Me and my mother went to this nail salon 💅🏾at 4:57pm and when we got there IT WAS CLOSED! NO SIGN INFORMING ANY INFORMATION, CAME AT THE HOURS THEY USUALLY ARE OPEN ! NOTHING BUT BROWN PAPER COVERING THE WINDOWS 🪟. IT IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO NOT INFORM CLIENTS OF WHATS GOING ON WHEN IT COMES TO A BUSINESS. THIS WAS A HUGE INCONVENIENCE!

I got a pedicure and full-set. Loved my nails! Brooklyn did such a good job with the nail design. Good ambience and really nice inside.

I've been coming here since 2021, and the new nail tech that worked on my nails was ok. She did a great job on my pedi and I didn't get what I asked and paid for. I set myself up for an pedi/ and ombre nail set. Wht I gotten was two fingers on both hands polish and just a plain acrylic set. I was super disappointed because I was still charged for an ombre set. I love this place but it was just ok for me.

Let me just say, Genny is an amazing nail tech. I will travel to Tim buck TOOO just to let her work her magic. I don’t let NOBODY touch my feet but Genny. I am so happy she is closer and more convenient location.

Please note manicures are DRY not wet soaked. The technician Sanaia was quiet and skilled. It's a nicely furnished studio.

Customer service is terrible. I booked an appointment for myself and another person. A few hours before the appointment one of the techs contacted me to tell me that she was not in the salon and asked me to reschedule. I was not able to reschedule so the appointment had to be cancelled. I asked if I would get my deposit back since the mail tech is the reason the appointment was canceled and she said yes. I asked her to cancel my second appointment as well and she said that she couldn’t do that. I contacted the salon to cancel the second appointment and again asked about my deposit. I was told that I would receive both deposits. A few days later and both deposits were charged to my card. It’s been such a hassle trying to resolve an issue that was caused by a nail tech not being at work but being available for booking. Never trying this place again.

DO NOT ALLOW SANNIAH TO TOUCH YOU!!! SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING. I PAID FOR A NO CIP POLISH AND DESIGNS ON MY RING FINGER.. IT LOOKS HORRIBLE!!!! THIS SALON IS NOT BEING ACCOUNTABLE FOR ITS STAFF OR ITS SERVICES.. I TEXTED SANNIAH AND SHE WONT RETURN THE TEXT.. I CALLED AND THE ATTENDANT CLAIMED SHE ISN'T IN ON THE BUSIEST DAY OF THE WEEK.. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED THAT I HAPPILY WENT TO A BLACK BUSINESS AND GOT SCREWED OVER ROYALLY..

First of let my say the women who did my nails her name is (GENNY) she is the truth of a nail tech. Her sculpting was amazing. She took her time and was very polite. She asked what I wanted I told her a natural look and you could do free hand. The next time i needed a feel in was a month and it still look amazing. Go check her out you want be disappointed.❤️❤️❤️

Have been looking for a decent nail spot and the search continues. I booked for 430 and was told to either do 4 or reschedule for the next day. I get there and have to have three nails replaced. I was not told the price for this upfront-8 dollars per nail. So a fill in that was supposed to be 45 dollars ballooned to 72 dollars somehow. I then said well I could have gotten a full set. She said yeah, but I didn’t know. And anyway since she schedule an hour between each client there would have been no time to pivot. Got the most basic red nails, and was scoffed at when I asked for glitter. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I've been coming to this place for a minute and have loved supporting this Black-owned business for years but am super disappointed in the rapid decline in great service experiences. Most recently, the nail tech Sanniah is an example of this. For starters, she took nearly five hours for a full set and simple pedicure, which is entirely too long without prior notice. She did not know how to do the nail shape that I requested (ballerina), and I had to ask her a couple of times before she admitted it after fumbling around with the nail file on my hands. In addition, she managed to put a number of cracked/broken tips on the bed of my nails (who does this?) before covering them in acrylic powder. I told her that it would impact the foundation and integrity of the nail but she was convinced that it wouldn't be an issue and said it didn't matter. I asked her to remove/replace the broken tips that I caught but by the time I noticed the others on my opposite hand, she had already covered them in acrylic powder and they had hardened dry. When my nails cracked the next day, as I predicted they would, I followed up with her to fix it and she told me that she would give me to another nail tech who would handle it (because she wasn't going to fix her mess). I later found out she told the tech to charge me to fix what was clearly her mistake and financial responsibility to address, especially after I had already paid over $125 for a pretty basic service (which she also overcharged me for). Very disappointed in the service experience and her unwillingness to resolve despite her knowing she was in the wrong. If you're hoping to find what you're looking for, find another tech! So sad to see this place be hit or miss these days. This place has recently gone to an independent contractor model so there isn't any real structure for accountability and resolve so you kinda have to hope for the right tech. I requested and attempted to connect with the owner Bianca several times directly prior to this review but to no avail. If you don't like gambling with your money or time like this, spare yourself in advance.

Sharmaine is my tech. She's professional, skilled and clean. Her specialty is natural nails and so she's perfect for me. Prices are fair and reasonable. She's timely and I recommend her and this convenient spot close to Hyde Park. They do take walk ins but it's best to go to the site and book online.

Today I took a chance & it paid off! 😭 After coming to terms (after many years of being in nail shops) that I am allergic to acrylic, I set out to find a tech where I could get a Gel-X set done WITHOUT compromising the creative nail art I love. . . When I tell you that I hit the JACKPOT walking in this morning & meeting Aakilah?! I ONLY gave her colors, but she gave me a MASTERPIECE! And I have (LEGIT) never laughed this much during a service—she’s such a PRO! 😮‍💨 She has a customer for life. 💅🏾
