I didn’t get the hairstyle I wanted and when I gave my stylist a chance to fix it he didn’t fix it but made it worse! Also I’m having trouble getting in touch with them because they don’t have a voicemail set up! I want the curls removed! I didn’t do my due dilegence and I let myself down! 100 dollars of this fixed income Senior down the drain

I've been with Amber for a little minute now and I can't stress how much I enjoy her work! She's very open with communication! I would definitely book more than one appt at a time as she's so popular and tends to be booked up! Gotta grab her before someone else does! I enjoy others in the shop as well! Went to AmberK to get my hair done and it looked nothing like the picture that I provided. I actually wanted to cry because it wasn’t the style I wanted. It wasn’t a bad style but didn’t fit me. Now I have to pay someone to do it over. I mean she was really nice and professional but I wanted the style I came in for. I reached out to Amber for a re-do. At first she agreed but then she never contacted me with a date or time to re-do my hair.

I gave it two stars because the hairstylist I had had not returned my attempts to contact him after I was not satisfied with my hair. I went in for one color, and ended up with another color.

I had been seeing a stylist there by the name of Thee Hair Doctor aka Kitty Antwine. There was a time she had to reschedule an appt of mines and told me the next service would be discounted but it was not. I should have left her alone then but I figured she needed the money so I didnt worry about it. Service was quality. I had an appt for April 26th at 8am. I arrived at the shop on time and she was not there. I called and texted several times. Sent straight to VM. I then got a message from her that was a screenshot of her sending me message the day prior stating that she would need to move my appt to a later time. I informed her I never got the message. The app that I used to book her would not let me cancel the appt as for it was literally the time of it and for whatever reason she did not cancel it. My card was automatically charged for the price of the service and she refused to issue a refund. I will now be going to court to sue her for the price of the service and for loss wages due to the fact that I will have to miss work the day of the hearing.

I went for a trim and a cute straightened style after not having my hair straightened for 2 years. After 2 weeks I washed my hair(with the same products I’ve been using) and my hair was BONE STRAIGHT. I hadn’t put additional heat or products on my hair during the 2 weeks. I went to the salon to talk to the hairstylist who did my hair and the owner so I could see what products were used and such. The owner was 30 minutes late to when we were supposed to meet and she was VERY rude and unprofessional. She argued with me, used a very condescending tone, and blamed me for the damage(when I hadn’t even touched my hair). Long story short, I didn’t receive an apology for the rudeness, and no sort of discount or refund for the damage done. Will NEVER be going back here again and I advise others not to as well.

Received a Wave Nouveau done by Christian; he did an excellent job and was very understanding. The salon is very clean, neat, and orderly. Christian was attentive and made sure I was comfortable. I would like to receive confirmation calls, texts, or emails in the future as I made my appointment 5 days in advance and would like reassurance that it was occurring. I will be returning to this salon, it was definitely one of the best services I have had since getting texturizers! Thank you.
