing it completely. They overcharged me by telling me at the beginning that the service with products included would be $225 but in the end they charged me $257, something I am not happy about. This is my experience and I didn't like it at all. And I was getting this done for my graduation for tomorrow I’m so disappointed.

After booking an appointment days in advance and requesting someone who specialized in natural hair I was told that there wouldn’t be enough time to finish my hair and that I would just have to leave with it unstyled. I left looking like I had just washed my hair. I am a black woman so of course this isn’t wasn’t I was expecting my hair to look like after paying almost $200. If you’re a black woman DO NOT go here because “they won’t have time” to finish and style your hair. Absolutely livid! In response to the owners response. I was not 30 mins late. I called and notified that I had driven to the wrong location and was told it was okay. I arrived 15 mins late and waited another 15 as she was still working on someone’s head. When asked on the phone i stated I had curly, very thick and long hair and then jokingly made the comment you’re referencing to my mom not to you or whoever was on the phone. When I was originally told she wouldn’t have time she said since her next appointment wasn’t getting much done it should be fine. Then after the color had been applied was told I would have to leave unfinished. Try accountability instead of lying about customer interactions

On Wednesday I went to Bak 4 More Hartland to get a haircut. I was assigned to Madi. I explained to her exactly what I wanted. I have short hair to begin with but needed a cut. She tried about 4 times to get it right. I kept telling her I wanted it shorter. She just couldn't get there. And, she didn't even clip my neck which had long hairs hanging down. I paid my $35 and tipped her, left there and drove straight to Great Clips on Redding Road and they cut my hair exactly the way I had explained it to Madi. They evened up the cut that Madi did which was very uneven. They layered it exactly like I asked. Great Clips gave me an excellent haircut, exactly what I asked for, all for $15.00. I will NOT be going back to Bak 4 More Hartland !!

Been there twice now , not a great experience honestly. I walked out both times with completely different than I asked for. What was supposed to be a balayage turned out to be uneven highlights and blotchy, three days after I got it done my hair was yellow and brassy looking. Went back for a redo to “fix it” & walked out with brown hair again! Basically just hated it both times. I’m a pretty understanding person but this is not okay at all. If someone is not able to give me what I’m asking or even close to what I’m wanting, you should just be honest and say that! Or atleast go over what your going to do/or show me what you can do color wise in that session and see if I’m okay with it instead of giving me what YOU want! I’m really upset! So I agree to disagree and keep the peace because I’m not going to argue over it when you don’t see a wrong with anything! Best of wishes but this is not the place for me!

We had Lashay and she was awesome!! Me and my girlfriend came in and she did a fade on my hair and added a red bayalage to my girlfriend's, which she only ever colors her hair black because she's scared to try anything else on her hair. Well her hair is long and thick and holds color very well and she was amazing with asking us questions on what we wanted and wanted to make sure we were prepared price wise. We were there for a few hours but spending our time with Lashay in her chair and chatting while she made me feel refreshed and my girlfriend Amber feel beautiful when we left was amazing ! Highly recommend! :-)

Loved my cut and color! Briana King did an AMAZING job taking her time with me to get my color just right. I hadn’t been to a salon in years. I got lazy having my husband do box color on me. I forgot what a real blonde should look and FEEL like! She was amazing! Back on the salon wagon. Super cute place! Clean, friendly! Definitely sending Briana some friends! Go see the Hair Fairy!

New Hartland Store launch...think I need a more seasoned stylist. Also 3 hrs in a chair, to fix a color mistake...hmm...between the super short cut (I said I wanted 2" off, chin- shoulder, his is now a below-the-ears lob!!! I am still supposed to return for more 'fixing' of my part line...ummm...
