Disappointing Service Experience. During a visit to Harriet's, the hotel restaurant, we stopped by the spa to inquire about services and browse products. The interaction fell short of expectations for a luxury establishment. The receptionist, an older black woman named Brianna, appeared preoccupied with her phone and showed minimal engagement when we approached. When we requested pricing information, she directed us to an iPad without offering additional assistance. Our follow-up questions were met with visible frustration and unprofessional responses. The service quality did not align with the spa's premium positioning and pricing. As local residents seeking a regular spa establishment, this interaction has influenced our decision to explore other options. Disappointing.

I had the best massage ever from Amal! Spa has gorgeous city views and us amazing way to thoroughly pamper yourself. Session included aromatherapy, hot towels and exactly the right amount of pressure from Amal's magic hands! Followed the massage with a soothing soak in their outdoor tubs, which was another worthwhile splurge. I left the spa feeling like I was floating on a little cloud. I cannot recommend enough! 10 stars!

On a Saturday after Thanksgiving I visited the Bamford with a friend, and while there were some positives, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a luxury establishment. The front desk staff and our masseuse were lovely and professional, but several issues made it hard to justify the premium pricing. The steam room was out of order, which was disappointing for a high-end spa. The presentation throughout the facility needed attention – the fruit and refreshments looked uninviting, and we noticed staff members casually sitting in public areas, which felt unprofessional. Having experienced the Bamford in Miami, the disparity in quality was quite noticeable. While the Brooklyn location might have different standards, the premium pricing suggests a higher level of refinement should be maintained. Though the core services were satisfactory, the overall experience needs significant improvement to match both the price point and the standards set by comparable luxury establishments.

This Spa is wonderful! You smell the luxurious aroma before you even enter the space. It seems like I had pulled a muscle; I woke up and wasn’t able to look over my left shoulder. I explained everything to the manager Albert. He was so attentive and knew exactly which treatment and therapist could help me. Maria was amazing! When I left, I was still a little sore, but I was able to actually look over my left shoulder. What a relief!! Can’t wait to go back.

I had not used a male for massages in the past, but my first experience didn’t disappoint. Zephie Xu was the right amount of pressure and he really targeted my problem areas, as instructed. He also had great table-side manner. I would definitely use him again.

The Bamford Spa is the perfect place to unwind and relax amidst the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn. The entire experience felt very luxurious and curated. I was greeted at the front by Lindsey—she was so kind and welcoming, despite the fact I was running a tad behind schedule. She made my stressful morning completely disappear as she showed me around the spa. So grateful for her positive energy and hospitality. Maria provided a wonderful 50-minute full body massage. She was very receptive to feedback regarding pressure, it was an all-around excellent service she provided. The spa is stocked with everything you need to relax (flavored water, healthy snacks, relaxation room, steam room, high-quality shampoo/conditioner/lotion.) I could have stayed here all day! Thanks for a wonderful experience, I’ll be back!!

This year I stayed at 1 hotel for my birthday. My big desire was visit spa and treat myself. I did a unique massage called Balanced treatment. I really liked the combination of different techniques and the professionalism of the massage therapist.The massage was incredible and I was very relaxed)))) After the massage, I spent time in the lounge area, with delicious tea and fruits. There was a wonderful atmosphere with relax music and electric fireplace. The entire staff of the spa was very attentive and pleasant. I also tried that day a hammam floatation therapy. Highly recommend if you didn’t try it before. I combined it with Facial LED mask. Definitely recommend this spa for you if you want to get high-quality service and a wonderful experience, especially for celebrate any occasions. Thanks to all the spa staff who helped make this day so special)))) Feeling excited to come back again)

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! I booked a 1 hour and 20 min treatment, I was running late because I had an emergency and called to let them know. They said it would cut into my treatment time (though it doesn’t say that ANYWHERE that they don’t have any grace period) since it was still on me I said that’s fine. I got there 12 min late. so you’d think that i would have an hour and 8 min of treatment right? Nope. My treatment was less than 40 min because they start the treatment the second you walk in the door. So my treatment lasted included a locker tutorial, tour, me getting into my robe, and for the therapist to set up. When I brought this up to the front desk person she said that they couldn’t do anything because they were closing. Why did you have that time slot available to book if you weren’t going to give me the treatment I paid for??? Like i said it’s ridiculous that you have 0 grace period but i accepted it and i still didn’t even remotely get what i paid for. To be honest, the massage therapist was nice but the massage that i did get was average at best. I’d recommend going anywhere but here. This place is over priced and they are not customer focused.

We planned a 12-hour layover in hopes of exploring the city, but due to rain we changed plans to include a spa day. Beautiful spa with amazing staff! Facial by Lena and massage by Zara, both were absolutely wonderful! Clean facilities with all the amenities. I feel like a new person! Will definitely be back next time 😊

After a meh experience a year ago I went back and was delighted to discover that everything has been up-leveled. Lindsay checked me in and made me feel so welcome. They have hugely upgraded the amenities in the locker room. There is fresh fruit in the waiting area. And it was one of the best massages of my life. I would absolutely go back regularly now. I left feeling totally rejuvenated.

My husband got me a gift certificate for the Mother’s Day and finally I had a chance to use it. My facial with Lina was amazing!!! Best treatment I've gotten in a long time. Entire facility is beautiful and relaxing. Couldn't recommend more!

Oh my goodness gracious! What an AMAZING massage I experienced, at the hands of Mimi!! I had never had one as thorough as this, with attention to every single detail and every part of my body (well, almost every part! Ha!). How Mimi manipulated the hot stones was masterful! My loving and thoughtful son-in-law gifted this day of pampering to his wife, my daughter, (they live here) and myself on my last day of my 2 week stay here in Brooklyn. He also bought us both facials, and Lena was wonderful, too. She gave me an LED and collagen facial and I was glowing afterwards! I cannot wait to come back in town and visit this beautiful spa again! It is truly stunning! Thank you!

Maleek was tremendous during my 80 min deep tissue massage. Highly recommended, and Victoria at the front desk mentioned he does excellent sports therapy as well. The steam bath was a nice treat before freshening up with a shower. Will be back!

Had a deep tissue massage with Zephie and a facial with Karina. Both were absolutely fantastic! The massage was thorough, professional, and deep pressure but never felt like too much. They also checked in about areas to pay more attention to or to avoid which I really appreciated. I felt so relaxed afterwards. My facial with Karina was maybe the second one I had ever received, so I don’t have much to compare to. But I really enjoyed the attention to detail that she showed. From analyzing my skin and recommending products to making sure I was comfortable with all the aspects of the treatment. And the facial massage that was part of it was such a treat for anyone who has migraine or sinus issues. Game changer!

I had an amazing 80m massage with Maria. Truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I will absolutely be booking again with her The spa facilities were pretty nice especially for NYC, but were a bit bare bones - the extent of the facilities are a relaxation room and coed steam room.

Run……..don’t walk……to Bamford Wellness Spa! The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your experience the best ever! Make sure to ask for MImi! She is an angel and has magic hands that will melt you! I left feeling like I was floating on air and I am counting the seconds until I can return again! Hopefully sooner than later! Infinitely grateful to the entire team for making my experience there over the top!

Beautiful Spa, but I would say the services aren’t really worth the money. I had some treatments done on a recent visit, and it felt incredibly rushed and mediocre at best. The Spa felt really unorganized as well. Also, while showering after my treatments the handle in the shower broke (see photo) and I was unable to adjust the temperature which was way too hot. Probably won’t be back to this location but the one in South Beach is phenomenal.

I feel like Bamford Spa deserves a B. The facility itself is quite pretty and very clean. Everyone that worked there were kind, and radiated positive energy. I didn't feel like the whole experience was entirely relaxing. For the price, I'm not sure if it's entirely worth it. The energy sculpt facial was my favorite, while the massage and scrubs felt a bit underwhelming. It does feel a tiny bit unorganized at times especially if you have multiple treatments.

I had the Bamford Luxury Treatment 80 today with Maleek and it was incredible, one of the best massages I've ever had. Completely rejuvenating, like a total body reset. I loved the whole experience and left feeling like a million bucks.
