Jose consistently does a great job with our little guys hair. He is great with kids, has kids shows to entertain them during their cut and an endless supply of lollipops. Highly recommend!

Jose gave our son his first haircut! Our son didn't cry at all. He was so comfortable. Picked where he wanted to sit and what stuffed animals would sit with him. Jose was so gentle and patient. At the end he asked us if it was okay to give our son a lollipop. Would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a kids haircut.

My husband and I brought our 2 year old son here for his first haircut and we couldn't have been more pleased by our experience! Jose clearly loves what he does and is amazing at it! The whole studio space is designed for kids with toys and options for cars for the kids to sit in. He was so patient, so friendly and so skilled - our son has curly hair, which sometimes can be hard to work with - he had no issues and we're so happy with how his cut turned out! We will definitely be back!

Jose was so patient with our two year old during her haircut. He let her get used to the room before getting started and the space had plenty of toys, colorful art, and a tv to keep her occupied. He did a really nice job on her haircut, layering it to help as it grows out. Would recommend to anyone with children!

The salon owner was AMAZING with my son who has sensory processing disorder. He worked quickly and efficiently and somehow managed to achieve a great haircut with an unruly 2-year old. We will definitely be coming back!

We are visiting Chicago and our 2 years old was very tentative about getting a haircut in a new place. Jose was very patient and got our son comfortable before giving him a great haircut. Highly recommend this place.

Camacho did a great job on our son’s and daughter’s hair. He is such a character and we really enjoyed spending an hour hearing his many stories from 50+ years of cutting hair.

Fantastic experience for my 7 year old. Jose created the perfect space, it is in a hall of multiple small spaces/nail salons so would recommend calling to find your way in. I've been cutting my son's hair for years and I've gotten ok at it, but my son is happy not to have little holes in his haircut, and Jose was flexible with texturing the bangs a bit more at the end for our personal preference. This is a one man operation and my son is still gushing about how nice he is!

I brought my toddler and Jose did a great job. So much better than the typical kid haircut places that I tried taking him before and they couldn’t get the job done. This hair dresser has years of experience and was able to cut my kids hair while my kid was standing up and moving around. Can’t wait to go back!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I had an appointment this Saturday at 1 pm and the guy never showed up and my phone calls kept going straight to voicemail. I wasted $10 on parking and drove an hour to see him. Very very unprofessional!!!!

Jose was so patient and kind with my 3 year old son. We called and got an appointment with him the same day. He greeted us with an assortment of lollipops and cut his hair right infront of the TV he had playing with my sons favorite show playing! Jose made the experience very enjoyable and he is by appointment so we were the only ones at his salon VIP treatment highly recommend:)

My son is very afraid of haircuts and we have had the most miserable time trying to get him to get one (and we have had to walk out of few hair salons in the past without actually getting a haircut). Took him to Bear with Me last weekend and Jose was AMAZING with my son. So so patient and knowledgeable. Gave my son plenty of time to adapt and get comfortable, and was able to give him a haircut with no tears or tantrums. His place is also perfect for children who may be intimidated by the usual hair salon set up as it is definitely geared towards kids. Five stars for the haircut and patience!

We took our little one for a first haircut. Super nice guy and great with kids! Located on the lower level of the building. Open 7 days a week from 8-8! Super convenient for busy parents!

Excellent is an understatement. I honestly have no words on how good mr Jose was. My son 2 has anxiety anywhere new he goes to. Mr Jose made sure he’ was comfortable before starting his cut. I will surely be back in a few months. Loved it. I highly recommend this place. Cozy and oh so baby friendly. 🤍💜

Like most, during the pandemic I became the family barber, but I thought at least once our son should have a professional do the job. Well, 10/10 recommend and will be going back We called ahead and Jose kindly helped us schedule for when was convenient to us even outside of the regular business hours. Jose was absolutely wonderful with our 13 month old son! His Bear With Me salon is designed for kids and right away my usually shy son was feeling comfortable and entertained. Jose had tons of tricks up his sleeve to make us all feel comfortable and having fun throughout the haircut. Plus, with his years of experience in cutting kids’ hair, it went quickly, smoothly, and looks adorable.

Jose is a master of his craft. We took our 1.5 year old child for a first haircut (it was down to their mid back) and Jose was able to deftly clip away as my partner held them. Jose was relaxed and warm and inviting right off the bat and his location couldn't be more perfect for young children. A better salon does not exist for this type of clientele and I can only imagine how wonderful he is for any age or need. Thanks so much Jose! We will be back!

My baby boy had his first haircut at 14 mo; from the moment he walked in he was mesmerized. Jose sat there and let baby slowly get used to the place. Lots of toys and mirrors kept him entertained. It was basically just us and Jose. Baby did great. We went back again for his second haircut.

We’ve taken our toddler to Jose twice and we love it. Our little guy plays with the toys and gets comfortable with Jose for a little bit at the start and then while he is still playing, Jose will start cutting his hair very calm and casually and takes his time according to how our son is handling it. Our son loves that he gets to play trucks and see Elmo and Goofy there, and sit in a hot wheels chair while getting haircut. After his first haircut, Jose have us a cute “1st haircut certificate” and a swatch of our sons curly red hair. SO SWEET! The only negative is that the hair studio is small, so don’t bring your whole family for the event. Also, pay attention to his directions for where to park and how to get to the studio!

I’ve never seen my son become hypnotized when cutting his hair. We always have DRAMA ,screams and jumping all over the place. Jose has a magic wand wow I was impressed. He took so much time with him and he didn’t rush it, he said he must be comfortable. Definitly going back for everytime I need to cut his hair.
