Update Feb 2025: Still my go to place to get my massage and facials. Their service is impeccable! After cancelling my membership at another establishment, I decided to give this place a try. I booked with Shondolyn and I am so glad I did! She is beyond amazing and she is gifted with her hands! I also recommended my husband to start going here as well. The front staff is very professional and courteous. The atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and calm as soon as you walk in through the door. And I love the fact that they don't have a membership program. Highly recommended!!!

I went in for a signature 80 minute massage for the first time with shondolyn and she was amazing! The pressure was perfect and the attitude of all the employees was wonderful. Couldn’t recommend more

So happy to make Bambu my new regular Massage place. The ambiance is welcoming, soothing, and perfect to get you into the massage mindset. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. I've worked with Alexis a few times, and she's amazing. Last night, I worked with Kiya for the first time- she did not disappoint with the deep tissue! Prices are more than reasonable for the experience you get. Booking is super easy on the website, and there's usually reasonable availability. Love Bambu!

I was on my way to the nail salon next door to Bambu,when I noticed the 69.95 massage price on the windows. I told myself that's a good price, I 'm going to treat myself to that. So, I called and made an appt.for the next week. While on the website, I noticed the express facial for 39.95. Since, I'd never had a facial before, I figured the price was good and I am worth it. Shondalyn was my massage therapist. She was excellent and very respectful of privacy and any issues I might have regarding pain. When she was finished, I left out feeling awesome. This was my third time getting a massage and it was the best. I left out knowing this would be my new monthly to myself. I enjoyed my first facial. I could tell the difference in my skin. My face was tingling when I left out. I can't remember the young lady's name, but I was happy with my service. I added facial to my just for me list. I was excited to tell my daughters about my experience! I gave one a gift certificate for her birthday so she could try it out. I treated my middle daughter to an express facial. She is particular about some things, but after her facial was done by Angelina, she came out with the biggest smile on her face and gratefully thanking me for treating her to the facial. Today I returned for my monthly massage and facial. Shondalyn's massage was great as I expected. OMG! This time my facial was done by Angelina and like my daughter, I felt awesome! I treated my friend to a facial, also done by Angelina and she too said it was very good! I am so glad I stumbled across this gem!! The staff, the customer service and the ambiance are awesome! I look forward to the next time! I highly recommend this place. The prices are very affordable and it's a great experience, when you're looking for special treat for yourself this is an excellent choice!

Tina and Wendy were absolute miracle workers. I have traveled all around and Tina hands down gave me the best massage of my life and also gave me tips on how to prevent getting so locked up and exercises to prevent further issues. Wendy’s reiki was exactly what I needed during a very traumatic time, and her work helped me get through Helene and the damage inflicted on my family and friends. Forever grateful for them and cannot recommend them highly enough. I will be back. Thank you so much!!!

I have been a client of Bambu for a few years. I don't go as often as I should. All my experiences with the therapist over the years have been good. However, today my experience with Zakiya was spectacular. Before my session Zakiya asked if I had any key areas that needed special attention. She was very mindful of asking me about my comfort level during my massage. I didn't realize how much stress I had in my lower back and hips, until she got to those areas. I began to cry all of a sudden as she massaged my tension away. It was so unexpected she explained to me that sometimes that happens. She was so gracious asking me did I need a moment. I told her no please proceed. My experience was amazing. With all that's going on in the world with the hurricanes, election drama and wars I realize that I have been carrying body stress. I also realize that my stress is no comparison to those who are dealing with all of these tragedies personally.. Thank you Zakiya for your five star service. I plan to continue requesting you and recommending you to everyone I know. Gloria,

My husband and I went here for a couples massage for our anniversary. I'd start by saying the customer service was excellent and the room was very comfortable, loved how they dim the lights so low for comfort, this is probably the only reason I'm rating 2 stars. Other than that my therapist didn't cover most areas of my body as my husbands therapist covered all. Mine was more focus on kinks in shoulder area where she took her time & the rest of body she massaged too quickly. My husbands only complaint is excessive pressure when being massaged by his therapist. Not worth the price at all.

This is my favorite place to go when I need to feel refreshed and relaxed. I have enjoyed several different types of massages and facials and loved each one. My husband and I recommend selecting Kiya as your massage therapist (although I have been massaged by other therapists and they are all very good) but we love Kiya! She is very professional and kind and is also a really great listener! You can tell she cares about your needs and really wants to do her best to make you feel your best. Another bonus is I have very sensitive skin and I never have issues with any of the products used at Bambu. I actually started purchasing my skin care products from them as well! Highly recommend it his location!

Clean, comforting, and calm used to describe the atmosphere of this spa. One of best massages is performed by Kiya for both pregnancy and regular body massages. She is easy to connect with, maintains a relaxed ora, and uses the right amount of pressure for targeted areas… always a pleasurable experience!!

Bambú Massage & Jeff have been my preferred massage therapist for over 10 years. His organic oils and tried and true massage techniques soften my skin and soothe my aching muscles unlike anyone else. His homemade, clean burning soy candles allow me to have the same relaxing scents at home. I always knew he had found his niche and that it wouldn't be long before his business expanded. And the results are amazing 👏 The new location in Huntersville is a combination of modern chic and relaxing calmness synonymous with massage. I have been coming to Bambu for over 10 years, 10 YEARS!! Jeff has been amazing and always respectful - I have had some sketchy experiences in the past and am so thankful that I can trust Jeff. The experience starts when you walk in: relaxing atmosphere with beautiful decor, front desk staff that are extremely friendly and attentive, and the seasonal scents of candles that are also available for purchase (hand poured soy candles that burn clean). The space is always clean, always. The massage oil they use is great, especially the coconut oil they use in the summer. And, the essential oils available for aromatherapy are such a nice touch. Professional - exceptional customer service - a value that is incomparable!
