Let me start by saying Bangz Art hair salon is one if a kind when it comes to professional skills, customer service, and affordability. Jaime, the owner is incredibly talented and kind. She knows her stuff!!! Jamie also knows who to book you with given their set of skills (all are incredible) I was seen by Naikary for a root shadow and lightening. She was so pleasant to talk to and really brought my vision to life. I am so happy to have Naikary as my new hair stylist. I am excited for my daughter's to see her for their needs as well. Jamie was perfect for me. Great color, style, taught me some secrets to making my hair wavy and working with my thinning hair issues. Plus, it only took about 2 hours! Real, down to earth, experienced, excellent teacher.

Jamie has a talent for what she does, having visited in the past seeing her do wonders with color, and finally in getting my hair shaped up most recently. Shes highly knowledgeable in her craft and I've learned interesting hair and worldly things each time I've went in. Shes friendly and provides an enjoyable experience... only things to note is with the restaurant at the end of the plaza, come a little early as not to fuss over parking.

The vibe of this place was really relaxing and calm I didn’t get my hair cut but my friend did. I enjoyed waiting for her as I got to enjoy some tea and cookies. The music was smooth not loud and disturbing she was very kind and generous not expensive. Very clean and intimate.

Jamie is AMAZING. Quick, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, experienced, fun - everything you could want in a Stylist - PLUS she's totally affordable!! She even worked me in the next day as a new client. The salon itself is welcoming & warm, the location is convenient & easy to find. I can only say positive things about my experience! Highly recommend giving this salon a chance and I bet you come back ;)

This is a warm, friendly place, and it seems like they can give you any hairstyle, from traditional to contemporary and edgy. They're great at working with my mom, who's had a stroke and has a hard time explaining what she wants.

My daughter wanted a blonde Ambre, she got a beautiful one! Her hair was rich looking, she was sooo happy and just loved it. I would recommend this Salon highly. Very talented true artists, you won't be dissatisfied.

Where to begin! I am so profoundly grateful that I cried in my car. I color my hair at home. I am not financially able to see a hairdresser as often and my hair requires upkeep. I usually do an easy all over color and it comes out fine. I decided I wanted to lighten my hair and saw a "highlighter for dark hair" and tried it out. Well, HOT ROOTS is an understatement as to what my hair looked like when I was done with it. I was at a loss. Didn't know what to do, had never experienced this before and felt hopeless. I had a recent nightmare happen at a DIFFERENT salon and was wary of going anywhere but I needed help. I work at a place where I have to be fashionably correct. So, I googled "best hairdresser in AZ" and the list I opened had Bangz at the very top! So I called and spoke to Jamie. She heard me out, understood my dilemma and found a miraculous way to squeeze me in SAME DAY!!! She worked on my hair for hours, in between her pre-scheduled clients, and not just "made it look okay" but fixed my roots, the rest of my hair (including a trim and giving me a style to work with now) and had my hair looking and feeling absolutely amazing! I am astonished at the kindness of Jamie, first and foremost. To do everything she could to help me, a new client, never even been there before. Not berating me for what I had done and spending the time to teach me about what I did wrong, what I can do in the future, showing me how to style my hair etc.. Secondly, I am astounded at her talent and knowledge and demeanor about the entire art of dressing hair. In one session she turned my ORANGE roots to a nice deep red color and pulled through some highlights (properly) to even out the tone with the rest of my deep red hair and through a simple trim, without taking much hair off at all, reshaped and styled my hair, layers, and bangs. She took her time, she showed me what to do, explaining things along the way, she was honestly THEE best hairdresser I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I may not have the money to go back all the time, but you can bet your ass I will always see her before anyone else (including myself) 😀!!!! I cannot thank her enough! I am really happy with my new look and so is everyone else. All over a huge mistake in my own bathroom. I am excited to go back in the near future to continue the journey to lighten my hair to my desired shade. *Everything happens for a reason* xoxo

I have been seeing Jamie since I was 14 years old, and, well, let's just say... I'm a mature woman. So, a while. Everyone compliments me on my hair, and I'm not being prideful- it's really ALLLLLL Jamie. She has been a practicing hair stylist- may, ARTIST, for decades and had been instructing and mentoring and continuing her education all the while. She never lets her knowledge and skill set grow stale. I love the hair color product she uses because my hair is never damaged, always silky and shiny. She always advises me to do things with my hair color that will grow out well, versus (as I suspect many stylists do) color that looks terrible after six weeks so you HAVE to come back. Over the (ahem) many, (many many) years I've been seeing Jamie, I've been at varying levels of income. Sometimes I've been able to see her every six weeks and cost was not an issue. Sometimes, i wouldn't be sure when I could come back. It never mattered, she always made sure that my cut and color would "grow out well" and it always has. Always. I love her personal style and vibe, her confidence in what is possible and what's inadvisable, and how those two can overlap a little when a client gets a wild hair to do something a little crazy (which... you know... it happens). I just think she's great and highly recommend her.
