Mercedes has been my stylist since 2012. I am not loyal to a salon...I am loyal to Mercedes and will follow her wherever she hangs her license! She has taken me from short and red to long and blonde throughout the years and I am looking forward to how she is going to help me start embracing these sneaky gray hairs as Simply Golden.

Melissa Dean cuts all of my family's hair! (My husband, my daughter, and me). She is not only a delightful and kind person, she is also a very talented stylist who listens to what you want and then delivers it. And while she doesn't rush, she works very, very quickly so we are in and out of there in no time. You will love Melissa!

Mercedes rocks! She accepted my booking last minute and gave me exact instructions on where to park and access the building(that means so much to someone who gets anxiety with unfamiliar places). I’m not quite good at articulating what I want but she interpreted my vision better than what I had in mind. She doesn’t do balayage but she is a beast with highlights and boy does she deliver! They were classy and beautifully placed in my hair. Subtle yet noticeable. This was my first visit however it won’t be my last. I would 1000% recommend her!

Mercedes gave me a haircut over a month ago and I’m still obsessed with the results. My hair hasn’t looked this good in forever and I no longer trust anyone else to cut it! I typically leave salons feeling iffy about results but Mercedes made me feel incredible! Book with her!!

I got a very expensive, very unflattering haircut at another salon, so my appointment with Mercedes was essentially me pleading, "Help!" She gave me the most beautiful, easy, flattering cut and I couldn't be more thrilled. Since I saw her a few weeks ago, I've been able to just wash my hair, rub a little pomade through it, and GO. It falls perfectly and even my funky cowlicks are behaving. I've gotten tons of compliments. I feel like myself again... maybe even better :-) Mercedes is a gem!

Melissa gave me a haircut and blowout today. She told me it would most likely take 1.5 hours, but it only took her 45 minutes and I came out looking amazing. I would definitely recommend and will be back in the future. Give her a try if you haven't already!

Melissa has been cutting my hair and doing my highlights for a few years now and she is hands down the best stylist/colorist I have ever been to in my 30 years of getting my hair done. I have zero damage, no brassiness and the color grows out beautifully. She’s also a super awesome human being 😊

Melissa is the only person I trust with my hair. Not only is she a highly skilled stylist, but she listens and communicates well to ensure she understands exactly what I want. I have NEVER left a salon feeling 100% happy with my hair, until I met Melissa. Oh, and she is great with men's hair, too! My husband has gotten several cuts from her and has raved about them.

I love coming to my Bandit Salon appointment because I genuinely feel like my time spent with Mercedes is self-care. She listens, she guides, she suggests, and she's a ton of fun to talk to. Between the chilled glass of wine I can always count on, to the thoughtfully curated music playlists, I always look forward to ending my work day in Mercedes' chair. Not only does my hair look fantastic every time I leave (hate to brag but I get so many compliments) I really just like and enjoy Mercedes as a person. I trust her! She makes me feel at ease and she's funny as hell. I think that's important when building a relationship with your stylist. Being able to get Kevin Murphy products at the salon is convenient and helps me keep the style lasting long after my appointments. The space is gorgeous, clean, and inviting--and parking is a piece of cake which is unheard of in Austin! If you're looking for someone to take care of your hair needs I would recommend Bandit Salon. I won't ever gate-keep my beauty secrets! This place hooks it up. xx

Mercedes did a fantastic job with my haircut! She gave me exactly what I asked for and did it efficiently but carefully. It was fun to chat with her, and I loved the quiet, calming environment (on Saturdays it's only Mercedes and one client at a time in the salon.) I also appreciated that I could book my appointment online. I will definitely be returning.

Mercedes is an amazing hair stylist! I've been seeing her 10+ years. Followed her to 3 salons! She offers great hair care advice. Bandit Salon is a boutique salon. Super easy covered parking. Only 1 client at a time in the salon. Feels chill. Mercedes has a flexible schedule and always on time. Her cool photo artwork is fun to look at on walls. :)

Appointments are peaceful and customer focused versus chaotic and revenue driven. High quality products and a professional staff that leave you feeling gorgeous. Great hair starts with a great cut. Melissa is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! Every experience getting haircuts with her I leave feeling more confident than when I walked in - she’s quick, very good at working with hair, fun to talk with, has a lovely studio with lots to look at, and you absolutely get your money’s worth. Highly recommend, my girlfriend has also gotten her hair done here a few times and has always had great experiences as well - will attach a photo!

Mercedes has been my stylist for several years. I love her! She's so good at what she does, I've followed her to 3 different salons. She is an expert colorist and I get compliments on my haircut all the time. Oh, and did I mention she is always on time!! I really like where she is now at Bandit. It's a convenient location and lots of covered parking. Beautiful salon and you get to see her amazing art work on the walls.

Mercedes is an absolute gift. I recently went to her for the first time and she transformed my entire look. I hardly had to describe what I was looking for, she intuitively knew. The result was even better than I could have imagined. Also, she has a wealth of knowledge and gave me all sorts of information and tips on how to properly care for my hair. Now, I sit at home in the evening and brush my hair, feeling like a princess. I am never going to anyone else.

Mercedes is awesome. She rescued my hair from a rather dubious cut, which I could only describe as Kidd n’Play, or at least Play styling. One cut with Mercedes and sold. I can’t recommend her enough.

I've been going to Melissa for the past 7 years and she is AMAZING! No matter if I ask her to make me blonde or dye my hair dark she never disappoints. Not only does she do a great job cutting/highlighting hair but she is also an amazing person.
